Being a ref must be one of the hardest jobs. When you call a foul with under 5 seconds left people say you should swallow your whistle in those moments. When you do, they say you missed a decisive call. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
Stop it with the what if Joel Embiid was healthy BS! What if Julius Randle was healthy and abusing Oubre and Harris, drawing double teams, and opening up driving lanes for Brunson? What if? If you're on the floor, you're good to go. No excuses from the Knicks! FOH.
But don’t mention the push off before that. Let the game play and take what the refs give you. Simple as that. Sometimes shit just goes in your favor and sometimes it doesn’t. Refs are letting physicality play on in the playoffs, it is just officiated differently in the post season. Knew where O.G was and knew where Dante was going to be shows you well prepared team. THAT IS COACHING AND CULTURE. Heartinstine got that last block because they knew what play they were going to run and they were prepared. One team played as a team and executed the other made a bunch of horrible mistakes. Because they were scared and not prepared. From situational awareness from the timeouts to the inbounds play. To flopping. To not covering the ball once the flop didn't work. That's what happened you are getting out played by a team who out works you. Everyone is gassing yall like you guys are the better team but yall arnt. It is not ok at all, however, to completely ignore the fact that the sixers were guarding our inbounds passes just like that the majority of the game and that isn’t mentioned in tandem with the former.
