I have been watching u tube, Internet to understand the time dilation for about a month but couldn't understand. But after watching this video I think I understood a little bit more.

Hi Sam, you explained the equations very well. But there is big misunderstanding in this theory by most of the people. The time dilation is not exactly real when you are travelling in constant speed. For example you reverse the case, hero is travelling near light speed constantly without any jerk, then he will be thinking he is still, but villain is going in the opposite direction. And if the villain does this experiment then hero will feel villain's time is moving slowly. It is a paradox.
@@ramkumars2329 Because they measured it in all the directions in a moving object and found everywhere it is constant. When it is assumed constant then only all these scenarios like time dilation will happen and these equations will be valid. And these equations are proved correct in various experiments.
This is twin paradox and has been solved long back. As per the results, the person traveling in the space craft i.e the hero is the one that gets younger. Not the way you think.

This is the basis for all physics laws are same in all the constant moving frames of references. In a flight when we move in the opposite direction of earth's rotation with earth's rotation speed, can we say we are static and earth is moving or we will say earth is static and we are moving? This is applicable to entire universe. So when in constant motion no way physics will be different for Hero's frame of reference and villain's frame of reference. How villain sees hero, the same way hero will see villain. Both will feel other's time dilation.

here, the speed of light is included because the hero uses laser light so that, we got the equation like T villain=T hero /root of (1-(v^2/c^2)) if we consider a drone to go up and down with a uniform velocity of 5m/s and let the height that drone moves be x meters and the velocity of spacecraft be v then, hero's frame of reference, speed of drone = 5m/s total time is taken = 2x/5 units Also considering the frame of reference of villain and solving further in the same manner that you used, we get the answer like T villain = (2x/5)1/root of(1-(v^2/ 25)) T villain = T hero/root of(1-(v^2/ 25)) so then, if the velocity of the spacecraft tends to 5, the total time taken for the villain tends to infinite for which only 2x/5 units of time taken in the hero's frame of reference for the drone to go up and down, making a total of 2x meters what is the necessity of using light? can we consider any object which can move up and down with uniform velocity? Is it possible to prove this with side ways movement? how to analyse the proof properly , can anyone say that not in mathematical way? does light is the only thing which can move at constant speed? does drone can really move in the uniform velocity?
The equation is derived by Einstein based on two hypothesis (postulates). He assumed the speed of light is constant. Based on this assumption and using Lorentz transformation, he arrived at this formula. SO if you use the same formula in which you change "c", then this is totally wrong and against Einstein procedure. In this case, your formula will be entirely different. So you cant use this formula used for light to compare with a drone speed. Its a wrong.

I too know that what I have derived is wrong and it is not at all possible but how it is true when Einstein uses light which also propagates at constant velocity!

I accept that due to time dilation, we can experience slow aging. But wrt CLOCKS, will it really ticks slower ? If so, how clocks ticks slower (expecting the mechanical or electronic changes inside the clock)???
In reality, even the atoms tick slower in relative speed. This has been verified by using atomic clocks at two different speeds. Atoms in the spacecraft tick slower than the one in the ground.

so that, we got the equation like T villain=T hero /root of (1-(v^2/c^2))
if we consider a drone to go up and down with a uniform velocity of 5m/s and let the height that drone moves be x meters and the velocity of spacecraft be v then,
hero's frame of reference,
speed of drone = 5m/s
total time is taken = 2x/5 units
Also considering the frame of reference of villain and solving further in the same manner that you used, we get the answer like
T villain = (2x/5)1/root of(1-(v^2/ 25))
T villain = T hero/root of(1-(v^2/ 25))
so then, if the velocity of the spacecraft tends to 5, the total time taken for the villain tends to infinite for which only 2x/5 units of time taken in the hero's frame of reference for the drone to go up and down, making a total of 2x meters

The equation is derived by Einstein based on two hypothesis (postulates). He assumed the speed of light is constant. Based on this assumption and using Lorentz transformation, he arrived at this formula. SO if you use the same formula in which you change "c", then this is totally wrong and against Einstein procedure. In this case, your formula will be entirely different. So you cant use this formula used for light to compare with a drone speed. Its a wrong.

but, my doubt is why can't we use anything with constant velocity instead of light which also has constant velocity in the Lorentz transformation?
here, Einstein used the speed of light as constant and using Lorentz transformation he arrived at this formula. similarly, if we use anything which moves at constant velocity and uses the Lorentz formula, then you said that it is wrong. I too know that what I have derived is wrong and it is not at all possible but how it is true when Einstein uses light which also propagates at constant velocity!

It works only for c. That's due to Einstein postulates. Only velocity of c should be considered constant. No other objects behave the same way.

In reality, even the atoms tick slower in relative speed. This has been verified by using atomic clocks at two different speeds. Atoms in the spacecraft tick slower than the one in the ground.
