Interactive environment has been much needed is every game especially the Conan and Atlas etc survival type games. And being able to dig and build down as well as up is good to see. Any time you can build in a way where people are forced to use doors and go through your layers of defence instead of unrealistically acting as if your walls are made of paper, is a good thing lol castles were built for a reason and it is good to see some changes in games that are forcing people to have to attack the way you realistically would have to and making defences actually worth what they very realistically are.
That's a playlist of all of NP atlas stuff lol it's good for laughs when you are having a crappy week.

If you go all the way down to the Terrain line, you can remove/add without first building a block. Just highlight the block you want removed and right click.

I don't normally play many survival games but the combination of RPG elements and the big open world sold me on it. I am also into single player only and this game plays well as a SP game so far.
I have managed to get my flame up to level 3. at my main vase. I'd like to see it carry over into all of the flame alters I build but it doesn't. Each new Flame you put down is a level 1. If I ever want to move the initial base, I will lose a lot of stuff.
I wonder if children in China, while digging holes, say they're digging to somewhere, and if so, where do they imagine they're digging to?
You can actually bypass some dungeon puzzles by digging through a wall or breaking down a locked door.

Howdy Nick, I figured out that you can use the extra flame to temp place and depot then pick it up and resume. Also I can put down 4 or 5 of them now which can be quite handy
Another day, new science: When you upgrade the bed at the main base the old one can be placed into inventory, so then if you head out to a mission throw down a flame and the old bed then you have a makeshift fob and fast travel depot
I am currently play this game and my flame level is at lvl 2 and lvl 3 is 120x120x120 and i can have 4 flame altars at lvl 2 with 6 at lvl 3
