Fantastic tutorial and thank you for the wonderful pattern
You give the best tutorials! I always prefer to hand-stitch the inner seam-great demo of a ladder stitch. Your tips and techniques can be used on many other projects as well. What could be more satisfying than turning the bag out!
I love the diagonal seam-it really elevates the design! Thank you for the fabulous free Dopp pattern!
Stay well!

Very good instructions very professional I am very happy and iam in a hurry to try it
Hope you enjoy
Very nice. I’ve made these bags with a loose lining and it drives me nuts. Thank you for teaching a better way of making them.
Thanks ☺️
I haven't sewed properly since Dec 21 but feel I need to make a few of these x
Hope you like it. 😄
Great pattern. Thanks for making it free to us.
Thank you so much for the great pattern and the wonderful tutorial without binding!
Quick tip for anyone who might find boxing the corners especially faffy: I found that if I basted one side's corners (say, the exterior) first, it made it a lot easier to manhandle the rest of the bag and easier to work out where each of the interior corners was supposed to line up. I was struggling to figure out which corner went where and which way, so basting first made it much easier to wrestle the lining in a way that made it much more apparent.
Bonus tip: If you're using a heavy interfacing on the exterior like Decovil light, wait until you've joined the two exterior halves, then cut the decovil to fit. Mark out the boxed corners, then trim out 1/4" from all edges. This will ensure that the interfacing is out of the seam allowances for all steps, including the boxed corners.
Thanks for a fantastic pattern and tutorial. I made it a bit harder on myself at points, but the video and the clear instructions really, really helped.
Thanks for these extra tips! So glad to hear you like it 😁
Thank you, Jo, for your help. I’m making a batch of these today 😊
These 2 pouches are totaly epic! Great hit for my Christmas markets.
May I ask what price you sell them for? Particularly the large one. I know it may vary by location, materials, etc... but just to have something to compare to.
Thank you
Thank you for this fabulous free pattern and tutorial! I’m looking forward to exploring more of your designs!
Lauren Mormino recommended your Densa Dopp Kit on her CZcams Channel.
Stay well!

Jo! I just made this! This is the pattern I was trying to remember when I emailed you. Thankfully I printed it way back but it’s not in my account. These are great for Christmas 🤶 gifts 🎁! 1 down, several more to go!
Just what I've been looking for! Thank you so much for the pattern and the tutorial!
Hi Jo thank you soon much for the pattern much appreciated 😊 ☺
Glad you like it 😃
I’ve been planning on making my first boxy bags. Thanks so much for the free pattern and video (and no binding) 😊
You’re welcome 😄
Your tutorial is really very fine, and of high quality. Thank you for caring enough to show your excellent sewing methods. Thank you for the pattern, and tutorial.❤
Another amazing pattern - thank you!
Perfect! Thankyou!
Great pattern and video. I must admit that I do quickly hit waterproof canvas with an iron but I cover it with a Teflon sheet and so far so good.
I’m gonna give that a go next time 😆 excited to see how it goes!
Love this pattern and your demonstration!
Thanks 😃
Great video !
I just love your excellent, succinct videos! You are an amazing teacher!
Thanks ☺️
Hi Jo, ♥️. Thank you so much for another awesome tutorial! I love the pattern so much, that I am cutting out more. Happy New Year to you, Adam, and family.
Glad you like it 😃
Thanks so much for the tutorial and pattern. Love your videos.
I wanted to ask: If you were to put a mesh pocket in the lining, where would you place it, how far from the top and how far down?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

@@CountryCowDesigns oh I see, I didn't know. I hv to pay more attention lol. Ok next time I'll be one of the first 😉
Is there a way to scale the sizes to make an in between size?
Hi Giulia, I’ve just emailed you back 👍
I’ve never heard of Dopp kit. But I guess it means shaving kit or toiletry bag.
It comes from the name of the leather craftsman who first came up with the basic design in 1919… according to an internet search
Hi. Where is the pattern for the dopp kits please?
It’s on our website countrycowdesigns.com/product/densa/

Hope you all enjoy this one! 😃The video was recorded a little while ago hence the shorter hair 😂
Where can I ask questions? The lining pattern for the large bag confuses me because it doesn't equal the size of the bag...am I supposed to double it? That doesn't seem right either. I feel dumb. 🤷
