Hi just thought I let you know I met a tradie that used to build cars back in nz and he mentioned your name in high regard I let him know about this channel and he subscribed :)

Very cool! I'm sure he's doing us proud over there 🤘 - Taz.

Another great video thanks. RE boost control, did you consider using a lighter WG spring and a 4 port solenoid to get a broader range of control? If you considered it and went another way, it would be great to cover that decision, pros and cons in another video.

Will you guys be releasing more of the sr86 related videos - like you did with the build series and the race meetings?

I don't think we'll manage the volume we did last year as we really need to spend a bit more time on the spanners which filming takes a massive chunk of time out of, but we'll try.
Anything in particular you want to see or hear about, or just the build in general? - Taz.

@@hpa101 I've been trying to figure out specifically what I liked about that content, I kept circling back to "I enjoyed all of it", the build, the race meets.
It was a nice change from the weekly updates in Today @ HPA - I guess because it was focused on a single subject rather than just a couple of minutes on one subject before moving on to the next.
I completely understand the pace isn't something you can maintain given the time off the tools and just as importantly (to your viewers) the quality of the content - maybe that's why the SR86 build was so good - the content _was_ great - it wasn't just footage/youtube videos for the sake of meeting a perceived weekly post requirement.
Keep up the good work :)

Interesting! I think you should call this something like 'How to control boost' and you would get much more views.

Probably! I'll give it a nudge although we don't like to overpromise in titles as this doesn't strictly teach you all you'd need to know for that. Nothing worse than finding a video with a title that sounds like it will answer the exact questions you have only to find it barely scratches the itch! - Taz.

@@hpa101 Allright but i think its a very interesting subject that not a lot of people are talking about. Everyone is talking more hp, more boost, how to get more more more.

We do an entire course on Boost Control as well as a number of members webinars demonstrating it on different platforms too just FYI if you're ever looking for somewhere to send people keen to learn =)

You are right, people do get a bit caught up with the numbers rather than how the engine behaves on the way to them and if sometimes less would make their car faster. Dyno sheets and on track performance are very different worlds - Taz.

Lots of great info! How much time (on and off the dyno) do you think you spent setting up the changes to boost control and throttle maps for the wet set up?

Have you tested the new G25 against the GTX yet?
