In today’s home vlog we get to see Jackson take his very first steps! It was such an exciting moment to witness and we’re so happy to share it with you! We get to see him get better and better with his walking through out the vlog too. I also started my blonde hair journey! I’m excited to see how it will look after my next appointment, but I’m super happy with how light we were able to get my hair during this appointment! We had some lunch at Hawkers and then we head home where Tim put together his new Mickey Holiday Train, it turned out super cute! Jackson’s going to love it! We had a great couple of days and we hope you enjoyed hanging out with us at home! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

What a journey we have shared with you. From the heartbreaking vlog where you sadly said it wasn’t possible to get pregnant and you were ok with it ( but we could still see /feel the disappointment) to the fantastic pregnancy announcement, to the gender reveal, to Jackson’s birth, to his crawling and his first year to sharing his first steps. I feel so privileged to share this journey with you and I’m just so so happy for you all.

Following Jackson’s development this year has been wonderful. Used. To tune in to experience the parks given visits are so far between , from where we are ( middle of the Mediterranean) but now it’s more about how the little buddy is doing . Thankyou for sharing. I’m in shock that your red hair is not natural! I LOVE the blonde!!! Jackson is getting soooo big oh my goodness! I am so happy for you guys! Also, I don’t know if you have ever heard of the organization Operation Christmas Child hosted by Samaritans Purse, but it allows you to build a shoebox with toys that are sent to children in need during the holiday season! This can even be done online! My church participates in it with actual shoeboxes sent from the company, but being it is so close to the holidays, I know the online option works too🥰
It’s amazing that we all got to see his first steps. It is just astounding how quickly they go from not walking to full on walking. It seems like as soon as they realize that they can actually hold themselves up on their legs and walk that is all it takes. They feel confident and they are gone. I agree; I think the walker 100% helped. It helped him to strengthen his leg muscles so he could get the strength he needed to stand and walk on his own. In just an extremely short time period you will be amazed at how much he’ll be walking. Also, they learn to pick up speed quickly. Once they get on those two legs and get pretty decent at it that’s when they follow you everywhere. That’s when they start learning how to get themselves over baby fences and baby gates. They become a little Houdini. Enjoy it!!

Jen, I know this might sound odd, but seeing all Jackson's birthday gifts made me think of a Christmas present mistake I made when my kids were little. As a parent I was so excited to see them open their gifts. So, I would rush them through to open everything. I learn to let them play with their new gift. They will open the others when they are done with the one they opened. It has made Christmas day last much longer, and so worth it!
