This is essentially a Magic Square figure, they even sell it on their site. I think it's a collaboration. That said, I am only buying Newage now as I am not a fan of MS plastic. For this character I am going out of Legends scale and bought the Fans Hobby version since I assumed no one would make God Masterforce in this scale. I hope Newage tackles it at some point, but maybe this line will continue.

I got mine just now, and from their official transforming video found this one, because the official video did not show how to store the missile in bird mode, and you seemed to have figured it out.
As far as storing the engines, in vehicle mode, you can just about fit the red one in the small compartment below the arm/behind the bird mode leg flap, there is enough space to fit the red one there, and the winged one can store below the missile. In bird mode, his backpack is empty, so just chuck them both to rattle in there so you wont lose em.

kind of a bummer that they didn't come up with a more satisfying solution for the powermaster engines, but this still looks great and i plan to snag one

Just received the painted version. Highly recommend you get it if you liked the original - looks and feels just great. The price is practically same as the former, so way below NA. Wish MS did all of theirs like this from the start.

I wanted to buy it but can't get past the conundrum of either having a miscolored back of the vehicle mode or miscolored wings. Also I don't like the segementation of the wings due to having them be articulated. And I prefer the more toy accurate headsculpt here.
Whyle it's cool that Fanshobby is producing these Masterforce figures what I really want is an MP Doubledealer.
I just wish we could get a Leader class version of this same figure, just upscaled.

Never Thought we would get a Legends Scaled Double Dealer and with both Powermasters to boot!! It gives me hope that maybe we will get an Overlord with both Powermasters and maybe the rest of the Powermasters in some way shape or form!! Great review!!

I find it both interesting and a little disappointing at the incestuous relationship these companies have. Sometimes feels like a false sense of competition. This does look like a very cool triple changer, gonna have to get one. Nice review.

i don't now the ins and outs of their relationships, but it may help to look at them as divisions of a larger corporation that focus on different product aspects. like how car companies share engineering but spread the products around depending on if it's luxury (Cadillac), trucks (GMC), passenger vehicles (Chevrolet), etc.
none of this is transparent though, so it may be wishful thinking on my part
Why do you care? we get the figures we want, they get the money they want, no need to dig into it any more than that just because designers do work for other companies.
@@symbiote1982pk simply put, competition will typically drive down prices and drive up quality. Designers working for different or multiple companies doesn't bother but companies pretending to compete does.
design is nice, but thats all the positive I have to say about it - between the MS fondant former plastic, hollow parts, minimal paint and no storage for the bulging powermasters, I will pass. as a NewAge collector, I just cant stand the nylon plastic on MS bots. maybe MFT will knock this off using better materials, or ideally NA will do their own eventually
