Eddie Braben gets a lot of credit for their mighty BBC run in the 70s but Sid Green & Dick Hills wrote some very funny stuff for them on Two Of A Kind.

Never seen this before good old fashion humour not like all the real smut and swearing on now no wonder the countrys gone to the dogs, Eric was top of the pile in comedy.

I heard that the first season of Two of a Kind is coming out late May :D if it is, I am definitely saving up for that!
Time-Life syndicated THE MORECAMBE AND WISE SHOW(In an edited version)to commercial stations in the US a few years before Morecambe died, but I don't think that many people watched.
Eric and Ernie were the original Vic and Bob.

That is one of the travesties of their careers. The BBC did not promote them in the States because they reckoned the humour would not translate. Apparently after Eric Morecambe died they were shown on public television I think its called and the shows did really well. Things changed for UK programs after Python as they broke down most of the barriers. If you want to see another really GREAT comedian who's career took exactly the same route search dave allen on u tube look for the religion vid

I've been waiting for the DVD for about a year, they keep switching the date on Amazon and there's still no cover artwork of the supposedly upcoming DVD.
I wouldn't hold your breath, but I have pre-ordered it so will know when it eventually is due out.
