Such an exciting moment buying your first house together! My husband and I bought our first house together in 2010 and after having our 2 kids we upgraded to our 2nd home in 2018. Can't wait to watch you two grow together as well as share your adventures on Theme Park Worldwide 💕 Congrats!

Congratulations in your new home to both of you. I remember my first home & the excitement. It's great to see you both so happy. I love how you described your vacuum cleaner as a "vax hoover". It's like saying a car is a Kia Ford. I see the builders have installed square bum toilets. You two are going to be incredibly busy with your adventures. Congratulations Charlotte and Shawn on your new home. Love the mirror in the bathroom and all the lovely doors that match. May I recommend the corner sofabed in Ikea its the Friheten - Weve had ours for years, its ideal if you dont have a spare bedroom with a bed in it, as it just pulls out with ease into either a great movie/datenight sofa or a double bed for guests. My hubby sleeps on it when one of us is poorly and my parents use it if they stay or we go away and they look after the cats for us.

I grew up with no central heating, we just had electric heaters, my bedroom was always quite cold. When I moved in to my own house 8 years ago, I loved having the heating, but I can not sleep with it on in my bedroom! I just became so used to sleeping cold and that just how I like it now 🥶😄
House looks lovely, been watching for years and years but its so nice to see this! and Shawn being a DJ might be the best surprise ever and no wonder why TPWW has such good music

It's a lovely house, great kitchen, everything is fantastic.
Ur garden with being closed in, will be great for bbqs & when children come along they'll be able to play out safely.

It's a fab 1st home
Best couple ever, love that we can see your lives more now as well as the theme park side of it.
We found the 1st house is less stressful as we got our keys end of Jan and with us both working in the week only had weekends to do work but we decorated 3 of the rooms and fully moved in 6 weeks later.
13 years later I had a big 2 storey extension build on the side for a chill out area/ dining room with making the 1 bedroom bigger upstairs and to add another bedroom as it was cheaper than moving to a 3 bedroom house. There isn’t much left of the original house now and my next big project when my kids grow up is have a lovely bar build in the garden like you and your dad built at your parents house.
It’s the best thing having your own independent and I’m sure we will all enjoy a live tour round your house when the museum opens. All the best for the future. x

Just come across this video of your first home together. Enjoyed the tour, it's a lovely house, really pleased for both of you. You could do 'Harry Potter' under the stairs ha ha. Glad you are full time now Charlotte. We boarded our loft out for extra space and have our Christmas decorations up there and most of our Halloween stuff, old toys, games and computer things and some handy bits of wood too. We have a built in store place where my son kept his dj equipment and lights but they've been moved to another nearby location now to make way for yet more Halloween related items lol x

For the living room, I'd highly suggest a wall mounted telly. A TV unit will eat into your floor space, and you don't want anyone knocking into it when they turn the corner from coming in from the front door hallway 😀.

Love it guys. I remember moving into my first house with my missus and doing the IKEA run! Over time we’ve upgraded our furniture but IKEA is definitely the place to start!
I love my nest thermostat. It’s so nice to turn the heat on when you’re out and it’s cozy by the time you get home. Also we have central air conditioning which is nice in the summer

Thats so spooky, your house looks incredibly similar to one of my relatives house. The kitchen is pretty much identical just a bit smaller and the lounge is almost identical other than the stairs being in a different place. Congrats you guys, got yourself a lovely home there 👍
