I highly agree but the problem with this type of discussion is that the layman especially younger teenagers or in their 20s cannot handle such a discussion without throwing tantrums if they are wrong or mistaken or misunderstood.
Young people don’t have the patience to discuss this controversial and sensitive matter. It takes someone mature and intelligent like these two debaters to have an honest discussion and open to criticism.
Immature and ignorant people cannot handle criticism and lashes out in frustration and this is the mentality of most people, not the mature and intellectuals. It is unfortunate that ego is the major cause of violence and many other problems in the world.

I'm a Christian, biblical Christian from Iran. I moved to America 30 years ago. But I always miss my Muslim neighbors. So warm. So loving, so hospitable. They used to come celebrate Christmas with us, for our sake. Sadly, I have yet to experience this love in America. many in America call themselves Christians, but the bible says, You shall know them by their fruit...my Muslim friends, Gods promise to Abraham on mount Morriah came to pass, He provided a Lamb for us all. Take of His sacrifice and eat. Do not trample over the blood of His Son. Believe in Him, and you will have eternal life. I love you my Muslim friends.

James White found it difficult to condemn outrightly groups that persecute Palestininans on the Biblical basis that Israel belongs to the Jews. I would like to hear more condemnation from people such as James White on the subject.

Israel left Gaza years ago, ripping Jews from their homes amd demolishing them to meet the Palestinian's demands. Then, in a position for peace, they elected Hamas, which treats them horribly. Hamas is given tons of money, but it wastes it on killing Jews instead of building a good society. Hamas destroyed Gaza.
The reason why Dr, White hesitated is because it was a politically misguided question. He was standing against people who support Israel's existence compared to people who want to see every last Jew slaughtered.

@@davidgarcia3504 it all depends on the different meanings of "in our image", make note that it uses the word "our" not "my".
Also there is an authenticity problem, as the old testament was written in Hebrew, a translated script could have a lot of lost meaning and misunderstanding in the new text, for example, the term "Son of God" is used many times throughout the Bible, and it is not only used to refer to Jesus (PBUH)
      In the bible :
-Jesus (PBUH) is the son of God
-Isac (PBUH) is the son of God
-Adam (PBUH) is the son of God
-it even says that those who belive and God and follow the commandments are "Sons" of God.
The term "son of God" in the Bible doesn't mean that God gave birth to a son, it means that all human beings are nurtured are under the care of God, like a Father to his Sons.
This means that Jesus (PBUH) is not God's son, and also means that Jesus is not divine, rather he was able to perform miracles (healing the leaper, etc...) through
the divine help of God, just like Moses (PBUH) was able to split the sea in two by God's permission.
The third point one must clarify, is that there are many Versions of the Bible in the current world, which all claim to be following the real bible in its original form (written in Hebrew and Aramaic) but since we have many different versions, that means that we have an authentication problem, since they all logically speaking can2be right, one has to prove first which version of the Bible really corresponds to the original manuscripts written long ago. This means that there is a possibility that there are verses that were added to the Bible by man, or verses that could have been removed, but here we have a problem, since there is a possibility that some verses of the Bible may not have been from God (God only had one version the Bible, could it be that God has mad many different versions of the Bible? surely some Bibles our there are not from God, who knows, it could be the one you are currently using).

@@omaralkammash9225 Jesus Himself upheld monotheism. When asked for the greatest command, Jesus responded, “. . . The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:29-30).
Jesus taught that God is one, and Jesus taught that He was one with God (John 10:30). In response, the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus because they thought He was guilty of blasphemy.
Jesus is not a mere man claiming to be God. He is the Son of God in human flesh (John 10:36-38).
The title “Son of God” does not mean Jesus was literally born from God. The Bible does not teach a physical relationship between God and Mary,
Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. . . . of his kingdom there will be no end.’ And Mary said to the angel, ‘How will this be, since I am a virgin?’ And the angel answered her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy-the Son of God’” (Luke 1:30-35).
Man’s testimony that Jesus is God’s Son
When people witnessed Jesus’ miracles, teaching, death, resurrection, and ascension to heaven, many believed Jesus is the Son of God.
      • Followers of Jesus testified after He calmed a storm: “And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God’” (Matthew 14:32-33).
      • Peter testified: “Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, ‘Who do people say that the Son of Man is?’ And they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Simon Peter replied, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ And Jesus answered him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven’” (Matthew 16:13-17).
      • A woman, whose brother Jesus raised to life, testified: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’ She said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world’” (John 11:25-27).
      • Even the demons know Jesus is the Son of God: “Whenever the evil spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, ‘You are the Son of God’” (Mark 3:11).
      • A military officer and soldiers who were guarding Jesus at His death on the cross testified: “When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, ‘Truly this was the Son of God!’” (Matthew 27:54).
      • Thomas testified after Jesus rose from the dead: “Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, ‘We have seen the Lord.’ But he said to them, ‘Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.’ Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ Then he said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.’ Thomas answered him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’ Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:24-31).
Jesus’ own testimony that He is God’s Son
      • “This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill [Jesus], because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. So Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life’” (John 5:18-24).
      • At Jesus’ trial, He testified: “. . . Again the high priest asked him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?’ And Jesus said, ‘I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven’" (Mark 14:61-62).
      • “We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true-even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life” (1 John 5:20).
God’s testimony that Jesus is His Son
      • God spoke at Jesus’ baptism: “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).
      • “While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. A voice came from the cloud, saying, ‘This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him’” (Luke 9:34-35).
      • “If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:9-13).
      • Previously, God had spoken to man through His prophets, but then He sent His own Son: “In the past God spoke to our forefathers by the prophets at many times and in various ways. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son whom He has appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven” (Hebrews 1:1-3).
Jesus is the “exact representation” of God. Although one with His Father in essence, Jesus is also distinct in Person as God’s Son. God has revealed Himself as one God manifest in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Even before the world began, Jesus was always with God and was God (John 1:1-2; 17:5). God created all things in the universe through Jesus (John 1:3; Colossians 1:15-20).
Although eternally one with God, Jesus came to earth in the form of man (Philippians 2:5-11). Born to the virgin Mary, Jesus is fully God and fully man at the same time (the incarnation: Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:14; Romans 1:3-4; Colossians 2:9; 1 John 4:1-3; 5:20).
Believe in the Son of God
We must believe God’s Word that Jesus is God’s Son, even though it’s hard to understand. We will die with many hard questions unanswered. But we dare not die without responding to God’s promise of judgment and salvation through His Son (John 3:35-36; 5:25-29; Acts 10:38-43; 17:30-31; 1 John 4:14-15).
As the perfect Son of God, Jesus didn’t deserve the punishment for sin, death (Romans 6:23). But by dying on the cross and rising from the dead, Jesus paid the penalty of sin and broke the power of sin for those who would be in Him (Romans 8:1-3).
God is calling sinners to turn from their own way to follow the living Lord Jesus in repentance and faith (Luke 24:46-47). We cannot save ourselves. Only those who turn from sin and trust in the Son of God are saved from sin and eternal death.
“God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God” (John 3:16-18).

Fitim Krasniqi, do you know the Bible the book you claim to have been corrupted? Stand back I'm about to sting. For the New Testament alone we have 25,000 manuscript's that date from the middle of the first century AD the time of Jesus Christ. The first manuscript we hold although it isn't an original it was in circulation while the original was around this manuscript is called the Magdalene Manuscript, something of which Jesus is referred to as Lord. We also hold a staggering 1 million quotes from the early Church fathers also from around the first century AD many of these quotes are from the Apostle's themselves these people met, walked, slept, ate and drank with Jesus Christ Himself. The Bible is thee most well preserved document of antiquity in human history, yet a man 600+ years after the ascension of my Lord and Savior who become demonically possessed teaches you this book was corrupted something of which ever since Muslim's have been able to prove unless there going to lie and distort history. The archeological evidence for the Bible is absolutely outstanding the more we discover archaeologically the more the authenticity of the Scripture's I read from today is proven to be even more reliable using just the manuscript's. Now, let's turn to the Quran BUT from an unbiased view. You have almost nothing and I mean nothing the historical evidence for the life of Muhammed is extremely difficult to prove whereas for Jesus we have extremely famous non-Christian sources that mentioned Him with one being the Jewish historian Josephus. The Quran the same as the Bible I won't lie doesn't have any original manuscript's, but here's the difference the Quran only has manuscript's dating from I the late 8th-9th century correct me if I am wrong not only that they are very, very little in number. Due to the mass amounts of manuscripts we hold for the New Testament and the quotes from the early Church fathers Christians can rest assured what we read from today is indeed what was originally written the evidence for the Bible outweighs the Quran, if anything if makes the Quran look rather silly. A recent discovery took place just outside of Mecca in one of the oldest Mosques in the world a piece of wall fell apart and out come hundreds of Qur'anic manuscript's the problem is it was difficult to find some that matched what the Quran states today.

Do not blame Islam or Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the obvious defects in the Bible. The Bible itself is a collection of different books by different authors and some of the authors accused others of lying. For example, see Jeremiah 8:8, "How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie". The two speakers made very strong arguments and in particular Brother Andalusi clears the clouds of misunderstanding around Sura Taubah as to whether this gives any sort of permission to fight the people of the Book. We should see more of this dialogue between the two faiths as well as other faiths as well, for a peaceful coexistence in religious freedom.

“Unfortunately our two communities rarely talk” -good point.
“What is the criteria that Christians can condemn these wars” -Great question from Br. Al Andalusi ❤️
Wow, Didn’t know that Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, has the tradition of debating with fellow Faiths. MashaAllah; “You cannot retaliate against civilians.” Alhumdullilah
(The “isis” example, seems irrelevant to me; that would be like using the Ku Klux Klans, and recent hate groups as models of Christian thinking)-Astaghfirullah. (Isis actually kill Muslims before anybody else, as Nazis are willing to kill mass civilians as shooters are known to do from Crosius to Cruz in Florida-this section of the debate weakened the beautiful larger canvas of this discourse. One is aware the God in the Old Testament is often saying that He shall destroy idol-worshiping people and cities as well.
(Osama was a CIA plant and buddy of the rich Bushes, from what I understand). Noting to do with Islam in practice.
Brilliant point from the Brother Al-Andalusi at the end-when so-called “Muslims” begin using Western examples to explain their religion, they give the wrong message about Quranic solutions to warlike problems.
Br. White, lovely point: “You cannot stop people from abusing Truths.” Wow. Eye-opening.
May Allah bless them both and give them continued perseverance and miracles.

***Is religion the cause of all wars?***
Former national security adviser to U.S. President Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, wrote in his book, 'Out of Control: Global Turmoil on the Eve of the 21st Century' (1993) that the "lives deliberately extinguished by politically motivated carnage numbers between 167-175 million."
From this figure, Brzezinski cited 87.5 million deaths to be directly as a result of *secular wars, for secular interests, waged by secular nation states.*
This was a very conservative figure compared to those cited by other political analysts and academics:
    - Mahmoud Cherif Bassiouni cited 203 million deaths in his journal entitled, 'Searching for peace and achieving justice: the need for accountability,' published on 'Law and Contemporary Problems' (1996);
    - David Barrett cites 45.5 million deaths of just Christians alone in the 'World Christian Encyclopedia' (2001);
    - Stephane Courtois in 'The Black Book of Communism' cites 85-100 million deaths;
    - Milton Leitenberg cites 130-142 million deaths in his research for the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University in 1996;
    - Rudolph J. Rummel cited 170 million deaths in his book 'Death by Government' (1994);
    - Matthew White cited 123 million deaths from wars in the 'Historical Atlas of the Twentieth Century' (2010).
Whilst the vast majority of these academics and analysts are cheerleaders of capitalism and ardent critics of communism, they could not dismiss the ideological framework and the metaphysics of the secular nation state as an underlying factor behind the creation of industrial scale war machines.
So next time some wisecrack smugly tells you that "religion is the cause of all wars" just cite the above statistics and studies.
Unless, of course, they're referring to secularism and capitalism as "religions" :)

i appreciate Mr. al Andalusi for his gentleness and how clear he is presenting his arguments. But one thing he did not touch was on the question that James asked on 1:24:30 about surah 9:29-31 that is "is there any conceivable context in which that could be applicable in modern situation?" Andalusi answered that first, there is no idea in these verses that christian should be killed. Second, he never found Isis used these verses on their terror action towards people .
But i think that does not answer the question, the question was HOW do we apply it in modern context but Andalusi didn't give us the answer, he went to the idea off killing christian and isis instead. anyways, this is a great debat. thanks.

ayoub ouardi we are going to have to come up with different form of debate because all that you are sharing has no effect on me whatsoever.
Why does my Lord and my God bother you if He is just a prophet?
Your choice to follow Islam does not bother me. I have studied Islam and I know it's not the truth, with all due respect because the truth sets us free. God is truth and Holy. I seek God. I Serve God. Islam basically in my opinion does not equate with jewish or Christian theology but claims to be the path.
It does not flow like a river. Islam completely empties history and historical facts. If it was the truth we would all follow but I know it's not the truth. Jesus will always be my Lord and Saviour, my God in whom I trust.
What is it you are looking for?
I don't understand why or how a prophet can cause so much antagonistic between nations when Jesus preached about love, forgiveness, repentance, kingdom of God, dying sinless and resurrection, healing. Just what is it that people fear Jesus if he is just a man and prophet. If he's just a man then we don't follow men and if he's just a prophet then he's just a man again therefore we don't worship a man. So why waste your time convincing people of a man? I would not bother. But everyone fears Jesus. Everyone.
Even the demons know who He is and fear Him. They thought it was there time and Jesus told them to shut up. If he's just a man, why did the demons fear Him? Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.
      Name above all names
All means all. Not some, not under, but above all.
Choose the kingdom. Jesus is coming soon.

Aida not Ahmad: It's interesting that Dr. White speaks of the CROSS being so important here and the blood on it, and yet we read in the Gospel of Luke's account of the events after the supposed crucifixion- where upon reunion with his disciples- Jesus (peace be upon him) never mentions his ordeal while on the cross. And makes it a point to show the disciples that "it is I myself"... by mentioning/illustrating he is STILL flesh and bones (something a spirit would not have) and that there are no signs of being nailed on the cross evident on his hands or feet. Because definitely if there were wounds from nails (or anything else) the disciples would have been running around to get bandages/medicine to tend to them.

    • @ahmadrashid970

Aida not Ahmad: Yes, you've noted John's account. And it is a fact that the Gospels' accounts of what happened after the supposed crucifixion are DIFFERENT from one another. One EVENT... FOUR different accounts ! So it depends on which one you're willing to believe gives the best report of what happened because they completely differ ! (And when something happens in the world it doesn't happen four different ways). Luke's account to me seems the BEST. Especially when we read what Matthew says about Jesus (pbuh) praying-twice- to escape death in the Garden of Gethsemane. (Matt. 26:39-42) From what Jesus (pbuh) supposedly said and did in Luke when reunited with his disciples in the Upper Room, it was evident he was trying to PROVE and to CONVINCE them that he was the SAME, still FLESH and BONES, as he was BEFORE he left them, and did NOT die on the cross. Plus, he did not greet them with the words "I have come back to you after DYING for your sins." Or anything like that. Appears to me he did escape death.

James White is a scholar who has obviously studied Islam to some extent. It is easy to say that you must have studied Islam for 40 years before you can give an opinion on scripture, but I honestly do not think it should take that long for books to be analyzed especially when you are breaking down specific passages. Scripture really isn't that cryptic. It does take a command of the original language along with some contextualizing, but that's about it.

Sayings all humans are unclean with God & the only way restore that relationship is through Jesus' sacrifice makes no sense.
Islams view makes more sense in that it is in the remembrance of God that we obtain peace. God is all Merciful & all Powerful, he created us & understands our limitations so he can just forgive. God is already near to us & all we have to do is call, he is not a distant far away figure that cannot reach us unless a sacrifice is made.

Samy El Sayed The lack of understanding of YHWH's atonement in Islamic world is perplexing. It is the consistency James applies throughout his debates. To understand Yeshua and his sacrifice, you must have an idea why it had to be done. Starting backwards doesn't work for some people, specially for the Islamic mind whom has been conditioned to belief against the sacrifice. The understanding of Messiah is also different from a Jewish perspective. Once, the starting foundation is understood people should have a concept of the correct Abrahamic school of thought. Atonement doesn't come out of thin air, there's a reason for it, and process that must be fulfill. Like Dr. White states, God is consistent and never changes.

Legend24 Even people of non religious backgrounds have trouble understanding the idea of atonmenent & the trinity. If your implying only Christians can understand the atonment because they have been conditioned that way then there is no way people from other backgrounds can understand it.
I honestly dont see the consistency of the atonment from the NT to the OT as the Jews never understood that the messiah would come as a sacrfice for their sins even though they were reading the OT for thousands of years. God in the OT does not take pleasure in burnt offerings & sacrifices, its through prayer & sincere repentance, thats the same principle in the Quran.

    • @amorrobel
      @amorrobel Před 7 lety

Samy El Sayed Its rather easy. The atonement requires a sacrifice. Requires blood. A sacrificial lamb. Your statement actually applies to Muslims whom have been conditioned not believe in original sin, sacrificial lamb, and death of Jesus, the most confirmed event history. Jesus was crucified, died and rose from the dead otherwise his disciples wouldn't have had such strong belief, wrote what they wrote, and died believing.
Jews have also been conditioned not to belief in a "human" sacrifice. Did not God demand the sacrifice of Isaac to test Abraham? Therefore, human sacrifice is an acceptable practice to atone for once sin. Jews do have such an atonement practice to this day, where an innocents death atones for the sin of the community as crazy as that sounds, yet they do not want to acknowledge the sacrifice of Jesus.
The trinity concept is simple to discuss yet hard to comprehend. We can't never understand the immense power of our creator. But we can grasp the ways He has revealed himself in scripture have apply some understanding from there. Jews and Muslims state God hasn't interacted with humans, hasn't come down from heaven, but has send messengers (or angels). It's a false understanding. God came and ate with Abraham, blessed Haggai, Sarah, Ishmael, wrestled with Jacob, and many more encounters by prophets. His ruach (spirit) has also provided guidance to prophets. All these have been called YHVH. They appear as manifestation of YHVH but are Him. The Father has NEVER been seen, only the Ruach and Angel of YHVH revealed him to us. They are Him yet different in the sense of the role they have played.
CS Lewis has a great quote in understanding of an infinite dimensional God.
The concept isn't difficult, its in black and white in the bible. Simple to understand. My recommendation would be to pray prior to reading scripture for God to guide you to the truth.

Legend24 The Islamic view of God is that he is beyond what any human can imagine. He is near to all of us & all we have to do is call. Isn't that what Psalm 51:14-17 is all about?Praying to God asking for his mercy to decend upon us. Thats the Islamic way. If we are doomed unless a sacrifice is given then what is the point of this Biblical prayer?
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
      The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
      16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
I find that the Christian idea of God deviates from the original teachings of the OT & over complicates things. To say Jesus is fully man & fully God is a contradiction, perfect & imperfect at the same time is like saying God can create a square circle.
Just because we are brought up conditioned to think in a certain way doesn't mean we should accept things blindly & abandon the intellect God blessed us with.

The main thing that drives me crazy about these debates, and that includes evolutionists and atheists who always do it too, is they immediately point out that there are numerous views on Christianity, and this is to imply that therefore Christianity is somehow discredited. This is not the case. That is like saying if 90% of students miss a math question, then they all missed it. No, 10% still got it right. Further, while we may differ on areas of modesty and pacifism, etc., most still conform to the basic fundamentals of the New Testament, specifically the Fruit of the Spirit and subsititutionary atonement of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior (the short answer). Every faith, even Islam, has multiple factions who subscribe to differing interpretations and doctrine. While I find this a cheap shot, and even hypocritical, I appreciate the respectful nature between the two speakers, and I respect that both are faithful in their beliefs. There are parts of Islam that I deeply respect, such as devout prayer 5 times a day, and wish contemporary Christianity, especially in America, acted with such devotion. Going to church for an hour on your day off then acting like a secularist for the rest of the week is not Christianity. Neither is prosperity Gospel which conforms the Word to man and not the other way around. This is not an indictment on Christianity, I am one, only on those who put their own self-interests above those of the Lord, which even I am guilty of at times; that is sin nature and why Jesus had to die for our eternal reward.

In order to understand the life of Prophet Muhammad it is important to understand few crucial aspects about the narrative of the Quran. It is as if the Quran is doing commentary on the life of Prophet Muhammad. It is being highlighted in some recent works on Quran that with regards to its subject-matter, Quran is the narrative of a messenger's warning (indhar in Arabic) to his people. Seen in this light Quran would be the best biography of Prophet Muhammad. Obviously it takes deep insight to see how this is the case.
The crucial point to realize in this regard is the difference between a Prophet (nabi) and a Messenger (rasul). Messengers are special prophets who carry out a divine mission on Earth. Let us try to understand that mission and the history of all the Prophets and Messengers sent by God. We will then see the pattern emerging and would help us understand the wisdom behind God's plan with humanity. As Quran claims the unity of God and unity of man, initially mankind had one religion: belief in one God and humanity to man. But then as history progressed human beings deviated from this basic and simple religion (which we can call basic Islam) by adding to it alien doctrines and practices. In order to guide them back to the correct religion God decided to send prophets and books to different nations. The prophets would remind them of their duty towards god (they didn't bring any new information with regards to this doctrine, it is already innate in all human beings) and responsibility towards his creation. They would also warn them of the day of judgment when God will judge based on our deeds. But even after hearing the rational evidence and seeing God's signs in his creation the people of the prophet's nation would deny him knowingly. In order to establish experimental proof of their message, God then decided to appoint certain of these prophets as messengers. According to Quran Noah (Nuh) would be the first such messenger on Earth. A messenger starts his mission as a prophet, calling people to rectify their deviation. They would give rational evidence and proofs to his people in order for them to think and self-reflect. But then during this prophetic phase of the messenger's mission will come a time when God decides that no more evidence would be presented as those people will not mend their ways and his judgment would now take place on Earth. For this the messenger and those who responded to his call are divinely instructed to separate from the rejecters. Noah's ark was this separation, it separated the believers from the disbelievers. God then sends the forces of nature to establish his judgment for the nation of the messenger on this very Earth, believers are saved/victorious and rejecters punished, just like what will take place in the day of judgment. The objective is to establish historical witness of the day of judgment, in Quranic terminology this is called 'shahadah' (witness). In short we can summarize the difference between a prophet and a messenger, a messenger's call culminates to a witness. This is the reason we say 'I bear witness Muhammad is Allah's Messenger' and not merely Allah's prophet. This is what is referred to in the Quran as the 'sunnatAllah', the divine practice of God through his messengers. The story of Saalih, Lut (Lot), Musa (Moses), Ibraheem (Abraham), Isa (Jesus) all have this feature in common since all of them came as God's messengers. Space doesn't permit, but it would be instructive to see how God's judgment took place at various degrees for all of these personalities and their nation.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was also a messenger and his 23 years of preaching mission was no different. As a messenger he established God's judgment on his people, the children of Ishmael (Arabs) and the people of the book of Arabia (Jews & Christian). The difference between his mission and that of Nuh is that since he was able to get substantial followers (through divine help), God used the 'hand of man' instead of the 'power of nature' to punish the rejecters. The military mission of Prophet Muhammad needs to be seen in this light primarily. Sometimes we get lost in the details of the story and don't see the big picture. After 10 years of various military and political campaign (again through divine instruction), the final judgment was announced after the conquest of Makkah in surah Taubah (chapter 9 of Quran). Those non-Muslims who quote the 'jihad' verses of surah Taubah fail to realize the background of its revelation, unfortunately many of the extremist groups would do the same and think that the verses are instructing us to wage war against today's non-Muslims.
The judgment that took place in 7th century Arabia through Prophet Muhammad has taken place in the known history of mankind, so too the judgment through Jesus and Moses. The three Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are a historical reality and it is through them that God communicated his message to the other nation of the world in this historical period. The stories of the messengers sent to different nations of the globe before Abraham are all part of pre-history, mankind has not been able to preserve those incidents when God directly intervened in human history. It is altogether a different matter how the followers (not the immediate followers of the messengers - the first generation) of all the three branches of Abraham have deviated or fallen short of holding fast to the true teachings of God's religion.
All the jihad and qital waged by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had two dimensions: firstly it was a means to eradicate oppression and persecution and secondly to establish a miniature Day of Judgment on this very earth by establishing God's judgment. The believers are given victory and authority over the land and the rejectors are given punishments according to their crimes: death penalty for the mushriks of Arabia and jizya for the people of the book. No doubt the latter dimension can only be specific to the age of the messenger, the former is the universal shariah applicable for Muslims for all time and place. The hadith 'whoever changes his religion kill him' has to be understood in this context. It is not an independent directive of shariah. As is often the case with hadith, the background and context is not always apparent as the narrators sometime omit them. The hadith is talking about death punishment of the people of Arabia (the nation of the Prophet) at that time; whoever goes back to jahiliyyah after accepting Islam he must face God’s judgment as the truth has been conclusively communicated to the nation of the messenger. The hadith "I have been commanded to fight the people (the people of Arabia at the time of the Prophet) until they testify 'la ilaha illallah.' "also needs to be understood in this context. It is a divine law regarding the messengers. The incident of banu-quraidha, the war of 'ridda' waged by Abu Bakr during his caliphate and the execution of certain disbelievers outside of the battlefield also make sense once we see them in this light. The ulama have wrongly tried to derive rulings of shariah from all of these incidents and narrations, whereas they are specific for the age of the messenger and his people. These conclusions are based on a critical analysis and appreciation of the language and coherence of the Qur'anic discourse, without any need to read 'liberalism' between its lines. An extensive amount of work has been done on Qur'anic hermeunitics by the scholars of the Farahi school in this regard. Please refer to the following,

Would the ''Fallen one'' command a man to warn his people against Satan and tell the people that Satan is their biggest enemy? Would the ''Fallen one'' command the people to believe in Christ and to love him and expect his return which would mark the end of the world? The real question is if the''fallen one'' deceived Paul and created the biggest ''false'' religion known as Christianity?

Think about this and allow it to register. Sura 9:30, as quoted by James white, where Allah, the god of Islam, tells the Muslim reader, that Allah kills Christians who dare to say that jesus is the son of God. Let that sink in.
Also, notice Abdullah says where the Koran says "fight those who do not believe in God" cannot apply to Christians as "Christians believe in God", he then follows by saying the verse applies to those who have "broken the commandments of their own religion". He is talking about orthodox christianity. As muslims believe because as the Koran claims, jesus never claimed to be God nor the son of God. In Islamic theology, jesus came with a religion (islam) and the people that we identify as "christians" who say jesus is God/son of God have, quoting Abdullah, "broken the commandments of their religion". See how dirty Abdullah is? In his mind, an Islamic mind, 'true Christians' are the ones who do not say jesus is God/son of God. Unitarian type "christians". Not trinitarians. But he won't dare say so because he knows what the natural, genuine and legitimate reaction from Christians to Islam would be, one of disgust and zero tolerance. That is actually a good example of Taqqiyah. Fear of the kafir reaction to the koranic reality. So they lie, with the permission of their god Allah.
I think dr white did well taking it there to sura 9:30. For me, that is the most important verse in the Koran as far as "Christians" are concerned. They should know that the Islamic god in muslims "holy book" literally says he kills people who say "jesus is the son of God".
And any Muslim who is cool with that, think about it this way, what if there was another "holy book" where 'the god' of that book says he kills people who say 'muhumad was a prophet', how would you feel about that? Would you tolerate it in midst? Your goal would be to destroy it, right? Then you shouldn't cry when people speak out against Islam. And if Islam was "banned" and muslims were deported from kafir lands, don't cry, because if a book spoke about muslims in the same way Koran speaks about kafirs (Christians by definition), you muslims would never allow it anywhere in your space. You would call it a hateful book that incites violence against muslims. True? Don't be a hypocrite.

God's people are always called to defeat God's enemies. In the Old Testament, this happens by means of physical weapons as the Israelites possess the land God gave them. In the New Testament, God's people defeat God's enemies and possess the Kingdom of God in the name of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, through the power of the Holy Spirit, by waging spiritual warfare, not with carnal weapons, but with spiritual weapons of truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and the word of God. However, let's be clear. The US was under attack from Islamic terrorism before 9-11.

And if you are suggesting it's not possible with out Y chromosome - Heck! That is exactly why it is a miracle. In Quran God compares the likeness of Jesus to that of Adam. Daniel Gibson..... I have a few questions, would love to have them answered. 1) What makes Muhammad a prophet? What did he prophesy about? 2) Does allah deceive people? Is allah a lair? If Jesus didn't die on the cross, why did allah make it look like he did and by that deceive billions and send them to Hell on purpose? 3) Name one miracle that Muhammad did? 4) When Muhammad tells you to not take Christians and jews for friends,...do you obey it? 5) Did Muhammad sin? 6) Is Muhammad a pedophile? He had sex with Aisha when she was 9 years old! 7) You are commanded to wage Jihad against all unbelievers until they pay the Jiziya and feel themselves subdued. Are you for or against it? 8) Muhammad couldn't tell a difference between a revelation from God and a revelation from the Devil, and yet this is the man whom you trust with your eternal destiny? Why? 9) The Quran says that what the Christians have is the word of God. If the Bible is true then Islam is false, if the Bible is false then Islam is false as well because The Quran says that the Bible is true. What is your take on that? 10) How do you know which parts of the Bible are claimed to be corrupted and which are not? How do you make that distinction? 11) Why does the Quran command to kill unbelievers instead of converting them and thus saving them from Hell? If you kill non muslims aren't you just sending people to Hell? Don't people have their whole life to accept God? 12) Why did allah give Muhammad special privileges that no other man has? Isn't it rather suspicious how Muhammad got a new revelation every time he was caught in adultery or was stealing, murdering and taking people into slavery that just a few days or weeks later allah says its ok and gives him that special privilege so he can continue doing it without any problems? 13) If you say allah is the most merciful why does he demand the most gruesome execution of non muslims? 14) If you say allah is our creator, why does he delight in the destruction of his creation, and especially when jews and Christians are killed? 15) In the Quran it says that the most awful name in the sight of allah on the Day of Resurrection is a man who is called "King of Kings". Why is allah scared of a man? The King of Kings is Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God. Why is allah scared of JESUS ? 16) The Quran says that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. Since she was a virgin and Jesus had no earthly father, who was his father according to Islam? 17) Why is Jesus mentioned by name 25 times vs Muhammad being mentioned by name only 4 times? Is that not a clear indication that Jesus is far more significant then Muhammad even if we go by the Quran? 18) Do you know that allah is not God, but the great deceiver, the father of lies, satan himself? 19) Are you practicing Taqiya? 20) Would you like to turn away from satan (allah) and start worshiping the one true living God. Just accept JESUS as Lord. He lives so if you have any questions, next time you pray just ask him. If you do not know what to ask JESUS, why not ask him if he is Lord? Ask him to show you the truth.

Own Own ok now I'm gonna answer ur question in sha Allah بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most merciful. 1) as Muslims, it is mandatory that we believe in all Prophets and Messengers of God, without making any distinction between them. As Allah states in the Quran regarding the believers:
“All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.”
      Quran 2:285
Nevertheless, although we make no distinction in terms of believing that all Prophets and Messengers were sent by God, whether it be Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and of course Muhammad ﷺ, we do in fact favour certain Prophets amongst others.
As Allah also states in the Quran:
“Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree…”
      Quran 2:253
On saying this, we as Muslims wholeheartedly believe that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the greatest of all Prophets due to the many evidences available. We have compiled a list of ten of the strongest signs that prove this, along with their accompanying references.
He was the final Messenger sent by God to the entirety of humanity.
      Allah states in the Quran:
“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things.
      Quran 33:40
Thawban also narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“…And I am the last of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me.”
He was given the Quran, the final revelation of God.
      Allah states in the Quran:
He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
      Quran 3:3
He was granted the largest following.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Amongst the apostles I would have the largest following on the Day of Resurrection, and I would be the first to knock at the door of Paradise.”
He is the leader of the children of Adam.
He will be the first to be resurrected.
He will be the first to intercede on the Day of Judgement.
Abu Hurayrah, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“I will be the leader of the sons of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and the first one for whom the grave will be opened, and the first to intercede, and the first whose intercession will be accepted.’”
He will be the first to cross the Siraat bridge over Hell Fire.
It was narrated that ‘Ata bin Yazid said:
“I was sitting with Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’eed. One of them narrated the hadith about intercession and the other was listening. He said: ‘Then the angels will come and intercede, and the messengers will intercede.’ And he mentioned the Sirat, and said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘I will be the first one to cross it…”
He will be the first to enter Paradise.
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“I will come to the gate of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection and will ask for it to be opened. The keeper will say: ‘Who are you?’ I will say, ‘Muhammad.’ He will say: ‘I was commanded not to open it for anyone before you.”
He was granted the Maqaam Al-Mahmoud (The Praised Station).
      Allah states in the Quran:
“It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqaam Al-Mahmoud (a station of praise and glory).”
      Quran 17:78
      Ibn Jareer said,
“Most of the commentators said that is the position which he ﷺ will occupy in order to intercede for the people on the Day of Resurrection, to ask that their Lord might grant them respite from the great hardship that they are suffering on this Day.”
He led all the Prophets in Prayer during the Night Journey.
These are just a selection of the proofs that indicate that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the greatest of all Prophets to have walked this Earth. May the peace and blessings of Allah, God Almighty, be upon him, his family and his companions.

      Mazaradi Ali 2)
Is Allah the Best of Deceivers?
According to the Qur'an, Allah is the "best of deceivers" (3:54; 8:30). The phrase is often translated into English as "best of planners," "best of schemers," or "best of plotters," but the root word (makr) means "deception." Hence, the following Qur'an verses should be rendered as follows:
Qur'an 3:54-And they (the unbelievers) planned to deceive, and Allah planned to deceive (the unbelievers), and Allah is the best of deceivers.
Qur'an 7:99-Are they then safe from Allah's deception? No one feels safe from Allah's deception except those that shall perish.
Qur'an 8:30-And (remember) when the unbelievers plotted deception against you (O Muhammad), to imprison you, or kill you, or expel you. They plotted deception, but Allah also plotted deception; and Allah is the best of deceivers

3 Allah is not a lair to give u prove. 1- This Quraan is challenge from Allaah to mankind and the jinn to produce anything like it, but they were unable to. Then He challenged them to produce only ten soorahs like it, and they were unable to. Then He challenged them to produce something like the shortest soorah in the Quraan, and they could not do it, even though those who were being challenged were the most eloquent and well-spoken of mankind, and the Quraan was revealed in their language. Yet despite that they stated that they were completely incapable of doing that. This challenge has remained down throughout history, but not one person has been able to produce anything like it. If this were the word of a human being, some people would have been able to produce something like it or close to it. There is a great deal of evidence for this challenge in the Quraan, for example, the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
      Say: If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quraan, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another ;
      [al-Israa 17:88]
Allaah says, challenging them to produce just ten soorahs:
Or they say, He (Prophet Muhammad) forged it (the Quraan). Say: Bring you then ten forged Soorah (chapters) like unto it, and call whomsoever you can, other than Allaah (to your help), if you speak the truth!
[Hood 11:13 interpretation of the meaning]
Allaah says, challenging them to produce just one soorah:
And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Quraan) to Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a Soorah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allaah, if you are truthful
[al-Baqarah 2:23 interpretation of the meaning]
2- No matter how much knowledge and understanding mankind attains, they will still inevitably make mistakes, forget things or fall short. If the Quraan were not the word of Allaah, there would be some contradictions and shortcomings in it, as Allaah says:
Had it been from other than Allaah, they would surely, have found therein many a contradiction
[al-Nisa 4:82 interpretation of the meaning]
But it is free from any shortcoming, error or contradiction; indeed, all of it is wisdom, mercy and justice. Whoever thinks that there is any contradiction in it, that is because of his diseased thinking and mistaken understanding; if he refers to the scholars they will explain to him what is correct and clear up the confusion for him, as Allaah says:
Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e. the Quraan) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable well fortified respected Book (because it is Allaahs Speech, and He has protected it from corruption).
Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it, (it is) sent down by the All Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allaah)”
[Fussilat 41:41-42 interpretation of the meaning]

4 Some of the Miracles of the Holy Prophet Muhammad
A number of miracles were bestowed upon and performed by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to establish the proof of his prophethood. The greatest miracle bestowed upon him was the revelation of the Qur'an. The Qur'an is miraculous in a number of aspects: Its linguistic perfection and inimitability, its validation by recent historical, archaeological, and scientific discoveries, its prophecies and so on. Unlike the miracles of other prophets before him, the miracle of the Qur'an is eternal. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also provided us with a number of true prophecies.
Below are accounts of the some of the other miracles of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) . Before reading these, it helps to know something about the Science of Traditions (Arabic: Ahadith), an exacting and comprehensive system developed by early Muslim scholars to verify the chain of transmission of these accounts, as well as investigating the trustworthiness and capability of every narrator at every level of the chain. This thorough authentication process ensures that these accounts are real, validated narrations of the sayings, actions, and tacit approvals of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

Why is God such a bad communicator that he needs these 2 mouthpieces to interpret his divine word. Surely an all powerful God could reveal his word in such a way that all of us could be in on the secret.

Not enough time in the world to read all of the silly fiction available, but I'm going to guess you have one of those cop-out theist mind tricks about how ms god can't make her presence known because I wouldn't be able to be moral?
So let me get this straight; Logic according to theists, I can't really be moral, if I don't believe in god. But if god were to reveal himself to me in a way I would believe in him, I wouldn't really be moral. But if I don't really believe in him, I will burn for eternity. Do theists even hear themselves talking? Sorry, dumb question.

? Christian Prince is a native Arabic speaker which means he can't be deceived when people try to blame not understanding the Quran due to not understanding the language, White is probably able to read the Quran but can't understand the language
