So heartbreaking. Snape truly loved Lily. But when he deviated to the Dark Side, it was too much for Lily to tolerate. And he deviated to the Dark Side because he had to grow up in a dysfunctional family, feeling unloved and unwanted. He made a wrong decision because he carried deep wounds. I can't help but imagine all of them, Lily, James and Severus (and Remus Lupin and Sirius Black as well) finally living in peace with each other in the afterlife. They suffered enough.
Fictional characters, yes, they are. But they still deserve peace and happiness in the fictional afterlife of the HP universe.

I also thought a lot about his fate and shed tears. Then I read The Cursed Boy, in which Severus Snape comes back in 3 minutes and if all goes well, I’m ready to die, it will be another time, then Harry Potter will be defeated 'ladi. Severus Snape uses a timeline and it all ends well
