Kinda like how we also say "Care-a-mel" instead of "Car-mul". The lady they were with pronounced Praline closer to how we say it, but she seemed nervous about committing to her pronunciation, lol.
As soon as I heard them talking about pralines I knew exactly what they were talking about !!! I grew up going to that store in Savannah and l loved going there when we lived there !!!

I just realized that watching Jackson grow up this year has made my 2020 outlook so much better. The best thing in life to me is watching the world through a child’s eyes as they experience all it’s beauty for the first time. I can’t wait to see Jackson’s reaction to Disney Fireworks for the first time. Happy Thanksgiving to your beautiful family! Its a amazing feeling seeing them walk. My little boy is 11 months old and walking :) me and partner sat opposite each other on the floor quite close and stood my boy up and he'd walk couple steps now there's no stopping him

My mother made my son, when he was a toddler something she called veggie burgers- these were meat patties with different sautés veggies inside. Chicken with some onion, celery and apple added to ground chicken and formed into small meat patties or nuggets that I just cooked in a pan. She made beef with sautéed onions and yellow squash and zucchini, ground pork with onions and sweet potato. They were all pretty simple and we froze them individually and when completely frozen I popped them into a zipper bag so I could grab what I needed, lightly thaw and cook them up in a pan. They were a huge hit with him.
