Good strategy for part two, but part one is waaaaaay harder, because you cannot fight one without the other fucking you from behind. If I can get to part two, I'm usually okay, but part one is ridiculous.
Summon Solaire, he can lure away the another from you.
keep them both in your view AT ALL TIMES!!!!

@@akshayrao1988 Go back to the fireplace where solaire is at inside the room and just talk to him make sure your human as well and not hollow

Using Havels set with a +3 Gravelord it was a breeze, use the pillars to your advantage at the first stage as it can sometimes block Ornsteins attacks just focus on Smough to the best of your ability.

Just beat this fight for the first time and I was wondering if I did it the easy way or the hard way. It took me about 8-10 tries, but I completed the fight killing Ornstien first. It seems to me that your strategy makes part 2 easier at the expense of making part 1 harder, and part 1 is the hard part. If you go Ornstien first part one becomes a matter or kiting Ornstien away from Smough, which isn't too bad. Part 2 then becomes a matter of rolling towards Smough when he does his leap attack. As I am on my first play through I am no expert, but I think my way is easier. Keep in mind I did not look up any strategy guide prior to completing this fight.
i raccomend using long wepons
(halberds and greatswords)
considering that a dagger would just cause a but slam from fatty the first phase,but in the second one u will really have to play good or have summoned solaire knowing that he is lightining resistant he will have a ton of hp.
if u get mega elctro smough u van just leave it to solaire

I am tanked out by grinding with the silver knights soul exp , but Ornstein obliterates me in seconds

if you kill ornstien smough is next and that gives you the soul. what you want to do is get your zweihander and next is after you kill ornstein every time smough is about to attack use a heavy and it cancels smoughs attack

I’m did them second try at level 110 by just becoming human and summoning solaire on the stairs by the silver knight then while smough attacks solaire, I took out Ornstein since he’s really weak at that stage. Then just used smoughs size against him by hiding behind the pillars to heal so he’d get caught and shit

that butt attack kills me in one hit, so I guess Im stuck on this forever, Im even using that ridiculous stone like armor which has high def against lightning
You have to dodge roll *twice backwards to avoid it. You can tell when they are about to jump when they bend the knees. Always keep around 50% stamina in the second phase. The slam attack isn't only lightning damage, it's physical damage as well. If you can, summon Solaire, he makes this fight easier since he tanks one of them while you work on the other in phase 1

What’s more crazy I was always planning on killing Ornstein lol and yeh second one was actually easy I still died but I can kill the boss lol 😂 man I love and hate this game ....😓
I think I'm around try 40 and I've only gotten it down to one boss one time, and that was right when I died. This boss is so frustrating. You really skipped over most of the part I find hardest.
you must hit strong attack with halberd when you are between two legs . best choice is lighting halberd .

It's so annoying because whenever I am about to kill Dragon killer Smough he just jumps on me and my armor is too heavy for me to get away in time so I die and I cant take it off because the armor is to with stand them I when I try to take it off After I kill one of them there isn't enough time so I would say that these two bosses are the two that have made me the angriest I have ever been in my entire life
I never have any trouble against this fight, but I get my ass handed to me by Moonlight butterfly, bed of chaos, Sif, an Artorias
you need to preemptive roll so the beams hit the short wall, roll to make the beams target you in a lower pos, not to evade

no it does not. it boost it by a very tiny amount. hes just leveling alot of hp

Lol sure. Try doing this in my position with a +10 uchi katana that is only doing 62 dmg on them. Its basically impossible.

Most hated? Certainly not. These guys are actually fun to fight when you finally get it down, which cannot be said of Bed of Chaos. That "fight" is bullshit and I never get better at it no matter how many times I play through the game.

meh, personally using solaire is a loss of pride
+SupahNova the purpose of the video is to help people that Cannot do it easily, if you are struggling to beat a boss, you will do anything

Really bad advice. Always kill ornstein first cause the juiced up version of smough is suuuper easy. This dude cant even get a round a pillar. I beat him with absolutely no health just by hugging a pillar and attacking everytime ge was done with that weak butt slam.
how do you avoid the butt attack, its one hit KOs me
