Okay so there's way more discourse on this video than I thought there'd be so let me just talk a little bit on my take of the whole Todoroki family situation. Hopefully this clears things up and I'm more than happy to discuss this stuff with you guys.
So first of all, all four of the Todoroki kids were abused. This isn't really up for debate. Just because Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Touya weren't slapped around like Shoto doesn't mean they didn't endure neglect and emotional abuse from Endeavor. Fuyumi is seen in a panel holding Natsuo close and holding her hand on his ear to try and keep him from hearing Rei and Enji fight. She tried to distract Touya from training his quirk and getting worse by getting him to come play outside with her and Natsuo and even tried telling him when she was just a toddler that she didn't like when Touya got hurt (which, yes, Touya responded with "girls wouldn't understand" but that doesn't mean he's a misogynist. Kids are very opinionated when it comes to boys vs girls and Touya had a big powerful man in his life who he looked up to so obviously when he was little he would think that boys are stronger, not to mention how passive his own mother is in their childhood).
Fuyumi wants a happy family. I was psychologically and emotionally abused as a kid. I was protective over my little brother. Yes, I did hope that my parents would stay together and we'd be happy but life doesn't turn out that way. She's not an abuse apologist to see Endeavor actually trying to be a better dad (which in the manga, he is, even though I know I personally wouldn't be able to forgive him) and wanting her brothers to forgive and forget. That's easy for some people but very difficult for others.
Touya was abused. He was told he could be something only to find out that he couldn't no matter how hard he tried. And he TRIED. Enji told him how powerful his fire was and that he could be the number one hero, surpassing Endeavor himself. So when Endeavor found out that Touya's quirk hurt him, he just stopped training him, thinking the kid would get the hint. Touya had it in his mind that he was born to be a hero so if he can't, why was he even born? So when he was continually yelled at for using his quirk and ignored once Shoto was born, any kid would become hateful and resentful. But a sad backstory and bad childhood doesn't excuse him becoming a villain.
Which comes to this video I made. Endeavor's past absolutely should've been brought to light. But to the authorities, not to the entire world out of the blue. Endeavor deserved to be exposed. Hands down. But the way Dabi did it brings all his siblings down with Endeavor. Which, in Dabi's currently twisted mind, is a good thing.
Fuyumi wants a happy family. They were starting to heal. They'd mourned Touya's death years ago. And now Touya is back, as a villain who's murdered countless people and exposed their family issue to the entire public. Shoto wants to be a hero who makes people feel at ease and now he'll forever be known as a villain's younger brother and the victim of child abuse under a top hero.
I made this video through Fuyumi's perspective. She has a right to be mad at her brother for faking his death and running away while the family still suffered only to resurface now to bring the family back into ruin. And Dabi has a right to see the man who brought him into this world to see his life crumble. But Natsuo and Shoto shouldn't have to suffer more.
It's a complicated issue and I understand every side but please don't call me or anyone else here abuse apologists and also please don't think it's okay to devote your life to revenge and be a bad person just because you were abused.

I think it hurts more the way Fuyumi said those words to Touya when you realize that Touya had sent a villain to kidnap Natsuo and had physically burned and hurt Shoto. So it's not just what Touya did to Endeavor. It's what he did to Natsuo and Shoto, lashing out and hurting them in his path of destruction.
He even wanted and plotted to kill shoto.
Yep. His plan A was to kill his little brother as soon as he became an established hero just to hurt his *father*.
Dabi is beyond saving rn, in his twisted mind anything goes just to get back at his father, even killing his own siblings. Even during the reveal chapter as he was struggling with Shoto, he absolutely looked like someone who was more than happy to end it all right there, his own life alongside Shoto's, right in front of Enji's eyes. If Enji hadn't passed out I think Toya would've gone for the suicide kill on himself and his brother, cementing Enji's image as the broken man who abused his family until one of his sons killed their brother alongside himself.
There will not be a redemption for Toya Imo. The best ending I can see for him is either death, or losing his quirk and being locked into a mental ward and MAYBE with the help of doctors try to chip away at his insanity a bit.
Enji was a horrible person and a horrible father, but he wasn't insane and in his job he was the top hero who did save countless lives, the sad irony is just that he wasn't a hero to his family.
Touya on the other hand killed dozens of people, dozens of *innocents*, and tried killing his brother on multiple accounts. Enji is a past abuser. Touya is a terrorist. Abuse hits closer to home for everyone, but Touya, regardless of what drove him to insanity and his villainy, is the bigger monster in the end. Which is also a sad irony. Touya was a creation of his upbringing yes, however as an adult his choices are his own. He chose to take revenge on his father by becoming a villain, a terrorist. He wants to bring his dad and family down, but in the process he became *worse than his father*.
If we could give him a few moments of sanity, I'd have one question for him. "Was it truly worth it?". I def think that it's also a low key cautionary tale. You don't have to forgive your abuser even if they HAVE changed. Natsu isn't forgiving him. But he focuses his trauma and his experience into helping other people even without becoming a hero, so is Fuyumi. Healthcare and Teaching respectively, they both chose their fields so they can help others because they couldn't help their brother and mother as kids. Touya? Touya chose murder.
Touya is the tale that even if you can't forgive your abuser no matter how much they change, if you are not careful you can still end up destroying yourself. You can hate your abuser. You can not forgive them. Those are all valid. You can even go to the authorities to get their due charge. But Touya did none of that. Touya instead destroyed his body, his mind, and his family's life along countless other families' lives, just to get back at one person. He isn't in the right. Touya is the example that past trauma can only explain your behaviour. It never justifies it.

Fumuyi is literally the best sister. She is open-minded and looks towards the future. She moves forward and doesn’t live in the past.
She keep the entire family together.
She did ignore how uncomfortable her little brothers were about her insistence to forgive their abusive father and came to regret that, though.
I'm sorry I'm sure she's a good person but as an older sister I cannot agree with how she continues to defend that asshole. He traumatized her siblings and for me my siblings come first, if my father ever treated them that way he would never hear the end of it from me till I moved out.
@@literaltrash5421 yes. Fuyumi did ask for Natsu and Shoto to forgive Endeavor. She didn’t force them. She knows what happened. She wants to give Endeavor a chance. Even Rei was willing to accept Endeavor’s apology. If you noticed she regrets not being their for Touya. She lets her brothers be their own people. Whether they can accept Endeavor back into their lives. All she wants is her family together. She is the only Todoroki willing to notice that Endeavor is changing. He is communicating with people. Trying to make amends with his sons. Natsu still doesn’t fully accept him. Shoto is allowing to work with his dad for the sake of being a hero. Endeavor takes the hate and has accept that he was a hero that made his son a villain. The hero society doesn’t know if they want to trust Endeavor and the rest of the heros because of the corruption It is not us the readers the place to accept Endeavor. The readers can hate him all they want, but we all need to realize Endeavor is changing. We all can’t continue to live in the past. Endeavor is a great example of a god awful human becoming a better person. Change is good and this is the change society in the BNHA universe and our society needs.
@@calipupcorn3886 I think that it is pretty stated by the author, Deku and Endeavor himself that neither of his children or wife should forgive him at all. There were even in-universe reporters who realized that his horrible actions (and other heroes') caused the horrible villains and that he should receive punishment after the current emergency is completed. Fuck, the reason he even changed was that he received support, something Touya never received and resulted in Dabi.
Let's be honest, Fuyumi should be recognized as a strong female character. She lived throughout that horrifying childhood trying to help her brothers, only to find out that the eldest passed away. She is literally the only person holding the family image together and she never once complained because she wanted her brothers to be happy. She has a heart of gold if she is willing to give her father a chance and then Dabi comes and basically ruins everything she tried to do to build their family and hold the image.

Also she went into teaching for similar reasons as Natsu went into medicine. They both feel responsible for not being able to help Shoto and their mother, so they gravitated towards fields that allow them to make a difference and help others. Fuyumi would be able to recognize signs of abuse on the kids she teaches, so she would def be able to intervene in ways that no one could interfere for them.
Many people focus on her trying to get Natsuo to come to the family gatherings even when he doesn't want to and that is partially true. But even she said it outright that she DOES feel like Natsu as well. However she gets that it would probably be more helpful if they tried to heal instead of just pretending that nothing is wrong. That takes pushing her own emotions down too.
Enji is extremely grateful for her too, never stopping thanking her for her efforts. He def wouldn't be anywhere without her help and he recognizes that. But it is truly sad. Enji gave them the space they needed, Rei got discharged from the hospital, things were finally looking up... and then Touya bursts in the door dancing and setting the family on fire again both figuratively and literally.
On the other hand it forced Rei and Enji to face each other and Mama Todoroki dropped the other half of the stories finally. Even admitting that she herself wasn't innocent in creating Dabi. I def look forward to more Todoroki family interactions, especially Enji and Rei. I def think they should divorce and MAYBE after a long time they could fall in love for real this time, a loooooong time from now. But she def gives off the vibes of being the ice to Enji's flame. In their interaction she was cool and collected, as well as straightforward. It def reminded me of Shoto a bit. Enji is the roaring flame in all meanings. Rei by his side would def be something that tempers him in an ideal world.

Honestly I kind of dispise her writing actually.
Fuyumi is the second oldest, she is the most aware of their father's abuse, she thought she lost her older brother because of him, yet it's her who is playing fixer, it's her who tries to get her siblings to give their father another chance. She is so blinded by the idea that they could be a normal family that she doesn't want to accept the fact that there is nothing to fix here.
Which could have been a compelling angle to explore with here but instead they just keep her in that static place.
I really don't like the Todoroki family plot and how they are handling Endeavor's past abuse. It feels very wishy washy.
I admire the attempt at writing a emotionally complex abuser but Endeavor just falls flat on his face in my opinion in that regard and I can't help shaking my head at Fuyumi and their mom.
It feels very purposeful that the female members of the family are portrayed as forgiving and willing to give the abuser another chance while the male members of the family are allowed to have negative emotions about their abuse and hold a grudge against their abuser and it leaves a a very bitter taste in my mouth.
I thought Fuyumi had an ice quirk but damn she ROASTED him

I’m in love with the fact that the subtle emphasis Fuyumi continuously puts into her words is her saying _”my_ brothers”, implying the fact she not only doesn’t consider Dabi her brother anymore but that none of them are Dabi’s family anymore either
Up until Touya says 'Natsu' all sad and regretful- then it's 'you have been blessed with the best siblings' and 'every sacrifice you make is for OUR brothers'....it's so good I love them so much

Now seeing this again, wen Fuyumi said "MY brothers" that have to hurt but is the true.
Touya tried to kill Shoto many times and Shoto was really close to his death more than one time for his fault.
And that is only the half of the things what he did to his younger sibilings.
So Fuyumi has her rigth to call Natsuo and Shoto MY brothers and no OUR brothers.
The fact that people dismiss Fuyumi and Natsuo for not being physically hurt is something that I hate. They still had to live through that, and they are not "fine".
This is also really powerful considering how Fuyumi is still there (in the manga and anime), in her father's house just to try and keep her family together
Physically hurt is much different from being mentally hurt, physically scars can always heal (even if it takes a long time) but mental it can never fully heal, there's always somewhere in your head remiding you about things that were said or that you heard
The face he makes when she first starts speaking (the looking over to the side) makes him look like a pouting and petulant little child and I am FULLY convinced this is the animatic of “Fuyumi gets angry cause her brother is throwing a homicidal tantrum”- like Touya calm down just let go there’s no need to murder

That's what abusing your children and wife would do to them. Well, not necessarily turning them into criminals, but giving them trauma for a lonnnng time.

My views as childhood abuse survivor:
It shouldn't be Fuyumi's job to clean up her father's and brother's messes (that's not the best wording but) She shouldn't have had to parent her younger siblings. Your in-depth description literally hits the nail on the head. Just because you were hurt doesn't give you the right to hurt others. Toya desperately needs to hear that and I'm so glad you chose Fuyumi as the one to deliver it❤️
you’re right that it isn’t her job to fix her family. but she chose to for her brothers tbh I would have done the same if I was in her situation because I learned from my mother that if anything happens to them (my parents) as the oldest child I would be responsible of my little brother who’s still a minor while also being there for my other brother who’s an adult like me. Both fuyumi and I have to be strong willed mentally and physically to move forward instead of being stuck in the past and help out if that choice is an option.
@@cataclysmic_plagg yes, I feel the same way. As the eldest, I also would take up that position in a heartbeat if my brother needed me to, protecting him is practically ingrained in my DNA. I think "it shouldn't have been *forced* on her" is better wording. Especially since I believe she was still a teenager when her mom was admitted to the psych ward (I'd have to double-check that).
So true, I’m sick of Fuyumi slander I’m sorry she’s not a murderous evil beast like Dabi she’s just as much as a victim as everyone else!! Same as Shoto and Natsuo!! The Todorokis all represent different ways people can cope and people brush off Shoto and Fuyumi a lot more recently because they’ve “forgiven” Enji (you get what I mean) because they don’t understand that is a very real coping mechanism used by victims of abuse. Natsuo and Dabi are the more hostile more common responses (many Natsuo most abuse victims aren’t ending up like Dabi but many act like Natsuo where you’re just filled with hate and only go to family things to see your other members, snapping at the people who hurt you like he did with Enji)
Yeah because Shoto’s case he just feels so indifferent to his father and he is willing to see what happens and just because he is civil does not mean the abuse still doesn’t affect him or he has forgiven Enji it’s just Shoto’s personality that as long as no one does anything he stays calm (which I don’t know if it makes sense) but anyways Fuyumi on the other hand is one of the oldest she never experienced the abuse but she did experience emotional neglect and saw how the abuse affect her brother Touya before he left and how it affected Shoto and she felt unable to do anything so instead she took the role of trying to keep her broken family together she had seen people in her family just drift to the point that the todoroki family wasn’t even one and when Enji showed signs for improvement she just wanted a family who again
Also what’s interesting of the Todoroki siblings is that they are all victims of different things which is what’s so real about abuse that comes in multi siblings homes it makes none react the same Touya who had a quirk that literally destroyed his body kept being pushed with it but when Shoto was born his dad moved on like he had no worth unless he could be perfect which was why Touya got enough and left and went down totally wrong path
We have Shoto who is still a kid he handles his abuse while trying to move forward and heal which is difficult for him because I still think he thinks of training as something you are supposed to push yourself and also he probably developed a need that anything less than perfect is just not acceptable subconsciously he probably thinks like this I also can’t imagine he can handle kettles which is understandable due to the trauma of his scar
Natsuo on the other hand is harder to say about he hasn’t appeared much but from what we can say he experienced emotional neglect due to the fact that he didn’t have what Enji considers a strong quirk which was how Enji based your value as when they grew up this caused resentment and probably inner anger issues (now just an assumption I can be wrong) but considering how he also had to see how Enji practically drove Touya to disappear it is only fueled so instead than lash out he just wants to distance himself from the family which is an parallel to Fuyumi who just wants a whole family where they don’t hurt each other anymore
And to me Fuyumi is the strongest Todoroki she experienced not as much trauma but she did experience emotional neglect of the hands of their father she just wanna help and has taken the role of a caregiver even choosing to teach out of guilt for leaving her little brother to deal with all that Fuyumi is not some airhead she cares deeply about her siblings does that mean she loves her father still? Probably not but she is willing to work with it as long as he tries which to her as someone who experienced that kind of neglect is enough
The todoroki siblings are all just damaged and they cope with this differently as you say which is what makes it realistic because this is true in abusive homes where the treatment differs it all just makes people act different
Touya is what we can call the scapegoat if we are talking about the roles kids take upon themselves when they grow up in dysfunctional homes why Touya is that is obviously because he went down the wrong path he didn’t become his parent but he also did wrong choices out of being a damaged child if he stayed in the house he would probably become this further causing trouble not caring about the consequences
Shoto is the lost child he doesn’t know who he is and at the start he feels so trapped in the abuse that he became lost on being himself causing him to self isolate and such
Now Natsuo is the tricky one for me to place because he is shown not wanting things to do with his family he probably loves his siblings but he also can’t stay in the house so to him College was probably the time he was able to relax he didn’t become a hero which his dad never expected probably thinking he was weak because of his lack of strong quirk
Lastly Fuyumi is definitely the caretaker because she is not the enabler I don’t see her excusing her dad’s behavior but I also don’t see her acting out of it like the other three instead she took on the role as the caretaker she wants to hold the family together and her way of doing that is caring at this point we can assume she grew up way too fast to do this and that even now she acts like a mom despite only being in her 20’s

I don’t hate her but I consider her deeply Delusional if she thinks the others should just forgive and forget their abuser to create the image of a family in her mind.
@@MrSasunaru101 to me she isn’t delusional though she fully knows nothing will probably happen I have been the same way with my own dad it’s called a trauma response where your want for a family and when they show the littlest progress your brain immediately wanna forget even if it still is in your back of your mind that it will soon fall apart kids who grow up way too fast never had their emotional needs met meaning certain responses will stay with you
Also I feel like if Endeavor tried to lay hands on Shoto again she wouldn’t let it happen she’s a child who grew up way too fast when her mother went away she was probably forced to take the maternal role then Touya was presumed dead and let’s mention even if Endeavor never hit Fuyumi she was probably presumed weak because she hadn’t a strong quirk and probably because she was a girl as well she was ignored maybe the only time he acknowledged her was to look at her like she was a disappointment

I imagine Fuyumi would have a lot of pent up rage as she essentially had to raise her siblings and tries to move forward but keeps getting pulled back.

From personal experience Fuyumi can beg for a normal family all she wants. Her family isn't normal, and she can't and shouldn't be trying to force everybody else to act like they don't hate Endeavor just because of her own desires. Just because it's understandable and realistic doesn't make it right. There's no misconception, people know what she's doing. They just don't agree.

Tfw I actually cried. Fuyumi is how you write a strong female character, they don’t need to be groundbreaking or making a revolution but she works to build and fix, she devoted her life to helping people the best way she could and has shown strength in her resilience. She’s strong in the way that allows young girls to see that you don’t need to be revolutionary to change someone’s life and honestly in all the ways that I think horikoshi has failed in writing strength in all the other female characters.
Female characters in MHA are underrated imo. A lot of them

When she says MY brother(s) instead of "our brother" it hits close to home. My sister is a very horrible case and I always feel like I have to run away from her and be the better sister to my brother, so, because of that, I feel like I own him and she has no right to do bad thing to him.

Unfortunately for touya his mind is fried, literally. I read a thing where someone wrote about what they learned happens to the mental and physical aspects of burn victims. The fact he has survived 10 years to even remotely accomplish his goal is a miracle. He should have suffered massive organ failure many times over by now. It wouldnt be surprising if hes had a siezure at least once a day from the amount of shock his body goes through while burning. The amount of brain damage alone hes probably gone through. The man probably doesnt sleep, can probably barely eat. Hes got to be at least half blind from the damage to his eyes. I know its a world of supernatural abilities but this mans body is literally allergic to its own quirk. The only future i see for touya todoroki is one of two options 1. His body finally succumbs to the hell hes put it through 2. Shoto shanks him with a hunk of ice in their final fight..... This is only a light recap of all the stuff i read on their post..... He just wanted his dad to be proud of his existance.....

This feels so accurate to what is happening with the Todoroki family in the comic/manga. They’re finally seeming to heal and then Dabi comes along to trample on all that progress. I can practically _feel_ Fuyumi’s anguish radiating from this video

The entire Todoroki family is just one big train wreck tbh. Every single one is traumatized one way or another.. or even in multiple ways-
I don't think we take into account the damage the neglect, physical abuse and verbal abuse had on Touya. Like he said, he doesn't feel. Barely feels anything, if at all.
Basically what Enji did to him and his siblings has broken his psyche to a point where he cannot think rationally anymore.
His worldview is so far from reality because he didn't get help when he needed.
So why am I saying this?
Simple. I myself have been brought up in a home that is less than ideal. My parents were fighting for as long as I can remember. We have been through financial droughts a few times and my fathers occupation, Police officer, is also quite close to a hero.
My father was screaming every day when he came home. Screaming at me, my sister, my mother...
Now here I am.

Like I get that this is supposed to be a serious family issue, but I can’t get over the fact that Natsuo’s shirt is labeled front as if that was the only way to get him to put it on correctly.
i can see her being very childish in the future when everyone moves on because of the fact she grew up feeling and being a mother figurer towards her family its such a bitter sweet thing
I’ve seen this happen :/ and often people don’t have the time or energy to care for elders if they do regress into more childish manners
I genuinely feel bad for Fuyumi, all she wants is a happy family. But I loved the animatic.

0:20 the hair movement is just *chef's kiss* also I just love the way you draw Dabi and Fuyumi, they look really nice in this art style
0:34 made me stop the video and just stare, I love how the characters' attitudes are shown just by the way they're sitting - with Fuyumi keeping her legs close together and slightly leaning in and Dabi more laid back, not even daring to look her in the eyes like a child avoiding the eyes of someone scolding them, which makes sense since he didn't grow up properly
0:36 I love the parallel for their eyes here, and how Fuyumi's words hit Dabi (he's the only enemy he loses to beacuse his fire caused his burns and the Todorokis don't share the, or at least didn't share, the same amount of hate he has for them)
1:01 he only looks at Fuyumi when she looks away and can't see the sadness on his face
1:15 he just looks so sad 😭 and the animation on Fuyumi 👏👏👏

2:05 this is a nice call back to when he said exposing Endeavor was a sacrifice, so she was pretty much saying "that's not a real sacrifice, you only destroyed their lives more, you're actually selfish, here's what an actual sacrifice is - not running away from your problems" and repeats this point here

But still it was just unexpected because endeavor didn’t ever outwardly really seem to be. Looking back Shoto did seem to underestimate momo soooo who knows.

During my first 3 watches, I missed the frame at 0:11 and now I'm cracking up so hard now that I've seen it- Dabi's "Oh shit" face is priceless and even without the text beside him, you can tell he's thinking "I'm fucked". More and more reasons to adore this animatic come up every time I rewatch

No matter how bad Dabi became, I cant hate him. After reading their story, my hate for endeavor became bigger. Like his apologies and atonement can turn back time.
I can hate him very easily, he is basically using his father neglect to justify is unhealthy obsession with heroes and all the crimes he committed, he had a bad father but he alsi is had the whole rest of his family to rely on. He is the living stereotype of "it's my parents fault" child that can take responsibility for his actions. You can't go around causing mass murder and then expect pity. he is just an edgy psicopath

They just let endeavour push them around and he would always rant to natsu or fuyumi but after a while they got annoyed and told him to stop bothering them with that. Before shoto was born he was his dads “master piece” and his dad made him so obsessed with hero’s and wanna be one so bad but when his dad found out his quirk wasn’t entirely compatible with his body, his dad gave up on him. Expected him to just “stop wanting to be a hero” and payed all his attention to shoto. One day, Dabi invited his dad to meet him at some fun area because he wanted to hang out with his dad and have some bonding time but his dad never showed up.

Literally Fuyumi deserves the world. She’s the only one who truly still wanted to be a family even after what endeavor did and for her the just find out that her brother who was “dead” is a villain who has killed and ruined lives is still alive just proves she’s a strong female

This right here spoke volumes for me, and it made me realise why Fuyumi has every right to be angry here.
Fuyumi has done everything she can to mend her family from the harm her father caused, so her brothers could be happy, and so her mother could be healthy and happy again. She’s honestly been the glue holding them all together.
And what Dabi did could very well destroy all that in one fell swoop. Not to mention tarnish their family name for years to come. Gone will be their chances of starting anew with this hanging over them.
Fuyumi’s sacrificed more than Dabi ever could. But she did it for her family, not for revenge.
Even then, you can tell in this song that she _wants_ to be happy to see her older brother again - but she can’t because there’s no taking back what he’s done.
I love Fuyumi’s just pure aggression in this video but buried underneath that is sadness like YES

Fuyumi spoke the truth Toya needed but refused to hear. I think he would've realized on the spot that _'dear god, what have I done?'_ because he would've seen that he wasn't the only one who was suffering. he acted so selfishly, and in turn, he fvcked up everybody else over.
Fuyumi was second oldest, born to support Toya. because of how fvcked up their family was, she had to step in and carry it(she needs to go to the hospital cuz she broke her back doing that). she and Toya must've had some sort of connection being the oldest children.

I saw many fanfics and comments, those describing Fuyumi as denying loonatic.
But seriously - ever as a child she tried to be there for her family. Maybe it was often small things, but she played with Touya to cheer him up, comforted scarried Natsuo, took care about youngers and Rei in the hospital. Who know if things in family wouldn't get worse without Fuyumi?
Dabi/Touya was and is still too much concerned about his own and only pain. He wasn't show to make any attempt to ease situation to anyone in family. He's disclosure/revelation made things only worse for his family- like in "Hamilton" song.
So thanks for more appreciation for Fuyumi Todoroki!
DAMN, pop off I guess. This really shows just how much of a mother Fuyumi is to her little brothers, and how hard she works for them to have a good life, as well as how much she has sacrificed. She has dealt with their father just like the rest of them, but she is trying her hardest to be civil with him, which is pretty impressive.
Imagine being the guard 2ho watches this 5'2 preschool teacher rip the man who almost killed the #2 hero TWICE a new one and then knocked him out of his chair. This is literally SO fucming cool like,,, the extremely dissapointed sister vibes RADIATE from her, Dabi just sits there like a sad puppy.....like the sacrifice part really got to me because they both sacrificed everything, sacrifice their FUTURES for what they thought was best it's just Touya did it for revenge and Fuyumi did it for devotion and I JUST WANT THRM YO BE HAPPY 😭 😭
And the way that they both alternate between angry and sad....you're so good at writing I can FEEL every single frame of this. Holy sht holy SHIT I judt keep watching this there's SO MUCH to unpack!!!
I know that people are going to hate me for this but I'm still happy Touya exsposed Endeavor. This is because Endeavor abused both Touya and Shoto, constantly ignored Natsuo and Fuyumi, and sent their mom to mental hospital. I also find it weird how she says she knows her brothers like she knows her own mind but I don't think she really understands Touya's thoughts and the reason that she became a teacher was because she wanted to compensate for not teaching Shoto.
I just wished he didn't do it in a way that hurt everyone else not just endevour
