I was there at the BOTT. Listening to this message fifteen years later, it speaks to me for now. This prophetic word continues to manifest in my life.
“If your gifting is above answering to someone, it is not apostolic!”
This man was mightily used of God and for sure must have been such a blessing for so many people. We need more men of God like this. Bless this man’s family. Praise God for the truth he preached.

I have been preaching at a little community church. Am not sure of their understanding of the Holy Ghost, but they are not apostolic. I have been touching here and there a little on it but have been feeling God wants me to pour it out.
It doesn't matter how many are in the congregation or how well known the speaker is. It just matters the church is the Spirit filled bride being sanctified in His truth. I've been to some of those large congregations. Sometimes I felt like I might as well went to a movie or a concert or sporting event. Just different kind of entertainment. I've never gone back. God's people have to be filled with the Spirit or it's worthless.

Was Paul just rattling, or was he speaking for God when he wrote the one about women having authority over men? If so is the pulpit still a place of authority? And doesn’t the Bible speak of not fellowship with false prophets like the TBN crowd?

Jesus was accused of being a glutton and a wine-bibber because He associated with certain man and women or groups in order to bring them the gospel. Look at the life of Christ for your interpretation of "avoid the very appearance of evil". The religious of His day accused Him of consorting with evil, therefore He must be evil. Consider how Jesus did things because He was The Word Made Flesh. The greatest example of all, is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. He walked both the Word of the Old Testament and that which was yet to be written.
There was a time we didn't know everything!
