Tony, your demonstrations are the best and very helpful, to say the least. Also, the quality of the sound of your demonstrations brings justice to such beautiful Yamaha and other brands' instruments. Thank you for your commitment to the quality of the information given.

Dear Tony, thank you very much indeed again for this superb presentation. May I ask you a question. If you compare the action of the Yamaha CLP795 GP and the action of the Kawai Novus 10S which is more realistic. And the sound if you compare them both? Thank you for you statement. Best regards, Kai

I'm not a piano player, but am intrigued by the concept of a digital grand piano. I always thought the point of a grand piano is its superior acoustic sound quality, whereas the sound of an electric piano is shaped digitally, by its circuits and settings. How long have dgp's been around?

Hey, great review! I have seen some other reviews of the CLP795GP and one thing I have noticed is than no one plays examples of the organ sounds. Is this to not offend Hammond puritans? :) I live in Norway, (used to live in Banstead actually, not far from Reigate), and there is no supplier that has this model in shop - closest is Denmark. I am buying this piano no matter what, but it would have been nice til hear the organ capabilities...

If it’s in question make sure you deal with it under warranty. Ideally there is a technician that can come to your home. Might need to contact a few large music stores as well as the one you bought it. These technicians are hard to come by and electronic instrument repair tend to have long wait times.

I like how this is always in tune but eventually this will be going to the trash when it’s no longer repairable, if that day comes. My guess is you could get 20 years out of it but eventually parts might not be available.
