It's a hard one but, Wonderland is defo my favourite album. Bought this 09/11/01. I remember a mate and I were driving back from picking up our plane tickets to India and had the album blasting in the car. Never knew about it till back at work. Our trip with work was postponed till Jan 02. So we were able too see The Charlatans live in Glasgow in December! Every cloud and all that!
Who made you the the Lord of music? This is garbage and I love the Charlatans. This is one of there worst songs. So i must not know good music then lol. Get a life you sad, sad little geek.
@@iamthewalruscuckookachoo1372 You are the one who is sad and really pathetic actually. You're replying to a comment i made 4 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you think it's one of their worst songs then so be it but why take it so personally i wasn't really talking about the song i was talking about the BAND itself being underrated and their music overall (i know a few people who don't like their music overall and my comment about people not knowing great music even if it slapped them across the face was aimed at them) including this song......and The Charlatans are underrated there wasn't even a 20th anniversary celebration or any articles written for their album Tellin' Stories in 2017............... .
What a gem of a tune and every fuck wrote them off as Roses wanna bees but who had the last laugh and forget oasis, blur etc.. The Charaltans write better tunes and Tim's lyrics are up there with any songwriter. Best band I've seen live, 5 times and festivals and when Tellin Stories came out it, got played over n over, not one bad tune on there. Rip Rob and Jon. Rob were the Hammond master n Jon weren't no slouch on the drums. New single is up there can't wait for the new album
Writing style is changing as Rob used to write majority of tunes. But this was done after his death n i think there writing some really good tunes, but can't beat the whole of Tellin Stories... Tim needs a Re-think about his blonde bob, enoughs enough I think!!!
I got that cd-single when I was in ye olde London Town in 02,it didn't come out in the states, not quite sure if the album did either, hum(but I think that it did, quite possibly)?
I found you I turned you in to America I believe in you Telling you The kind of mind Running wild I will do it with you I will do it without you Oh! my my my come dry your eyes There's only one kind of mind who truly satisfies Love is the key Love is the key I will sacrifice my soul to free you from misery Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key Come feed me Come feed me with your attitude You lucky creature A lady The kind of mind Can truly satisfy I will do it with you I will do it without you Oh! my my my come dry your eyes There's only one kind of mind who truly satisfies Love is the key Love is the key I will sacrifice my soul to free you from misery Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key I can feel with you I can feel with you Like a wandering star a hungry boy will get you One kind of mind Will truly satisfy You lucky creature you! miss you I found you I turned you in to a miracle I believe in you Telling you Oh! my my my come dry your eyes There's only one kind of mind who truly satisfies Love is the key Love is the key I will sacrifice my soul to free you from misery Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key Love is the key
I dont "get" this song. I am a genuine fan of the band* but this is a very average song. I don't get Weirdo either. *Seen them live on too many occasions to accurately give a number/own the albums/own a dozen or so singles/own at least 3 t-shirts. Got 2 dvds. So i am not a troll. These are in my top 2 alltime bands. I just don't get this song. Its alright but not in their top 10, 20, 30 maybe 40 songs.
This is song is just timeless perhaps their best song along side with " north country boy" another classic. Whoever did they marketing got it all wrong about this amazing band. They could have been much bigger at the time .
The most underrated album of all time.
And one of the most underrated bands.
The charlatans are the soundtrack to me watching my daughter grow up. She's just turned 23. I fuckin love life
Wonderland is a gem of an album

One of the few good songs these guys recorded
Love is the key and The Charlatans the key to understand!
Thanx
One of those under-rated Charlatans songs, how the hell does this only have 132K views? Should be 5M!
Most underrated song on earth.

That square with the cross through it..

OMG!
Lol
Sum stonesy(as in rolling)swagger-funk,DIG?
I'm more a rock fan at heart but I thought the charlatans along with OCS and the Seahorses etc were fantastic.
Got on promo before went cali. Lovely
The bassline is like 'Acquiesce' by Oasis at times.
Hope they credited Curtis Mayfield for nicking If there's a hell below. Even nicked his falsetto
They've stolen from everyone. From Deep Purple, The Byrds, Pink Floyd, and Lennon. I'm surprised they've gotten away with so much of it
13 guys lost their keys.
No todo era oasis y blur avia mas bandas chidas !
I got that cd-single when I was in ye olde London Town in 02,it didn't come out in the states, not quite sure if the album did either, hum(but I think that it did, quite possibly)?
John Hobley II it was released on 9/11 in the States

Who is the smokin' hot babe?
thirsty
Anyone know how you can listen to tunes without having to put up with these fucking annyoing 20 sec adverts?
Great track, unsure about the need for the 2nd vocalist
She was the girlfriend of the bands manager or video director or something like that
Aping Mick Jaggar but like it
boring video, considering what a great song this is.
3,585 views... Is this a fucking joke?

The lead vocal is piss-poor. a lost opportunity. Somebody should cover it and give it some bollocks.
Meh. They had one good song and this isn't it.
