- This is the best money/gold exploit/glitch you can do in fable 2. Originally on the 360 you needed to set your time in the future but on the Xbox one you need to roll it back 100 years. Make sure you are doing this on a hero that has never been exposed to DLC and uninstall all DLC otherwise this wont work.

Doesn’t work with game pass and not with digitally bought game on series x. I can change the date but it won’t let me start up the game unless I connect to the internet first, which resets the date to current time.
It really sucks, especially since I actually paid for the damn thing.
I have a Series S and I can do the glitch. I do not own the game, I have it from Game Pass. Just have the Xbox as a home console and you will not need to be on the internet.
100 years and this man only made $11,000.

I just recently starting playing fable 2 again, so I had to start from scratch😅. I'm suprised that this hack actually works for me, I'm honestly so greatful you decide to actually show how you do the process because man did I messed it up a few times🤣🤣🤣
So you buy property
Shut down xbox
Start it xbox
Change date to earliest date
Start up game
get money throughout the century
Buy more property
Save then quit
Change date back to current date
Shut down xbox again
Start up
Change date again
Start up
And collect money (if it worked)??
Then rinse and repeat?

Thank you for explaining the DLC part in the beginning I was going crazy tryna figure out why I can’t play.
One other thing is that you have to delete your reserved storage for this game if you have made a previous save or else it the game won’t load up

****this glitch does still work on Xbox One S (physical disc) as of 06/21/21**** Also, you do not have to restart the xbox every time you do the glitch! After you did the glitch once, save and exit, go back to the time settings and change it back an additional 100 years (from 1921 to 1821) and repeat after every time you do the glitch.
I just did this with digital version on Xbox one x.

Too bad the money glitch doesn't work for the digital game bc you have to be connected to the internet to play it.
Anyone know why I'm getting an error code when I try to bring the game back up? Says to sign into profile that bought the game but that's my profile
So for those who are using xbone one s or another all digital xbox, I found an exploit! Granted it doesn't get you nearly as much BUT. You can mess around with your time zones. Go all the way back to utc -12, save, then all the way forward to utc +14. You don't need to be offline for this. Like I said not nearly as much but it's a quick way to make several thousand quickly.
Restart xbox in offline mode and you can then change date

On my Xbox one it’s home Xbox but there no option to change the date and time on my Xbox one but you still make gold when not playing so I imagine if I have 100 plus on building I get loads of gold

Renting property and changing the time offline is not new.. You don't need to restart the console and it also doesn't matter if you have DLC installed.
You can do this with the dlcs on btw. And instead of going back and setting the time back to the present you can go back to 1822
Not all copy’s of the game with DLC will work.
Once everything is up to 100 plus if I want my purity to go back up I can always lower it when I get enough money to buy all buildings
If I delete the dlcs to use this money exploit would I be able to re-download them after I got the money and play them on the same save?
Yes. Essentially you just delete dlc, go offline, rollback time, buy stuff, roll Forword time (repeat) then when you go back online you can redownload the dlc. Just make sure you have the desired amount of money before you download the dlc because you can’t exploit this save again after it has interacted with dlc
@@xOneManLegacy i just tried it but even with all the dlcs deleted my xbox one says i have to be logged into xbox live to start the game, so I still can't start the game without an internet connection :/
To play the game offline it has to be a physical copy or a digital copy you own and have the Xbox set as your home Xbox. GamePass versions won’t work so if it says GamePass in the bottom right when you start it it won’t work

I did get it to work for a few runs without setting it as home. But it is recommended that you have it as home or have a disc copy
this no longer works on the new Xbox machines sorry......you cant play any games with dlc offline
& when online your timer is automatically set!
You only need to go forward 1 year. 100 makes no difference and yes it does work with dlc and no you dont have to restart your console every time. Just make sure the date stays when you change it.

Xbox needs to be set as home console to run your digital copies offline
Mine wont even let me open the game while offline, and I own it, not by Game Pass, before anyone mentions that. I restart, and it repeatedly tells me I need to be signed into the account that owns it, which I am.

@xOneManLegacy it is, and always has been since my account has Ultimate, as well as all the digital games. I eventually got it working by not doing the full shutdown, shut off internet, reset, and worked fine. Something with the full shutdown just wasn't allowing it to work.

Ok so I have the dlc for the game and I followed the steps you just did with digital download Xbox one x version of Fable 2 with the internet disconnected and offline. Works. Don't need to delete the dlc, don't need to delete your save or start a new character. Just offline and disconnected then shut down, roll back date, start game, get money. I got 33k.

Maybe? Depends on what your planning on doing with it in Fable 2. If you want to buy up all the properties you should be fine even with the castle.
2023 update in order to change the date on your Xbox you must make sure the account your doing it on is set as your home xbox then go offline and restart your Xbox when you get back on it should give you the option to change the date

If it's giving you the sign-in crap you have to'
A.) Close Fable 2.
B.)Restart XBOX.
C.) Restart Fable 2 dont change the date yet.
D.) When game is at start screen change the date backwards.
E.) IF it don't work, change the date backwards again.
F.) Now it should work and advance time.
G.) Rinse and repeat

Playing on the series s, I tried it without restarting console. Changed the date, started the game, saved, closed game, reset date, restarted game. Works every time for me.

Does it matter which year you buy property in? Whether it's 1920 or 2020?

@@Gmchngr-uw5if did that to me too, switch to offline mode then do a hard shut down, loaded it back up to setting and should be able to switch time now(worked for me^_^)

@@naterose3671 I figured out 3 methods to manipulate money without doing this old glitch that isn't working with new xbox one interface.
Not possible anymore since they updated the Xbox interface in February... Best you can do on gamepass is do the timezones. So frustrating that my Xbox doesn't play discs anymore..

Edit: never mind, it works. So for me it wasn’t working when I went from 2024 back to 1924. I tried it a few times. Then I tried going from 2024 to 2124, loading, then going from 2124 to 2024 and it worked for me going forward, then back. Not back, then forward. Just wanted to add this here in case anyone ran into the same problem
What i do for quick easy money is buy all the weapons in bowerstone old Town and bowerstone market and sell them in Fairfax much bigger profits.. then sleep for 7 days so that the black smiths restock..wash and repeat..make a lot more money with a lot less hassle IMO.. and if you have the Knothole island DLC once you can buy weapons from that shop buy all the 4 slot Master weapons then sell them in Fairfax..make millions easily and is possible to do on any character new or old
Edit: its definitely useful to make the smiths/shop owners like/fear you and also buy the shops/smiths and lower the rent to 60% so the economy gets boosted and they start to stock better/more expensive weapons to buy/sell

I believe mentioned that you either need to own a disc copy or a digital copy that isn’t Game Pass and you’ll need to have your Xbox set as your home Xbox if it’s a digital copy

I had the disc previously, but lost it a few weeks back when I got into a trucking accident, and just not have packed some of my games up when I grabbed a bunch of stuff out of the wreckage. But I started a new file yesterday... and didn't even think about the disc when I started it up until i watched this vid... that's when i discovered the problem...

Someone once told me the first house you get too to rent it out and put on 100 then wait for income and get everything from Gypsies campe and wait for income it’s the easiest do if you wanna be patient with it

They have it set up where its impossible because you HAVE to be online to start the game back up which sets the dates back to real time and date. Game over.
They don’t have it set up like that. If your having that issue it means that you need set your Xbox up as home Xbox and make sure your not using the game pass version of the fane

It doesn't work anymore. If anything, it makes it hard to connect back to wifi or sign in. They have taken away all the exploits without worrying about the other glitches that makes any1s game play trash. If any1 was to start over again they would be investing 100 hours plus in real life to get the gold they want. Fuck that.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong then. Watched your video until the part it mentioned the DLC's would mess it up. So I had to turn back on the wifi to delete the DLC's. Then I shut the wifi back off, but when I tried to launch the game it told me I needed a internet connection. Maybe a full shutdown will solve the problem? I'm not sure though
David Miller if you’ve played on the save that had DLC installed you won’t be able to use it. You’ll have to delete the DLC, Make a save without any DLC, get a bit of gold, save game, disable internet, buy some houses, save game, Quit game, FULL SHUTDOWN in settings, when it starts back up go back to settings and change your date as far back as you can (1920). Start fable 2, load save, collect money, buy houses, save, quit game entirely, set date back to 2020 then start the game again. Load save. Save and quit again so that it remembers its 2020. Change date back to 1920. Load game repeat

@@xOneManLegacy they patched it. Even when you set Xbox as home and offline, the second you change the date, it won’t load the game. I think it’s because you are choosing a date when your game pass has already expired

Let’s check a few things before you try again. 1. You’ll need a digital or disc copy of Fable 2, if it is a digital you’ll need to have your Xbox set as home Xbox.
2. The digital copy can’t be a “Game Pass” Copy. If you start up the game and it says “Game Pass” at the bottom right you won’t be able to do the glitch because the game won’t let you start the game offline.
Copied you exactly and earned 700 gold quicker to do quests
this method is highly dumb as it only works on characters that have not been introduced to dlc . almost everyone has dlc, bc it can be used for free.

If you find a way to make this work with a character that already has DLC installed and played then make a video and start raking in the views, otherwise delete DLC, make a new save, do the exploit then Reinstall it like the rest of us who have been doing this for years
