Really love how the information and visuals that this contains shows the actual components and specifies the reasoning of the mechanisms! Providing not just some vague descriptions or illustrations, but actual useable knowledge
Vinyl record players literally use the same technology. Found out when i was renovating an old SONY record player from late 70s. The bearing is a tube, plugged by piece of leather packed with lube and you stick the plates trough pin to the greasy hole. You can adjust the height by adding or removing lube.
Highest production value of any short I have ever seen. Even if it’s made from footage from a long form video it’s still the most epic short I have ever seen.
Super Lube makes grease for lots of industrial applications as well. It's frequently supplied for installation of high speed doors like Rite Hite's Fastrax series for protecting the radials and upper track as the plastic guides move through the track, lowering friction to reduce the risk of jamming or binding.
I'm a camera assistant, can tell you that the O'Connor fluid heads are still the best in the world for heavy cinema camera setups. For the heaviest ones at >25kg, I don't think there's any competition, O'Connor is the only one.
I love how eventually were getting to the point (or arguably, we have gotten to it) where we have now completely emulated how our eyes stabilize our vision, automatically, and with our brain doing a lot of shortcuts and unconscious "editing."
As a locksmith I can also say that the Locksmith industry also runs on this stuff, If your keys ever stop working just spray the aerosol version in it and it should usually fix it
Robert Eric Miller, an Australian engineer from Sydney, invented the fluid head for motion picture cameras for which he was granted an Australian patent in 1946 and US patent in 1949. He founded Miller Camera Support Equipment in 1954, manufacturing fluid heads and tripods.
ultra high quality editing
Yea I was about to say that. All the animation and stuff is really cool
i've seen many editing styles like this one, could be a content factory or just the same editor

you're a god send thank you
This is some crazy good production quality for such a small channel
This is probably the best thing I've ever seen on shorts, fantastic explaination and production!
This is the first video I see on this channel, and I usually don’t subscribe but the editing and the effort put into it was worth it
Bruh😲 this is groundbreaking quality of production writing and editing!
Love the amazing, high quality cinematography. Very underrated !
I've been using fluid heads for over 10 years, and this is the first time I've ever had the inner mechanics actually explained to me
This channel is mega underrated! The video editing is better than like 90% of big creators.
Woah!! Whats the song name in the background? It’s such a banger
bro when i saw 'super lube' i thought bro was talkng bout a *_very different_* industry 💀
Now that is how you make a short! God damn, it's a work of art.
This editing style and line delivery makes it feel like I'm starting the video in the middle instead of the start
Why is the video production so good??
this is the coolest youtube short of all time

Highest production value of any short I have ever seen. Even if it’s made from footage from a long form video it’s still the most epic short I have ever seen.
This is what I'd like to call a crisp video. Nicely done!

Thanks so much Gael!
wow this brought me back to chase vs everything
I just realized the commercial advertisement film industry has been perfecting shorts for decades - on TV
The fluid head was invented by Robert Miller and patented in 1946; 6 years before O’Conner started making fluid heads as a side gig in 1952.
Yo the editing is so smoooth
Holy shit this editing is insane
This video is too good to be real , from the perfect edits to the hottest living guy
I rarely like shorts, better yet, subscribe people through shorts but this became an exception!

If your keys ever stop working just spray the aerosol version in it and it should usually fix it

Fluid edit for the fluid head🔥🔥❤

Gaddamn. such aesthetic. much epic
this editing is top tier and unmatched tbh
I use that stuff almost daily to lubricate the inside of hoses so they can be removed from the barb easier when it needs to be replaced.
I thought this was going to be about super lube! Granted, the editing is slick. It would be even slicker with more Super Lube though!
Bro, this is so good i thought it was an ad bro
Your video is really interesting for some reason
Be happy knowing you have some of the best editing I’ve seen. Hope this blows tf up
Hey man the editing is fabulous. As an editor, I really commend the scene composition and transitions.

I have never seen this channel or the man who said "behind smooth shots" before, but he was very handsome, and now I must rest.
This is SO COOL. I love the editing here. It's a shame @youtube won't show up here.
So much work in that 40 seconds
Dude this video is so high quality❤ love it. The first shot is done in ai right? Where he sits on the bench in the garden
Wow what amazing filming! I love it! 👏👏👏
This editing is phenomenal. Love the low frame rate animation style, and the graphical system.
I’m pretty sure the dog is a great cinematographer thank you very much
I use the same lubricant to install ultrasonic flow meters. It helps couple the sensor to the pipe for a proper reading.
That ending was smooth af!
omg is this chase vs everything? it's been so long mate
we all deserve some fluid head.
Great video guys!
As a creative, never have i ever subscribed and liked a video sa fast.
