This looks great. A stray kitten with no mother has taken up residence in our neighborhood with lots of dogs that run around looking for cats to kill. It's hard trying to figure out a humane way to catch it while it's still young enough to be domesticated.
I mean, it's pretty evident you place it at a high tension point to snap and *keep* the door closed... You'll have to figure out where the right placement is on your trap yourself.

It definitely works. I caught the neighbors dog, and 5 kittens and one mama. We found them all a good home and ended up keeping one kitten
I Fred some string through the door so I just pull same as yr but no alastic
