Sean Strickland dominating a stand up fight with Izzy made me believe in God
Still hasn't made me think you have a brain. Still think it's programmed grey mush
Wouldn't call it dominating. He fought a good fight, izzy couldn't hit him at all. Izzy is too reliant on leg kicking nowadays. Contender Izzy actually was dynamic. But now he just spams the same shit. Sean really won with 2 moves and it's sad but that's the game I guess.

This is so pathetic. Sean checked every single kick and parried every single shot upstairs and they’re all just coping 😂. It’s insane.
They lost lots of money. Gynosanya has lots of sponsors and followers.
It was like they were afraid to say "Sean" or "Strickland", so right, pathetic.
I guess this means sean is pathetic too because he himself said he felt like izzy was not trying and that he almost felt like he was fighting a amateur, guess neckbeard mma fans know more about the fight than the actual people involved
there were plenty of kicks that landed on sean he did not check even half of them
A new champ is the best thing that could happen to middle weight. Dana is fucking stupid for wanting a stalled champ position and Izzy's fans are sore losers who'd rather a dog molester, anime cringelord win
It was actually disgusting how not a single word of appreciation was spoken about Sean. The only positive thing I can find is that the actual MMA fan base is way more honest and unbiased than the entire UFC entourage and official reporters. This will not take anything away from what Sean has done. He put up a masterclass that will live for the ages.
I agree and that's part of what makes rooting for people like Sean fun. He represents the people and keeps it real, while Dana represents the evil empire that artificially pushes fighters he deems the most marketable so he can grow his business empire even more. It creates real tension. You don't find that shit over at bellator.

That's why he was SLOW, LOL Dana is 100% bs with ufc reporters shills pure ufc reporters but really. Their Dana White fan club... not any questions on how great Sean Strickland was in his performance. Congrats Sean Strickland UFC Champion 🏅🏆🏆🏆
It’s because Sean Strickland is completely unmarketable. Mainstream media and sponsors (Monster aside) won’t touch him with a 10-foot pole. The focus always has to be on Adesanya because he’s a much better look when it comes to sponsorship and the media being that he is far less outspoken than Sean, doesn’t hold as controversial views as Sean does and is also a minority and an immigrant. He checks all the boxes for sponsors and the media in terms of the type of person they want to promote. I can’t say that I’m surprised to see them coping.
@@CarlG84mmHard disagree, he has no marketability to the left leaning politically (who contribute the least amount of money), but a TON of marketability to the political right/traditionalists (who are the active-paying community)

You can literally see throughout the fight Adesanya slowly running out of options as Strickland defends against all his strikes. He almost seemed stuck on autopilot and started throwing the same low and question mark kicks hoping it would miraculously land. He had absolutely now solution to the puzzle that is Strickland’s defense.
He was bending in the last round too in response to front kicks to the mid section, he might have been a bit hurt to the legs and body, he was slowing down and getting stuck on the cage over and over again.
He even tried it at the ending 10 seconds. Izzy had legit nothing for strickland. Lost confidence and ran out of options
Adesanya only ever has a plan A. whenever that doesn't work, he really can't do anything. He expected to be able to counter Romero, when that didn't work he did nothing for 5 rounds. He also oexpected to be faster than Jan and land good leg kicks, and when that didn't work he got 50-45'd
Good take. That's what it was. Sean pulled up and masterclassed him
Thing is, Strickland hadn't done anything new for years. How the fuck did they not find a solution in training? Because they underestimated Sean

I feel you are at your best pointing out the hypocrisy of people. Great job!
Yeah he is harsh but fair.
Those question mark kicks from Izzy were some of the fastest I’ve ever seen and he still couldn’t land them
Strickland had all of the excuses not Izzy. He took the fight short notice, passport issues, everyone counted him out, first ever title fight jitters, had a brutal weight cut, jet lagged, fighting in the champs "hometown" etc.etc.etc.
Also, Izzy didn't even stay in the octagon post fight to speak to his home town aussy crowd! Every time a champ loses their belt and doesn't get KO'd they always talk to them last so they can address their fans, talk about the loss, what's next etc. And they do that even in a different city or country whereas this was in Australia! Izzy just stormed out of the octagon and couldn't be bothered. Then he didn't even do the post fight press conference which every other loosing champion ALWAYS does! It was pathetic and disgraceful! And NOONE is talking about this!
Also, Izzy literally lost 2 out of his last 3 fights and before that went the distance with Jared, Robert, Marvin, and lost to Jan in the previous 4 fights before that! How the F do people think he's a dominant champ or even compares to Anderson Silva? Seriously! I have no idea how he got this reputation. And I didn't even mention the Joel Romero fight if you can even call it that.
Also, Strickland's knockdown in the first round 100% made Izzy respect his power which made him hesitant, gun shy and doubt himself for the rest of the fight. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED! It wasn't an off night for Izzy! Strickland was just that good! And Izzy 100% underestimated him. I've never seen Izzy more confident in a fight week, in interviews and even during the walk out in my life!
And you CANNOT say Izzy is good at taking losses anymore. He ran out of the octagon in his "home" country and didn't do the post fight press conference! It was disgraceful!

That worked in his favor i believe, his senses were at an all time high and he was so locked in. I hope he can keep it going, but i do see a fight with Dricus playing out much more difficult for him

@@dangerousfelonI think if Ufc politics don't come into play, holding it seems to be much more difficult. The hardest part about getting the belt is pushing past all the favoritism and bs a company like the ufc constantly dishes out. Doggobender got trash talked, called over his dog and cartoon p0rn addiction, he himself promised BRUTAL KO, had a biography movie about "being yourself and brave", had ANOTHER title challenger fighting on VERY short notice on YOUR territory, he almost got finished in 1st, DOMINATED ENTIRE FIGHT,
AND then, then Strickland lowers his hands, before 5th round ended, both men knowing who will win once fight ends, and DA SEAN YELLED at doggobender with lowered hands and doggobender STILL DID ABAOLUTELY NOTHING.
There is a big difference between "being slow" and being shut down! Sean shut Izzy down completely. Fought his fight not Izzy's!
Dana has said Tony looked like he was in slow motion in one of his losses as well. Sometimes he just says that when a dominant fighter gets smoked. He doesnt want to bash on them as the head of the UFC, plus it helps build narratives which he loves cause it means money. But if he really doesn’t want Sean as champ then give em DDP cause he wud destroy em and wudda dismantled Izzy anyways.

Sean's defense and reads were impeccable that fight and Izzy was unable to get anything going. Leg Kicks? Checked. Feints? Don't matter Philly Shell negated most of Izzy's entries. Jabs? Parried. Counter Shots? Can't evade, fought 99% percent of the fight with back against the cage because of Sean's defensively sound advancing. Confidence? Down completely after the first knockdown, Sean's raised through the roof. Philly Shell sucks if there is any form of a grappling threat which obviously wasn't there (threat is enough no need to actually grapple). Adesanya just lost period, Sean was better that night, that's it. IZZY WAS NOT FLAT OR SLOW. He just couldn't adapt to or "bend" Strickland's style. Sean followed Pereira, he improved from that and he cage cut Izzy, two very different things, this is an improved Strickland, not the same guy who fought Pereira.
I love this channel because you keep things 💯.
I swear Dana hasn’t watched a fight since khabib beat Conor
Dana White is lowkey a casual too, if you pay attention he doesn’t give af about the prelims ever 😂
Dana doesn't care about fights in general. Good knockouts excite him because he knows they make the ufc more money, and he gets the most disproportionate slice of the pie. He's never been a true fight fan. He's exposed himself in various ways over the years. Everything he does that people like is done intentionally for PR/looks. He's never had any respect for his athletes and really only likes the stars who make bank for the ufc.
Man!!! You just gain a fan forever!! Well done and keep the hard work. Niw, There are people who believe that he is the one who put MMA on the map. And even worst, people who believe he takes care of fighter's health before the company's revenues
This is why I have been watching you since you had like 20k subscribers. Your honesty is appreciated man never change!!🙌🏼
You CANNOT say Izzy is good at taking losses anymore. He ran out of the octagon in his home country and didn't do the post conference! It was disgraceful!
Home country adjacent, he doesn’t live in Australia but otherwise I agree 100 on everything else you said 😂
He went to China
I wouldn't say disgraceful he was clearly upset.
Americans all week showing their terrible geography
@@chriswaters2327 Being upset does not take away being disgraceful, which Israel absolutely was and is.
No one said Adesanya was slow until he lost, they were all saying JUST ONE KICK IN THE HEAD!.
even the commentary team (except sanko) didn't acknowledge the fact that izzy was getting schooled until the 4th round
@@mylesgibson169 no one even listens to a girl. her take doesnt count.
@@mylesgibson169 i was actually shocked DC said he thinks its 3-1 Sean, i thought they will be stans for izzy
thanks Guru for setting the record straight again!!!
I'm SO glad Sean didn't finish Izzy in that barrage at the end of the 1st round, the amount of people who would be coping calling it a lucky shot/ punchers chance and calling for the immediate rematch would be unreal, i'm SO glad Sean just walked him down for 25 mins, didn't get a scratch and looked like he could do 5 more rounds whilst beating one of the best middleweight strikers to ever do it. NO Izzy doesn't get a rematch, Sean is just better, so seethe and cope Dana and all the other Izzy meatriders.
Alex said Sean had a great style to beat Izzy. The upright stance helps avoid kicks with less movement, great boxing skills, patience, and constant forward pressure. Who knows, maybe Izzy had a bad night and Sean had his best…doesn’t matter because Sean has the belt
Dana has the belt
Adesanya is just not used to having someone actually bring a fight to him constantly. To be in his face constantly. He never had any room because Sean fought Sean's fight.. he didn't give izzy space to create good strikes.. it was because of how good Strickland was
Perfect commentary literally in tears lol thanks for this 😂
That knockdown in first round definitely changed the trajectory of the fight . Izzy was not expecting Sean to be so good . I actually picked Sean winning a decision like a week prior lol knew he would be able to get it done . Gotta give Sean all the credit man , he did everything perfect to break Izzy down . can tell UFC loves their frosted tips and being feminine and of course their gonna Make excuses for him .
But Now we got a real American man as champion. Glad Sean brought it back to the states . Let's fkn go!!
I have to leave a second comment… This really is the most I’ve EVER seen Dana make excuses for someone. He literally threw out every excuse you can try to make, outside of some Deontay Wilder type thing. Off night, dry, flat, slow, injured, overlooked Strickland… it’s all there.
Just like them saying - Rhonda could beat Saul & Floyd in Boxing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please leave one more comment

Dana is always like this, it's just easier to see this time, Dana just makes things up on the spot 😂
Izzy literally lost 2 out of his last 3 fights and before that went the distance with Jared, Robert, Marvin, and lost to Jan in the previous 4 fights before that! How the F do people think he's a dominant champ or even compares to Anderson Silva? Seriously! I have no idea how he got this reputation. And I didn't even mention the Joel Romero fight if you can even call it that.
Dude again with the brainless Silva comparison 😂 I'm not a israel fan but you people are genuinely stupid af for how much you overhype Silva. He got a title shot off of ONE WIN OVER CHRIS F'N LEBEN LMAO. Israel beat 6 guys in a row to get a title shot and they were ALL better than Chris Leben by far. Silva won his belt off Rich Franklin, a guy who would get mollywhopped by any top fighter today. Silva was great but his division sucked. You guys trash 185 for being a weak division now, do you have any idea how much worse it was back then?... Guys like Whittaker, DDP, and Pereira would have torn through those mfs like nothing. Silva dominated a weaker era of the sport and had the easiest path to the title you could ask for. It's like how khabib and DJ went on the same win streak (13) but DJ gets praised as the goat for having 11 defenses and khabib gets ridiculed for having only 3. Reality is, khabib had to beat 9 guys in a row in the best division to get a shot at the belt. DJ beat IAN MCCALL AND NOBODY ELSE to get a title shot in a brand new division that wasn't stacked at all yet. Can't just compare title defenses. That's childish. There's more context than that. Khabibs 13 fight win streak was clearly over better competition than DJs 13 fight win streak and he was more dominant in the process. Not his fault he had to put in 9x the work to get a title shot.
If they repeat it enough times the NPC's will believe anything.
I actually rewatched the Yoel Romero fight yesterday and I’m baffled at how they gave him the win. Romero was the only one aggressing in that fight. Izzy literally turned his back and ran away from Romero when Romero would blitz in and land strikes on him. It’s crazy how many chances Izzy has been gifted and now they wanna give him an immediate rematch after losing 2 out of his 3 last fights.
"You just got to go in there and do the Man dance"
-Sean Strickland UFC Champion 2023
Mr. Guru! You could not have said it any better. Great job excellent reaction video
Still in awe of what Strickland just accomplished I mean think about what we just witnessed
Just compare Dana's reaction towards UFC 292 and 293 main event results, we have 2 Seans winning world title and the reaction from the boss is heaven and hell different
Bro, you’re doing important work, speaking for the people in an entertaining and engaging fashion, appreciate it 🤣💪🏽🔥💯
I didn't realise this when I watched that press conference but you're so right. Strickland wasn't credited at all for how well he did.
“ Strickland was almost crying during the walkout “
Guru got me on that one lol
Adesanya fans coping everywhere lol. Even in these comments.
He wasn't injured. His weight cut was perfect. He even had his gyno titty out.
He was just so desperate for a highlight finish that Sean schooled him with boxing fundamentals. The rematch won't change anything. I predict Sean by finish.
I didnt see any gyno. I believe he wouldnt have done steroids for strickland. He was so confident
@TheLastApostle there was gyno you blind or what
Not to hard to understand that Dana can't say anything else here.
Izzy is Black, has a feminine side, he's has ties to Australia and he's an excellent fighter!
Sean is Very Hetero, very outspoken about the hypocrisy in the world, very rightwing and kinda woman degrading. He's all 'they' don't want!
Crazy how he just blurts it out. So insecure about the situation. Pathetic Dana.
Sean Strickland spars more than most fighters on the roster. He spars constantly. Congratulations to him for defying everyone's expectations.
Soy Adesanya fans calling Sean a n*o n*zi is so disgusting. It’s absolutely the opposite, he was brainwashed during his childhood with that horrible ideology and was actually able to realize by himself how wrong it was, got out of that cult and became a great dude because of how the sport influenced his life. That’s truly an inspirational story. Only people who were brainwashed as a kid know how hard that is to do.
Yup..not like the slur china-man has no racial history behind it
How’s it a “horrible ideology”? White pride is bad? 🤔 But blacks & Mexicans can pump their fists and chant racial pride statements?
@@slee2695 calling a nigerian born fighter living in NZ a "china man" is a racial slur? Wtf? Would you consider USA-man a racial slur? How about Canada-man or Portugal-man?
@@slee2695 First, it's spelled Chinaman. Second, it just means a man from China. That's literally the definition of the word. If you think that's a slur, you must be racist against Chinese people.
Have racist people used the word? Sure. Just because a racist person uses a word doesn't make it racist.
@@joel-ms bruh, he's talking about Izzy screaming the n-word at DDP after beating Rob. That's not racism, you're just ignorant of the context.
Best last minute of a video I’ve ever seen btw 😂😂😂😂😂😂
An immediate rematch would be an absolute joke.
DDP vs Strickland
Izzy vs khamzat 🐺
Is a bigger card than the rematch, can't believe dana can't see it
Izzy just did the same technique which is the check hook like Pereira did . But sean trained with alex before this fight . So Strickland stayed discipline with hands up and punched straight down the middle. And that Philly shell was beautiful defense
Love this bruvva 👊 had me pissing throughout
Did anyone else like when Izzy kept readjusting.. like it was a martial arts movie.. and then doing absolutely nothing? LOL. Like it was supposed to scare Sean or throw him off.. I cant believe this is the first time we've seen someone check his leg kicks and move out of the way. Normally what we see is this.. "Izzy head hunts.. doesnt succeed.. chews up the opponents legs.. the head opens up.. he gets the tko". Well what happens when you dont allow him to chew up your legs? We just found out. Pressure and distance management. Also another particularly funny thing to note, is that Izzy questioned Sean's chin.. Sean stunned him and put him on his ass in the 1st round. LO~LL~L~L~LL~L~ I would suggest someone let suicide watch know what happened.. if they dont watch MMA. Izzy gonna have a hard time living this one down..
jan was the first to check his kicks
It was stupid for Izzy to question Sean's chin just cause of Pereira, who'd prolly put out 90% of the roster with that left hand. That karma came back to bite him in the ass, lol.
❤
a lot of people did. he got caught.. what can ya do? if he and Alex fought again.. maybe that would have never happened. but we assume thats what would always happen due to Alex's pedigree as compared to Seans. and Izzy has a similar pedigree. but Sean has this point style of fighting where he does as much as possible not to get hit flush, while constantly pressure with an accurate stinging jab. it wore on Izzy. there were little to no openings.. certainly not the big ones hes used to getting vs guys like costa/whittaker etc.. they pressure but then go in. Sean pressures and keeps picking. Occasionally he'll look for a power shot, which he found patiently at the end of the first with that 1-2. when you're only sparring you dont react as much from traps. unless you throw something, strickland doesnt seem to bite. and him biting is him checking or moving out of the way. very patient and focused individual, minus all the talk.@@ZaneIsGod
I was moreso impressed with Jan putting him on his back and proving he had 0 to offer when put in that situation. He cant ever go to LHW, because he uses power and his height(leverage) to get out of take downs. that doesnt fly at LHW. but you're correct, Jan for sure checks leg kicks all the time and that threw Izzy off his usual game.@@Kashmachine10
I lost more respect for Dana in one night than I ever have…..absolute disgrace.
