To me a “Troll” is an ugly and cranky monster who lives in the mud under a bridge, but apparently there is a new definition as in a type of fisherman trolling and hoping for a bite.

Praise God for what you have done since the '80s!!! I sent your book to my pastor, my son, a Father of Mercy, and my bishop, who knows you and already had the book from you. So he passed Crisis on to someone else in the Chancery. All 3 commented positively on what they had read. AMDG!!!
In the process of reading the book with my husband right now. I can tell you it is disturbing, but so true that you don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. My belief is not in these men but in our Lord Jesus Christ; the Holy Spirit is present and active. We find our homilies leave us lacking or questioning about what was being said or not said. This has really helped and can’t wait to get into it more in depth.

Oy vey! Cardinal Kaspar and Georgetown, perfect match. I was a grad student across the Potomac. Georgetown was and is way out of wack. I never saw the errors disappear, they just didn’t “come out of the closet”, but it was rampant, in cliques in many university and monastery settings. I ran into it at many a conference. One priest got so mad at my remarks he got up to the podium and like a baby said, “ someone here has really hurt the feelings of the speaker.” I thought so be it. Christ did not tell us to compromise the truth nor accept compromise.

Dr. Martin, I've been listening to you through the years since I first was introduced to "The Choices We Face" on EWTN back in 1987. I have worked in various catechetical and youth ministry positions pretty much all my adult life, and to this day, I often use the opening words on The Choices We Face taken from Mt 7:13-14 on the Broad vs. Narrow way. Your voice ringing out that Scripture has always stuck with me, and I always use those verses to counter my students when they try to use the "everyone is doing it" argument. These words of Christ were confirmed by Our Lady to the children at Fatima when she said, "Souls are falling into Hell like snowflakes from the sky". Too bad Bishop Barron doesn't get it.
You are right Ralph Martin, it is not the external mundane culture that influences and the coz of the decline of Catholic Church but the clergy, the priests cannot clearly explain and expound it to the Church. Meaning, if they can't explain it clearly, it means they don't understand what they believe in.
The Church is in Crisis, many will be lead astray from this confusion, a sign for the end, but Jesus is in control. The Church will not be destroyed.

I am strongly pulled to share this with many family members both outside our Church and some who believe they are MOSTLY within our Church. But I already have the reputation of being sanctimonious (and a conservative!). Having sent other messages without any success, I am fearful that I may be worried about them and not see my own sinfulness. Clarity, please.
Sanctimonious would mean you feel morally superior to them. Charitable would mean you are concerned for their eternal souls.
I believe that, sadly, you - and I - have a LOT of company! The "New World Order/Great Reset" is all about removing God from society and eradicating any sense of morality. Our Lady promised this more than once (i.e., bishop will be against bishop and cardinal will be against cardinal, etc.) and we are witnessing it. Jesus promised that we will be persecuted for following Him, but He also promised "Be not afraid" and that He will remain with us to the end of time.
His words in today's (Sunday) Gospel (MT 25:31-46) are the only place in Scripture where we hear directly from Jesus about the final judgment. As our pastor said last night, if you know but one passage, know this one!

I met Fr Julian back when he was a priest with the Disciples of Jesus Community in Sydney back in 1990. He is an inspiring spirit-filled Bishop. Its time for the Laity to rise up, to pray for and defend our priests and to stand in the power of the Holy Spirit against the powers of darkness, that are currently causing apostasy. There is a global confusion and deception that is coming upon the world, and this pandemic was the trigger for this global deception. May the Return of Christ the King come soon!

I have come back to the Catholic Church 7 years ago and at the time OUR LORD was saying to me “ give me your heart and I will do the rest “. I keep my eyes on OUR LORD through this walk of love with my/ our BRIDEGROOM .I hear many many voices but OUR LORD said a strangers voice you will not listen to , well Dr. Ralph Martin is a voice OUR HOLY SPIRIT speaks through so when he has something to say we need to listen . I think the confusion is what allowed for legalizing the killing of children in the womb.
Grace filled talk! Praise & thanks be to GOD for Ralph Martin -for inspiring him to speak much needed TRUTH in this time of Darkness & Crisis. Thank you! Human beings exchange the Truth for a LIE because of concupiscence, our focus, our auto pilot mode is SELF, we love our point of view and do not want to change. Thus we need our Lord Jesus & the HOLY SPIRIT so we have the GRACE to WANT to change. It is a difficult road BUT we need to be FAITHFUL, we need to struggle, heed the WARNINGS of our LORD Jesus, the Apostles. Let us face the facts of the reality of sin and really deal with the situations. with and IN Jesus and MARY They are helping us who PRAY, who partake of the SACRAMENTS to stop offending our LORD with sin by our LOVE relationship with our Lord Jesus, Mother Mary. And together with Them, we can bring souls with us into the life of Grace and heaven.

@@EnilionVeno Me too. I am grateful for the priest willing to hear my confession and for the humbling of it. We know that it is Jesus there hearing and forgiving and the priest is a spiritual facilitator of the sacrament.

I saw a video of a conference given by Polish priest-exorcist Fr. Peter Glass where he mentioned in one of his exorcisms the evil spirit referred to a particular Mass that there were only actually 3 true believers present there despite there being many people and Fr. said he hoped the priest was one of those 3.

I'm frustrated that he didn't touch on the sex abuse crisis. I know that there's other real dangers, but I think that crisis is a HUGE part of undermining the Church's credibility, both internally and with society.
How are lay people supposed to follow the teaching on sexuality if the clergy, if the BISHOPS, aren't? Or not even holding their own who don't accountable? No, that stuff doesn't directly affect the TEACHING of the Church, but that stuff matters to people in the pews.

Thank you so much for this teaching. I totally agree. The truth when spoken seems hurtful to those it is spoken to but many times because of pushback often hurts the truth speaker. Jesus was crucified for speaking truth.... we are called to follow him to the cross, and also speak the truth.

I hope Bishop Robert Barron - who’s been teaching for years that we can dare to hope that hell is empty - listens to this. He is leading many souls into confusion.
I hope it’s empty too but I think it will be heavily populated. Our Lady at Fatima was very concerned that many souls were perishing from the sins of the flesh. What was once called sin is now called sexual freedom. Very concerning if all that freedom leads to eternal separation from God. I pray often that God will save souls from hell, all souls, but “the wages of sin are death” and if we die unrepentent isn’t that the end of mercy? I hope not, but I think so. We are saved by Jesus atonement and our belief in him it is said but even the demons believe. I think a proud unrepentant sinner is in grave danger.

Thank you so much for your clarity. The lies and the rot within the Church are overwhelming. I came into the Catholic Church recently. I will not leave again, because I have met and heard from a small number of truly faithful clergy and laity who are 100% faithful to the Gospel in all aspects of their lives. The Blessed Sacrament, the Blessed Mother, and these faithful souls are all insuring that people like me continue to fight on. God + 1 = the majority. "Here am I, send me!"
I am studying reading the book of heaven. What's coming is the kingdom of heaven upon the earth. The more people know of this jesus wants to give it to all of them and to proclaimed it. It is the end of the evil one and he knows this. FIAT 🙏 et amen

People can't properly respond to God while the devil is in them. The devil's strongholds MUST be torn down for God's message to get through!
God is not limited, and grace must come before faith or works can mean anything. Gracia prima. But they must opened enough to be willing to recieve somewhere. The job of finding the unlocked door, laboring and praying on the behalf of them that they may open the door and showing them its importance. We have crosses to bear and work to do. Let us prep the soil and tend the plants of the field that a wonderfully great harvest may be readied for the Kingdom of Heaven. But remember that God acts first, and we are all sinners, we all have concupisence, we are all guilty. We must repent and we must urge others to repent, but do not limit God or declare He can not reach them. If they can be shown to repent they can be brought to where their salvation, cleansing and healing can begin. Mortal sin must be rooted out, but if one dies in grace even while the struggle goes on to overcome the temptation, one is still saved. But that is spiritual Russian Roulette and of course intentionally entering such a state is gravely negligent.
A hardened heart can not beat though. It is their unwillingness to concede that they are in need of salvation in all the forms that denial comes in, that must be removed. Our Blessed Lord came to call the sinner not the just. If only the just could answer the call, then we are all doomed. It is only God's grace that can remove the enemy's strongholds. Do not place that task to them without God's assistance or they have no hope.
If you had in mind that it must be repentence, and it was a miscommunication, please be patient with me brother, I was not certain and wanted it to be clear for the sake of others.

It is ALL God's work. Without Him we can do NOTHING. The ability to understand and recieve the message, even repentance itself is a gift. My point is that the strongholds that Satan has upon our souls have to be dealt with for anyone to believe and then grow. The old nature must be crucified in order for the new NATURE to develop unhindered.

I became a Catholic not too long ago, feel like the wool has been pulled over my eyes, by the Curia. I keep trying to move away from my sins yet I'm surrounded by priests and Catholic groups that want to promote my sins.
I assure you and encourage you that your instincts were and are correct to have gravitated to the Church that Jesus Christ established as His on earth. Do not be discouraged, but continue to strive to be holy as it says in Hebrews 12:14, "Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." I am sorry that the graces through the sacraments are not readily available to strengthen you during these trying times. Despite unfaithful and poorly catechized priests and Catholic groups you are not alone.
Remain faithful, hang in there and know there are MANY who feel as you do and are praying fervently for restoration and justice. Don't leave Jesus because of Judas(s).

I paused at the 20:20 mark (+/-). "Some of the good is severe punishment for sin." I've pondered that almost since my conversion over 22 years ago.
My thought: To suffer here on earth -- I _think_ that might lessen our suffering in purgatory. Is there any Catholic teaching on this idea?

Yes that is how I think what happened to me. A severe mercy. One thing I will say and strongly sense is no sin is left personally un-atoned. The idea by some that Christ suffered so that I do not have to is an error to me. It is a wrong way to understand Christs death & resurrection. A wrong attitude to repentance. The Church should really strongly disown all sin. It brings so much misery into so many lives. As one writer once had to say, "the Church absolves sinners not sin". But redemptive suffering which I think you allude to is a deep and very powerful mercy that makes for a life of deep prayer.

When I share this with those who are not Catholic and who do not think they are sinners then this is only helpful if the legitimacy of the Catholic Church is necessary.
How do I start there?
Start with them. Walk with them and get to know them then present it in a way and at a time that they are likely to be most receptive. Like our Blessed Lord on the Road to Emmaus with the two disciples after His Resurrection, maybe read that passage of Sacred Scripture and meditate upon it.
Also know your own limitations and strengths, and work witn the talents the Lord has given you. It is different for each relationship, because it is a relationship and it is a journey. But be courageous as well, do not fear reprisal, remember why we are doing this, to keep them from eternal seperation from God, forever in agony, without hope, without love, and without goodness and in punishment for sin their sins. We wise, be joyful, be full of charity and compassion for them, and always speak the truth with gentleness and mercy, but say it.
Also be prudent, I know from experience, do not nag people, make every moment about it, or try to force them to do it, these will all only drive them away. Bishop Barron gives much good insight on how to go about this. Where there are flaws (or at least he is obtuse and less clear) in his approach or theology adapt accordingly, but there is alot to be learned in his videos.
Look over the First Letter of St.Paul to Timothy and Gospel of Matthew 18: 15-20, for what our Blessed Lord says about the matter.

We get confused when ,we are not fully converted by the dogmas and truths ,contained ,in the Bible and tradition ,within Our church. Confusion reveals that we must grow in our belief ,and conversion daily . We will grow , for the Lord is at work within us ,transforming
us ,to know His voice and follow Him.
All teaching contrary to the teaching of Jesus, head of our church,must be rejected. When we are confused ,that reveals we have not yet become convinced and excepted ,thatJesus is the son of God. A priest friend ,told me , when we do not agree ,with the teaching of Jesus, guess who is wrong?

The Church is the people or culture and that is why the Church is changing.
The Church is changed also by the liberal people in the big cites. I’ve seen churches in the country that have a different opinion then the ones in the city.
In the Breviary, St. Ignatius says, (I paraphrase) "So many are being lost because many priests neglect their vocation of spreading the Gospel." IMO this means that the Church and the Sacraments leads us to heaven. So people of other religions, Hindus, Muslims, Atheists, etc. will be lost unless they receive the aid of the Church and the Sacraments. Hence the Church and the Sacraments are needed even for non-Catholics or non-Christians, needed for their Salvation. "No one goes to the Father except through Me." Christ, in varilous ways, speaks to all people. (John, chapter 1, verse 9). Such people do not know the name of Christ, but if they harken to Christ's message, they are saved through Christ. How can Adrienne von Speyr credibly claim to have seen Hell, if she didn't see anyone there in torment? What the hell did she see that made her think she saw Hell in the first place? Why doesn't the Church ask these questions?
I know so many Catholics who are like this. For me this IS scary. It's frightening to me. I am not exaggerating. I try to follow the Fatima message. Yet rarely say the Rosary. Need to do that.
Your primary guide should not be private revelation brother, it should be public revelation and the Holy Tradition and Magisterium of the Church.
Look to the example set by the Saints.

Linda Brown I totally agree with you, miss Linda. I’m very close to your age and I’ve seen a lot also. There is a hell and I hope to avoid it. I’m still worried about my kids and grandkids now. I pray for them daily. Bishop Barron and many others are doing a great disservice to the would-be faithful.
