Black hoodie, black sweatpant and black shoes with white lining..that was the outfit he looked the best and he looked comfortable and confident and happy too..basically black is our favorite
These are terrible, I'm no stylist but even I know, if you have a gut, dont extend the shirt below the fly, it makes the belly look bigger
Seriously, a fat guy with an untucked shirt just looks like a slob. I don't understand how anyone thinks that looks good. It does NOT hide the fact that you have a gut...at all (source: I'm a fat guy).

@Houston Rockets well, speaking for myself, I've yet to find a shirt that looked good on me left untucked. It would probably have to be just the right length.
If you are going to go untucked, you need to have a shirt that is made for it. There are several brands that make shirts to be untucked for bigger guys. These are not it
He looked better before. This stuff was tailored? Looks like he just bought off the rack shirts that were 2 sizes too big and tight pants.

Would’ve love to have a seasonal series. I’m just so terrible at putting together an outfit!! I remember signing up to five four club about 4 years ago. I received some jeans and they were so perfect it was the first time I felt confident and the feeling of having tailored jeans. Eventually they wore out from all the use. Never found another like those the closest was Levi’s 541 but they were a hit or miss with each pair. Until recently I decided to learn how to tailor my own jeans. I’m excited!

@tim lee no they really did him dirty with the tops. Putting any remotely light color on a fat guy makes them look 10x worse. Grays, navy colors, black, olive green, brown any darker color is the right way to go.

They broke the biggest rules of fat guy attire. Light colors. If yours big you gotta avoid light colors like the plauge.
when I passed 255lbs I gave up. I wear suspenders now cause belt buckle hurts when I sit.
I had the same problem before but I found a way to avoid that, first you gotta buy belt with small buckle , the smaller the better, and twist it until they are oblique before you have to sit for a long time. It takes a few weeks to get used to it but after that it’s just automatic.
Not many hats, I feel like hats could improve the outfits a bit more
He looks so good without the glasses, he prob needs to find a better pair if he plans to wear glasses out. Handsome guy, wish he wouldn’t put himself down so much. The level of confidence between the 2 of them is apparent and acts as a foil to the other.

IMO as a chunky guy, round glasses do nothing for a chubby face (sadly angular frames arent in fashion at the moment) the first look is great, the second makes him look bigger and so does the jumper, 4th look with the short jackets makes him look bigger also, I also beleive trousers that are tight at the bottom give you the clown look and emphasize a big belly!

Several of these looked sloppy and the others I couldn't take seriously. Only one looked someone decent. I don't feel like this tailor really understands how to work with overweight figures.
I'm 270 and my work clothes look better than these outfits. I think you should find what you like and stick to that.

This is my problem with being a guy and cloths shopping..... Women have "put together" outfits that are on a maniquin for each season and year. And they have a design for every female body type.
Now, as a guy you want something easy like that. Point and get. Nope. You search "fat guy outfits for fall" and you don't get outfits. You get tutorials. I know how to dress myself ffs. I know not to wear tight shirts with horizontal stripes and skinny jeans. I don't want a tutorial. I want actual outfits I can buy with links to stores like women get.

I’m sorry but the majority of these outfits look horrible on him. If you had him (or any bigger person) work on confidence a little theyd be able to pull off anything. You don’t need to layer to look good. That’s just trying to hide your body shape, meanwhile your not fooling anyone into thinking you have a different body shape than you do. Instead, get rid of the layering that just make him look bigger, get rid of the overly long shirts for his body type that make him look short as hell, and he would’ve looked a million bucks. Just my 2 cents

Yes but wearing all black all the time looks odd. Switch it up with navy colors and grays. You can certainly use black shirts if you're layering though. I've seen some super nice outfits.

I liked the jeans and shoes, and that striped jacket was fire. Short of that, everything else just didn't seem to fit him well; which is just unfortunate.
I know this was 4 years ago, but it's fascinating that the goal seems to be to make him look slimmer, or at least cover up his weight. As if to suggest looking good = being slimmer. Several of these outfits don't look good on this man, that reversible jacket is horrible, the sleeves are too long and bunch up giving him Michelin Man arms, and the hat and glasses just make him look like a bad CIA agent in a cheap TV show.

just goes to show you that fashion is completely subjective... I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that shit; and I'm surely not one to talk.. Just wear dark t-shirts and basket ball shorts 90% of the time. I wish it was like the 20's fashion.. at least I could hide my blubber under a raincoat/duster or something.
