    M18 for the win, I love it for light driveway cleaning and for the car and motorcycle, very strong for its size

    Just after the 3.0 mark your trigger is hard to unlock, use a bit of oil on it , will help it to free off , its just dry is all

    The M18 is very easy to cover the intake. My shirt is always plugging up the hole.
    I’ve been considering getting the M12 as the intake on it is to the rear and it’s a larger opening.

    • @FixerMerlin
      @FixerMerlin  Před rokem +1

      I’ve definitely noticed loose pants or shirts will get sucked into the intake on the m18. The m12 is better for that but just not the same animal. I carry both with me but m18 is still my go to day to day

    I see you have the M12 handheld vacuum how good it is?

    • @FixerMerlin
      @FixerMerlin  Před rokem +3

      It’s fairly cheap and underpowered. Depends what you use it for. I keep it mostly when resetting door latches or drilling a deadbolt hole, hanging a shelf or something that creates a handful of sawdust. I can suck it up quick and not have to drag out the shop vac. Works well for that on hard floors, not very good on carpets. It has its place in the tool trailer for sure.

    How old is your M18 blower? Did it come with 2 tips that you can blow and deflate inflatables, like a pool toy or raft?

    • @FixerMerlin
      @FixerMerlin  Před 2 lety +2

      I’ve had it for several years now. I do recall that it came with another tip or some attachments for inflating things like that, however i just put them in a drawer and haven’t used it for that.

    If they are both similar in performance then let’s see where they compare in price.

    Merlin thanks for this video. Already having that compact M18 blower I was on the fence about getting this new M12 blower. I really like the M12 products myself. The M18 still looks to be stronger than the new M12. Not sure if getting the M12 makes sense.

    • @FixerMerlin
      @FixerMerlin  Před 2 lety +2

      Ya they are very similar, these days I’m using mostly m12 tools so that’s why it appealed to me. I’ll still keep the m18 because it’s so handy around the shop, and yes it’s definitely stronger. To be honest it doesn’t really make sense if you’re happy with the m18

    I got one expecting it to be enough to blow debris off my car windshield but it even struggles with that. Honestly disappointed with this one. Like come on I wasn't asking for much from a little blower but my God is it underpowered. It makes a nice handheld fan for cooing off I guess haha 😭😄

    I am not entertained or informed by unboxing. I get little or no useful information. But you have over 100 likes so someone is getting what they want. To take a piece out of the box and say.." hmm... don't know what that is for. I don't know what I would use that for?? I'm gone I can look at stuff and not know what it is for all on my own.
