Cherokee interior is better then the Bentley's Bentayga at 1/10 the cost! Plus, it got a lot more prestige too!

Just bought a new 2019 cherokee latitude plus with 6 cyl. We traded in our old 2016 Jeep cherokee latitude (they didn't make a plus back then). What I find odd; we lost our 8.4" screen (offered in the old latitude) but they make you buy limited to get that option now. The front passenger seat doesn't fold flat anymore (which was very handy for changing our infants diaper on) and the storage in the seat itself is now gone. We gained more than we lost, but those changes seem a bit odd.

Froggey gross. Never thought people changed dirty diapers on the back of the seat. This is why I only purchase new cars. People do some nasty shit in their cars

Jeep played it smart. The 'Avant gaurde' model sold just shy of a million US/Canada in 50 months on sale. The last 9 months sales slowed down. The refresh model set a monthly record in March. So all the people who hated the design now have a 'regular' look to buy, and those million who wanted the different look got what they wanted. Hopefully the return leasers from 3 years ago will take to the new one too.

Where can you find information about the steel upgrades mentioned by Rich in the video? This is the first time I have heard of this change.

Why not a mild hybrid? Just buy it from Magna and glue it on there

Love the new look especially the interior and the 2.0 turbo is a beast. Will get one when lease is up.

Interior is ever so slightly changed and the new 20T engine is not proven yet.

Hi John, how do you know that people are hybrid-averse because of the image? I would think that only applies to dedicated models like the Prius. For mainstream models, wouldn't it be reasonable to consider the time to breakeven and compromise in cargo space? Except for the new Accord and Camry hybrids, you lose significant trunk space and the pass-thru. That would certainly steer me away even if the price premium can be recovered in 3-5 years.

Was it Sandy Monroe's opinion that Model 3's were being built at a loss. Did he ever come up with a breakdown for cost per unit?

Love keeps imaginative designs and ideas but their spotty reliability is my biggest issue with the brand and Fiat Chrysler autogroup. Great engines but terrible transmissions with rough shifts.

I believe that Auto makers are convinced there will be a gasoline shortage soon. They don't want to build EV's. But between government demands for clean cars and the high cost of gasoline in the near future. They need to learn to build them cheaply, and soon
