Fable 2 Glitch Infinite EXP

- this glitch allows you to max out all your skills all you do is follow the video its a house in oakfield once you sleep inside you get a speed bonus then you deduct the points and max out your stats you must do this glitch offline without the update or delete the update to do this glitch. 1. if you updated your game (most likely you did, this removes this glitch) so we need to remove the update. first go to your xbox dashboard. then go to your system tab, select memory, and highlight your hard drive and press 'Y', now press the following X X LB RB X X, and it will ask you to do maintenence on your xbox. hit yes. dont worry, it only removes the updates, not your saves. your safe.
2. now start up Fable 2
3. when prompted to update, hit DO NOT UPDATE NOW. (you will not be able to use LIVE until you update, but you can update after the glitch)
4. now go through the steps for the glitch. which i will recap.
GLITCH:
Step 1- have about 5-6k and buy the house in oakfield that has the woodcutting job right by it, the gate in front of it, and the chicken pen attatched to hit. (it has a speed bonus)
Step 2: sleep, when you wake up go to your abilities menu, sell/discard your speed ability. you will get the EXP for selling it, but keep the ability. repeat this until you can upgrade the speed fully, and continue to sell the ability until you can max out all experience.
And then you will have max experience, (this can be done at any point in the game as long aas you have not done the update yet.)thanks to worldseries2430 for this list of steps its a really easy glitch. song is if i was your vampire by mariyln manson - Hry

Hey man, thank you for this video. It's really nice to be able to play Fable 2 towards the beginning with all my stats maxed.
For those of you with corrupt files: This happened because You're saves were made with a different, later patch. As a result, the corrupted file is not compatable with an older version of Fable 2. Only an idiot wouldn't know that.

Yeah it works. I tried it alright. You don't actually go to the hardrive game memory guys, you highlight hardrive and press A. It takes you to a different screen than if you press A.

this glitch kicks ass nice one
experiense(exp.) will allow you to learn new skill, spell, tricks, abilltys, knowledge ect. The more you got the better, and you can continue to gain more as you go through life and games, thats how you become good at sports, games, tech, yadda, yadda.
Thank you for sharing your opinion... and if you really are comparing the band to Twilight O.o you need to check it out a little bit. Twilight is as low as it gets.
Totally worked... gave me some very weird scars too- like perfectly symmetrical almost tattoo style, all over body and face.

im amazed how people find these out, but im not gonna glitch, i didnt pay 40 quid to glitch and complete in 10 minutes, i wanna see how long it takes me to max out everythign coillect everything, like a true fan/gamer.
@sweetdjdog this does work with the old fable 2 discs but not the "platinum hits" ones the only other way is to make a donation to the temple of light (a very big one) and its like 5 xp for every 100 g and if u do it at the "holy hour" its 5 or 10 for every 1g
Same here. As so Feb/09, if you do the HD maintenance it will corrupt your savegame, Update the game again and the savegame is restored back to normal. It ** MIGHT ** be that if you have the Knothole Island updated then you can't revert back,

either the donation thing or you can do the exp transfer using two controllers. Which is actually the all around better way to max out your character

Works very nicely, and easily, just wish I didnt have to wait to be able to go to oakfield every time i wanna do it on a new character.
U don't have 2 sign 2 xbox live,but u have 2 set the year 2005 before doin' this:
1st.rent sum houses or whatever.
2nd.save.
3rd.quit 2 the dashboard then make the year 2025.
4th.start the game and Continue.
5th.walk around 4 a lil bit then u'll get the money.

All I did to resolve that problem, was complete the current primary quest you're undertaking, then returned to the house. By then, there's a 95% chance that it will let you rest there.

another easy way is if you have 2 controllers. load up your character and when your in the game press start on the 2nd controller it will bring up a screen with your hero and a henchmen (player 2) dont sign in just accept and hop into the game. the henchmen will have the same abilities as your hero. goto the henchmens abilities sell all then goto quit in the pause menu. all xp will transfer over to your hero. if you dont have many abilities its slow at first but you get millions at the end of it

Go to a house with a speed or toughness bonus and when you sleep you get I level faster or stronger. So when you try to discard it you get the exp even though the level stayed increased. Just repeat this till the desired ammount is reached. I hope that helps anyone.

I had the update installed, and i just deleted it now so i could use the glitch and i expected my data to be corrupt but its working fine :S
But did you start the DLC quests?
I did on my accounts and then got rid of update for them to come in and then they got corrupted I think that's the problem with mine.

this is what you have to do to get infinite experience points if you have an Xbox 360 Fable which says Platinum it will not work but if you have a fable which says Xbox Live on the CD it will work that will be it and thank you
So you just sleep in that bed or any bed? then do the glitch or can it work anywhere at any time?

Yes, actually it does work. Me and my two other friends both have Gold Memberships and the glitch worked for all of us. Dont know what you are doing wrong.

same happened to me. you have to make new characters. Thats what I had to do. I almost was the ruler of albion. I had to go to Rookridge and do the quest to get the thing and then I would have owned everything.
Do you have to purchase the first level of Speed or do you obtain it automatically when you buy the house?

The thing isnt re updating. I bought the elite bundle with Halo 3 and Fable 2. I did the perform maitance thing but when I start the game it doesnt ask for an update.
i un-updated it (is that a term? oh well..)

u said ur save got corrupted from the infinite EXP glitch. What was the exact message? Was it...could not load gamesave, because this file has been saved on other downloadable content ?
Also...did any of you have Knothole Island or any DLC (if not the update)? These DLC are known to have fixed a lot of bugs/"unreleased glitches" list.
Please let me know...I am trying to understand how to get it to work myself

@MrDaketa Just Download the updates again and everything will be fine..but u can't do the glitch anymore, atleast u got your saved game back..^^
but sadly not in the movie itself videostealer1 lol...one of the reasons i wanted to see max payne was cause this song made it look kick ass.

Eh on some of my accounts I have a glitch now they havent beat the game yet but I have the dlc and the quest but when I complete knothole is freezing the quest never goes away and I cant continue it.

there are other ways to do this all i did was went on multi player and on the 2nd player delete all stars on abilities and then press b and exit and it will say r u sure exp will be transfered to hero and do that a few time and max urself out =D

I can't get this to work...I cleared my cashe 3 times already, and when I sleep in the bed, it tells me it temporarily increased my physique, but it doesn't. It doesn't actually give me a physique star. Any ideas why it's not working? I am using monster manor in Bowerstone.
if you do the thing that clears your updates it also makes you have to re download anything you downloaded from marketplace. happened to me
Prolly because you have the knothole island dlc or the other thing dlc it doesnt work with that for some reason.

omfg i did that xx lb and rb thing and when i go fable the update thingy doesnt show up and i bought the house and tried the glitch but i didnt work :S pls tell me why it didn't work =)

@Maverick02571 just go to a prouce trader, push right on the right thumbstick, and you can see if items will lower or raise you fat and by how much, as well as other things like purity and morality.
Somehow all of my stats got erased when I joined my brothers game as a merc, so I'm just gonna do this to make my guy uber again.
does it still work if i had already ugraded the speed stat?
technically the glitches are always in the game since the beginning but they just get found late
the "X X LB RB X X" thing will delete all your current updates of all games you have... or only fable's???
