@@kuklakid...Nathan Chen is so amazing and so versatile with his dancing and artistry. He can skate to anything, really. His jumps are so consistently amazing and out of this world that it's what people like to focus on but, seriously, like you said, he's so much more than that.
Unfortunately it seems like they’re trying to get him to return to a ballet-esque style going by his current LP :( though tbf, I don’t see how they could have topped rocketman.

Well I just heard from the USFS “Champs Camp” that he brought it back indeed. So cool, to this day my favorite program of his (and probably my all time favorite; maybe tied with Yagudin’s Winter program).
@@QQ-wl6yt I heard he incorporated the music/ step sequence of nemesis into his new sp. I don't think he would just recycle the programme. Anyway super psyched for his new programme and layout, heard that it's really good!

Apparently, it's another Benjamin Clementine song with a nod back to Nemesis for the SP and then, for the FP, it's Mozart "Requiem" with a little "Lacrimosa" from Apashe. They sound like very different/contrasting programs(which is what Nathan usually does) so I'm extremely excited. The waiting game is so painful though, ugh!

Has anyone else noticed that since Nathan went back to school after the Olympics other skaters are trying to copy his style? Both of Ilia's programs in the 22-23 season were VERY reminiscent of Nathan, and especially Kagiyama's SP from his last year's Nationals, too.

Jumper is not a adequate description of Nathan Chen as a figure skater, although it is his strength that no other skater can challenge him , but he is a wholesome figure skater who always gives you the joy of watching him performing.
I'm sure what you've heard is the usual, repeated lie. He's not flowery and feminine like a majority of the other skaters but he definitely has his own form of a more modern, masculine style of artistry. There's a certain group of specific fans who love to hate on him because he's a winner. His jumps are also so consistently amazing and dominant that these haters will repeatedly accuse him of having only jumps and no artistry. It's out of spiteful jealousy. Pretty sad stuff.

The choreography in this is fantastic. He's so sharp and skating with such power. It was always my favorite SP of his, along with La Boheme.
