I love to see all the trends, however I'm not trend driven thankfully. Otherwise I would be broke. I watch them to see what I like, and some years its nothing. I absolutely love ballet flats, and I'm keeping my black round toe pair. But they will come back and style again some day LOL. I did buy a new blush colored pair that matches my skin tone that I'm obsessed with. My girls are lifelong ballet dancers. The ballet flats are a round toe, but the pointe shoes are a square toe. So either one is a classic.
I totally get that. I don't like them all either but I do try to be open about trends for my channel and try new things. Everything eventually comes back and the round toes might be back next year who knows! Thanks for sharing!
I think I'm going to be mostly out of style this season because I am not a fan of flashy shoes. I'll just sit this one out and save myself some money, which is fine by me....and my husband, I'm sure. 😊 Fun to see what's in style though, so thanks for the heads up. ❤
I've come to really appreciate a kitten heel. It elevates your look without killing your feet. I picked up a couple pairs of low-shaft boots with kitten heels and pointed toe for fall; I can walk in them all day and style them up or down. I do think kitten heels look a bit odd with tall boots, but they're perfect with ankle boots, mules, pointy sling backs, and sandals. ❤ Can't wait for October! 🍁 🍂
I agree except I think kitten heel boots have come a long way as far as style goes and there are a lot of cute ones out there now! Also, kitten heel pumps are classy, functional, and chic too!❤😊
I never thought pointed-toe shoes could be comfortable, but once I tried them, I never looked back! I just get them in a wide width to have more room in the toe box, and they're great! 😊❤
I live in a rural part of the Southwest. Our boots serve a purpose. Honestly, some of those stylish "Western" boots may look good, but nobody here would consider them real Western boots.

Yes, I think a lot of kitten heel shoes look silly. I especially do not like kitten heel boots. That being said, I have silver sling kitten heel shoes that I bought about 15 years ago that would be totally on trend right now. They have a bit of a squarish toe and a fabricy pleated look on top of the leather with a leather buckle strap across the front. They are quality made in Italy leather shoes. Even though I generally dislike kitten heels, for some reason I really like these shoes. They are the only kitten heel I have ever liked enough to buy. And shoes always show, regardless of coats and weather. I am a little surprised by the hook and loop straps, but I am glad to see something on offer that can be worn by people with finger manipulation challenges.
Hi Jamie! I am really struggling with what type of boot to wear with a wider leg jean or utility pant. I live in Canada where it is very cold and snowy for many months of the year. A ballet flat or even a sneaker is not really a viable option in the winter months! I am very casual so a heeled ankle boot would just be too dressy for me for the most part. I always feel like a moto style boot looks odd with a wider leg opening. Maybe it just takes some getting used to? Would love your opinion on this! Thank you so much.
I am 100% with you about this issue of finding practical, warm footwear options for flared or cropped pants in winter. So many footwear options are not practical for the many winter months (and snow) where I live. So now what? Please help Jaime!

Me I think those fold over boots look terrible but of course young ppl can pull it off, not older women over 30.

I can’t wear skirts in the winter in my climate, unless I’m willing to suffer for a night out, but they’re not practical for everyday activities. I know skinny jeans are supposedly coming back in but they’re not there yet, and it’s frustrating that whatever shoes are considered current don’t go with the pants that are currently in style!
I think most of them except for some of the slouch and Western boots go quite well with the styles in jeans right now. You can even wear some of the knee high boots under wide leg jeans and pants.

Hi! When you say “shoes that are no longer on trend, are you referring to shoes that have just recently been on trend (and are now going out of style)?Or just shoes in general?
That pointed toe is the worst for your toes! Look forward to bunions! Hate them! You showed what was more in trend than what was going out of style! How do these western style boots go with the wide leg pants? Lot to tuck in if you wear like that! Next time I am in combat, I might try those boots! Really didn't care much for the outs or the ins!
Some things never go out of style. I have ankle boots, leather I still wear. Love the style. Almost a cowboy style. I also have nice chelsea boots and they look great any decade. Really. I hate trends. I need comfy shoes at my age anyway.😆 I am not giving up my combat boots and motorcycle boots. Got both. I'll always love my combat boots in all colours. Kitten heels are a pain when the rubber part wears out. I nearly slipped on the metal shaft once. Never again. Also rounded toes look good as well although I have some pointy ones. Bunions anyone? I can’t wear skirts in the winter in my climate, unless I’m willing to suffer for a night out, but they’re not practical for everyday activities. I know skinny jeans are supposedly coming back in but they’re not there yet, and it’s frustrating that whatever shoes are considered current don’t go with the pants that are currently in style!
I think most of them except for some of the slouch and Western boots go quite well with the styles in jeans right now. You can even wear some of the knee high boots under wide leg jeans and pants.
Hi Jackie, as a newcomer, thank you for such a beautiful presentation, very well descriptive details which is much needed. Along with promoting such lovely products.
Also, ..you have taken the time and effort to offer to audiences I believe because of your general love and concern of suggestive thoughts so that they will know and obtain which is greatly appreciated.
Once more, thanks!
“sending wellness”😊
Thank you so much!
I love your top!! Can you please share??! One thing i slightly disagree on is the classic cowboy boots (I’m in Texas so maybe that makes the difference?) I just bought ostrich two tone Freebird classic cowboy boots and when those ‘trendy’ ones look weird and dated, mine will just be breaking in!
Otherwise, love your videos!!
Great video. I have a wonderful pair of combat made by Thursday Boots that I will continue to wear 😊 I love the new sneakers trends
That's great! I love the new sneaker trend as well!
thanks for this
You are welcome!
As a shoe addict I am glad I don’t listen to what is in and what is out. I wear what I want!
So do I! Buti it's fun to look at trends!
I hate FLATS ugh. I have so many pairs of over the knee pull ons. Love them. Might be a little wobbly at a certain height though.
I would so wear the dolce vita tall boots
Save you money and wear what looks good on you and feels comfortable.
Oooh the silver cowboy boot and the cream slouch boots have my heart ❤️
I like those too!
