- This one was sooo amazing to hear because of how amazing their harmonizing was in this one, especially at the intro!! I loved how soulful they got in certain spots and how well they overlapped each other in different parts of the song.
- Hudba
What is amazing about this song is that you know instantly that you've heard a classic. When the beat comes in after the intro you know you are in for an amazing experience. BTNH is one of the few groups that have the ability to rap and sing about murder but make it sound naturally beautiful. Shoot'em Up is another example of this very thing. Great reaction man. You have so many more classics to discover from this legendary group.
So we’ll said bro!
Their catalog is deep and so amazing!
Agree completely. Well put
That movie is called "Set it off" and one of my favorite movies of all time. Bone thugs n harmony gives me chills every time I hear them. Their song "Crossroads" was dedicated to my step-brother who was murdered in 98. He was a real G who listened to this group in his low rider all the time. If a song had some real base to it, you knew it was my bro pulling up! 😊
I miss you, bro Rip🙏🏼
Honestly, true BONE fans know their songs, SO don't feel pressure constantly stopping to gather thoughts! WE, understand, and did the SAME THING!! RealTalk!!
They asked Krayzie Bone around 2006 what his favorite Bone song is and he named this one. Quite possibly could have changed since then, but at least you know it was his favorite at one point
Not a lot of people know this one, but I think its peak BTNH
This song contains two samples. When the song comes on the sample is from the song "Tender Love" by the group Force MDs, then when the main part of the song begins the sample switches to the song "Making Love in the Rain" by Herb Alpert.
This is my favorite Bone Thugs song ever (and favorite song of all time, period). This track perfectly embodies their talent and style. It shows you all aspects of what they can do.
Soulful!
Love the reaction, the movie is from "set it off"
Bone is the best, you're sooo in for treats and treats with Bone's music.
glad I got to see them live many a times!!! All of them together another time when Bizzy was in jail and another time Flesh was in jail im pretty sure but they were awesome every time
Now you see that we are more than thugs,
Nice reaction
Oh, and I should also mention that if you're interested in the initial piano sample it came from a great R&B track from Force MD's song called Tender Love. They did the sample justice. Might be worth reacting to, that song might catch you off guard.
Funny enough I've heard of them from Nardwuar interviews...apparently they were the Force MCs but changed to MDs for R&B songs???
@@JettimousReactions I think they preferred MD because it stood for Musical Diversity for them. Either way, MD makes more sense in the end. Shame, all but one member of that group has died.
Also the main part of the song is a sample of "Making Love in the Rain" by Herb Alpert
@@2apocalypsex Damn it man. I searched my computer's archive and found it. The song is damn good, and once more Bone did the sample justice.
The song was the soundtrack to Set it Off with Queen Latiffah and Jada Pickett Smith
_The song “shoot’em up” is quite similar to this one as well and they also have another short sample of this song called “more than thugs”_
Bone Thugs - Shoot Em Up. Same harmonic vibes.
Hell ya 2 in one day !!
Keep with bone they got me into hip hop in around 1997
500 Bone reactions? Well, that would be a good start. Lol
Bizzy Bone didn't show up to the video shoot, and the music video is shorter than the actual song.
So, someone added footage for the beginning intro part of the song. They also added footage to make it look like Bizzy was there.
Hope that answered your question.
Ain’t a fan of it, ruins the REAL video
Fun fact:
When you hear "sherm" in their lyrics its a reference to the drug PCP, which is what Flesh was on when he went downhill, got jailed for shooting someone in the leg with an AK and missed out on their fame.
Oh damn so that's what caused him to go to jail...I heard about him being incarcerated for like 13 years but...damn.
The movie is Set it Off. It's a must watch if youve never seen it.
I love watching people become bone thugs n harmony fans...lol
I just said it's funny to see the new generation's reaction to Bone. It reminds me of when I was a youngster going crazy for their verses having to rewind and hearing it again
Yes, you should do it like how you’re saying, E.1999 Eternal, Art of War, then BTNH Resurrection👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
You weren't mistaken, Wish Bone did have the second verse. who ever posted the lyrics put Layzie Bone instead of Wish Bone.
I love the 90s rap because there was NO AUTOTUNE
Bone Thugs Flow is just Razor Sharp LETHAL!
Classic since day1
The original video is only like 3 minutes long. Plus Bizzy boycotted the video because they wanted Bone to Imitate the women in the Set it off video. So he wasn't in the video but they kept his part in.
You have to start with creep on a come up, that is their first album. There is not a bad song on there, if you want to see the progression, that's the starting point
Would you say the Mr. ouija counts? It looks to be only a min and half long
@@JettimousReactions not as it’s own video. Maybe do it with another song like the track right after it. Sometimes the short ones are a skit that leads into the next song anyways.
The whole album, do Mr ouija as an intro
Their first album is faces of death
Faces of death was not a nationally released album until many years later. Creepin on ah come up was their debut album.
Bro you gotta do reaction to 'notorious thugs' and ''down foe my thang' (next level bars on these tracks) 👊🏼
1st rap I wrote was off this song, the ghost caught me and I wrote a few bars 😂🎉 classic
Soulful
Bone album reactions !!! I'm here for the the new reactions not review's .but just subbed nice reaction
That's the real video. It was off the "Set It Off" soundtrack
The official video left out the beginning harmonizing part. So whoever did this video add in clips from other videos in order to include that beginning part.
Tech N9ne-welcome to the Midwest
Set it Off...the movie.
If you saw the movie the song would be emotional
That intro is Krayzie bone and only krayzie bone alone. krayzie is the harmony in bone thugs
no its not layzies in it too
Can you do ready 4 war by bone thugs
Yes! Unless he plans to do it as part as his progression videos like he mentioned which is fine too cuz that means he has to do all the songs that came prior to it
They have it wrong, Wish Bone IS the 2nd verse, NOT Layzie
Too long of a reaction
