It's nice to see someone use a detector that most anyone can afford. I dig EVERY signal anyhow so a $600 detector over a $150 detector is a moot point for most.
It's a hobby - not a business. But that's just how I look at it.

Hey A.E., I still have my old Bounty Hunter big bud, and it gets fooled, too. Watching you makes me want to bring out the old antique, and see what I can find. My problem is no pin pointer plus I'm legally blind. Then again, I've detecred at nught - just use the sense of touch to find those buried goodies. ;)

I am impatient. I'm waiting for my at Gold, so I went and bought a bounty hunter pioneer for 89 bucks. Supposedly, you can adjust it so it won't pick up iron. Just went out for a couple hours down by the river. I found one penny one dime a turd load of iron. I think the best way to run it is all metal just dig everything I can get it to where it won't pick up iron but then my gold ring won't show. I don't want to miss rings. And I don't think there's any way to avoid those old style beer tabs. Tried running it in the tone mode but it makes the gold sound the same as the iron so I have no idea hopefully the at Gold will be a little better and a little easier to adjust

Try a gold ring and a pull tab and use the notch and see if you can notch out pull tabs but still detect the ring. I have the BH Pioneer 202 and it`s a really fun coin detector for parks, yards, and tot lots.

the bounty Hunter is great for silver. I have Garrett and bounty hunter. compared a signal using both detectors. Garrett missed the Timex watch nine inches. Garrett gave me no signal. I've found a little girls silver ring nine inches deep. faint signal. bounty hunter needs to have motion over Target or you won't get signal. try going over Target in different directions. if your finding nickels your doing it right. nickels and gold same signal.

I recommend these detectors if you're a trash collector and want to clean up parks and beaches. Because that's all you'll find with them. Can't say enough about the trash finding ability.

FAAAAR from "triggered". . . . Haa this petty attempt at insults is very humorous.
Grown ups take care of things, not selfishly ignoring the common place (less-than) common sense mentality of if I can tear things up-I WILL!! Because who is gnna stop me!!!!Waaaaa!!
      I don't WANNAAA put my shopping in the corral-waaaaa. . . . .
“Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” C.S. Lewis.
      . @ExploringAlabama
& by the way, I watch Bounty Hunter vids since that is what I have/use.
Sad that yours is such a poor example of how to take care of our hobby, regardless of skill level, equipment or experience.
-if it is "private property" (YOURS"??), shouldn't THAT be reason enough to care more about it.
Thanks for playing, and see ya 'round-
