Yeah I’ve been cooking since I was 16 years old, so about 6 years. I spent half of that time in management as well so I have some well rounded experience in the kitchen. I’ve personally never seen cooks so careless in my life like seen on this show. Even your average burnt out line cook cares more about food and the customer than people like this. Honestly, it’s more common for cooks to be extremely prideful, almost arrogant about their skills. Most I know would be extremely embarrassed if they made somebody sick

Culinary Student here! Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the chef drank alcohol at around 0:21 I can't recall if this is explicitly stated to be against health and safety guidelines, but given that a chef will often work with knives and hot surfaces/objects I'd assume it is in fact a breach of safety protocol, not to mention the fact that alcohol clouds judgement and slows your reaction time, which can affect your cooking skills
I'll be honest, this sounded nitpicky at first, but yeah a chef should really be completely sober on the job. Knife and fire dangers aside, the last thing I would want is a drunk chef, that's how you get food poisoning. Lol
