I saw these two fight at my first ever wrestling match .Winter Gardens Weston Super Mare 1975 I was 15 but from then on I was hooked and went to wrestling for many years until its demise. Very fond memories !.
I was also there the same time as you My Mum was a big fan of Tibor Szakacs and after the contest she asked me to go to the dressing room to get his autograph - he was a gentleman
@Joe Guitar I agree all the wrestlers were true gents I used to go as a child in the 70's and always hung around for autographs and was never refused(not even by the "baddies" Mick Mc Manus was a lovely man)and like you say some of them always had time for you funnily enough the only person who refused to sign and totally blanked me was Kent Walton himself but I only went to a televised event once so maybe it was a bad day that day.
@@vincentneale2620 Hello. I came looking for something like this after seeing Bruno Elrington doing a fight scene with Linda Thorson in an episode of The Avengers
Every Saturday afternoon tuned into the wrestling sometimes horse racing and snooker too. A great match here but in the 1980's wrestling went downhill sadly it stopped altogether in 1988 and USA wrestling came on sometimes but theirs was even more fixed, but more brutal. I also went to see wrestling at town halls etc. very good days. So nice to see these matches on here again.
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me

I used to watch it with my grandad on a tiny black & white telly. Our favourite was Alan Dennison
