Ездил я как-то давно по этой дороге. Дело было в конце сентября. Мне предлагали помощь местного водителя-но я легкомысленно отказался,т.к. уже штурмовал к тому времени и швейцарский серпантин,и крымский,и сочинский... Не сказать,чтоб пожалел о своём решении-но экстрима хватило по самое не хочу :))) Хорошо ещё был на служебном Дискавери с полным приводом-а то бы нахлебался ещё больше. Наверху было достаточно холодно-аж пришлось поверх жилетки одеть форменную парку и форменный берет на голову...помню,как встречавшиеся на дороге патрули полиции,спасателей и военных отдавали мне честь :))) Так что желающим пощекотать нервы-могу посоветовать эту трассу. Единственное-нужно иметь крепкую голову,а то некоторых сильно укачивает. Виды там,конечно,очень красивые...но,чтобы ими любоваться в движении,за рулём-нужен хороший опыт,а то поворот можно свободно проворонить,а уж "тёщиных языков" там полный комплект :)))
Это вы очень точно описали) мы летом вернемся. Хочу увидеть другой Трансфагараш

The weather was such a let down for you, normally there would have been spectacular scenery. The ice house was something very special, I should imagine very expensive to have a room there. We holidayed in that area many years ago, in a small clearing above Brasov. Brilliant holiday, brown bears came to the hotel at night from the forests.
This video made it look like you and Taya had somehow found your way into one of the "Frozen" movies or something! 😆As always, sending you all Blessings, Well Wishes, and Hugs from America!

Ice Hotel, gondolas and Mother Nature. Exhilarating! Bet everyone enjoyed this trip.
I will comment tomorrow. I just have an advice to drive in the mountains with an automatic transmission (in the case you don't know). Use the manual selection of gears when you drive downwards. Your brake pads and brake discs will thank you with a longer livetime. But also upwards it's helpful to use the most matching gear because it saves fuel.

Alisa needs some more toys 😄 Thank you for making the experience for us that it's not a good idea to visit it on a weekend 😁When you said that you searched the lake and did not know that you stood on it I was remained of the movie "Godzilla": "Now where is the footprint?"-"You are in it!" 😆The ice hotel is really beautiful and cosy. I can imagine to spend a night there. The views at the environments must be great in good weather. You never can foresee it on mountains, so don't be sad. The cable railway is a living reminder of the Ceaucescu period 🙄

A shame the visibility was so poor after such a long wait!- the photos you showed of summer proved how beautiful it really is. The ice hotel was impressive though, but looked a bit slippy and treacherous! I wonder how it is warm but the ice doesn't melt. I think I would always need a hot drink and I would like to visit there but not to stay!

Hey Lovely Yuliya Sweet Beautiful Taya and Alice Looks like today will be a cold place but a fabulous day trip to Transfagarasan. Yes! get as much sleep as you can get. Even if its on the bus. Alice or Taya must of been sleeping to for you to get any rest when there together. Taya every time I see her she look like she grew an inch or two. Taya looks tired. Liya really count Dracula don't get to close he loves to bite the necks of beautiful women be careful. Lol I see you left the Boss home. Alice is two hands full. No toys Taya. Taya sees a store she wants something because she thinks she needs it. Or for Alice. Save mommies money today. Taya! Liya if you had Alice with you it would still been three hours to get on the cable car BUT' it would of felled like one hour because time flies when she's around. I Love that Girl! Beautiful surroundings. Even on a rainy foggy day. The lake was right under your feet with all that snow and ice who would think you are standing right on the lake. So surreal. Taya is ready to go to bed on the ice bed take a nap you and MOM They even supply the pillows to lay down on. do they offer room service if you stay there. lol That's an awesome place to visit. Taya don't sit to long you will freeze your tushie on that chair. lol Liya thanks for taking us all to these amazing places. See you n the next video. Спасибо! Про поезд я слышала, что он идет из Киева в Бухарест, около 1500 грн стоимость.. Мы на машине туда-обратно обычно. Автобус в среднем от 1700 грн..
