❤When I first got married I had no car and when I got pregnant, my auntie who was a waitress at Denny’s had been saving her tips for a couple of years. She used her tips to buy me a nice used car so I wouldn’t be struggling for my OB appointments. I will never forget that❤😢
I started mine January 1999. Fell on hard times and had to buss it open October 2014 & it was 3/4 full. After 3hrs of counting, I had $11,277!! I couldn't believe it & it helped me tremendously that year
My grandpa started one of these when i was born and everyday he came home and emptied and change and loose 1 or 5 dollars bills in there and occasionally threw in the random big bill... He gave it to me at 25 and it had $22,843 in it and my sisters was done by my granny and hers had about $18,700 ... I sure miss my Nana and Papa ❤❤❤❤❤
My mom did this for me as a little kid and I ended up having close to 700 bucks in it. It was just assorted change, no bills. But it was pretty cool watching it fill up over the years.
I was saving for a year for my granddaughter and i had,, putting $1,,5,,10,,20,,50,,@nd sometimes 100,,..also coins..And i have $7,162,45 cents...My daughter buy a car and took her to ""DISNEYLAND""..IT WAS GREAT AND WONDERFUL..❤💯

Now a days we can't save money for yrs because we don't know when gov. Will ban which currency ..
That’s beautiful👍🏽👍🏽 Shows me my lack of financial self discipline.

Pays better interest than the damned banks !
cat went and told his friend we got food and litter for months.😂
I realize now as a single military veteran to even be able to put a penny in a jar and be able to come back to it is a privilege.
It's amazing how much u can save if u put ur soul in it instead of spending it on stupid things
The most I ever saved was about $40.00.I think it’s time to start back.
I saved nothing but quarters, dimes and nickels and added 1$ bills till I filled up a 5 gallon jug. Took 5 years.

Saving $18k in five years is really good. Keep it up.
I did that when I was a bartender in my twenties!! Over $900 😊 Thanks for the Memories
Put $5s & $10s when possible. Great saving strategy for sure👍
The discipline that I need ❤
Every year I throw the coins I have on me at the end of each day in a jar then cash them up for Christmas.
Thats one hell of a savings jar! My broke ass would of been slicing that thing open way before it got that full 😂
