Nice job Derek! Over time you will find the "sweet spot" where you can start one control just before releasing the other one. It will never move like a 50 thousand dollar digger but it will give you more of a smooth, fluid movement.

I'm now 10.5 years with my HFT Trencher. Quite a machine. You'll love it.

I had no idea Harbor Freight made backhoes. Now I'm impressed.

I hope your recovery goes well. I need to install a retaining wall as well. Nice review my friend.

Keep light pressure on the stick coordinating with your next movement and you'll stop the over-pressure squeak.

Hey D, wattup, I'm just catching up with people's vids. Those HF hoes are legit. Probably not enough weight on them is their main drawback, but maybe that could be solved by keeping them hooked up to the tractor via hitch. Hope you're all healed up by now, guy!

Yes I’ve heard conflicting things on the deadman posts. I’ve read you only need them over 4 feet and that’s how high this wall is so I decided not to do it. I might ultimately regret it though. We’ll see!

Not bad for $3k! The bolts around the bucket look very loose or maybe just terrible tolerances. I'd recommend doing something about that before you break the pins
