redmi note 4 is still my all around phone. using my Mi A2 just for snapping photos :) id say that Note 6 pro is just a combination of Mi A2, Redmi Note 5 which adopted the notch for a slight difference. great job Xiaomi

@BINS TV Yeah, it's pretty damn good for ML. If you're into custom roms and kernels, move out from miui and flash custom rom. It's still worth it. Genshin is somehow playable at low
I've been using this phone for approximately 2 years and quite alot has changed since I bought it: camera quality surely got worse, everytime you try to zoom in, it glitches and I need to restart my phone. It lags as well, I still have 29 GB available, so the storage isn't the problem. And the thing that bugs me the most is the fact that it often turns on/off really fast and then starts restarting for 20 min. s t r a i g h t. But overall, the screen quality is still really great

@@iq_red3072 im still loving it except for a couple hiccups. Sometimes the camera can be slow to take pictures or videos. The User interface can trip out with notifications. It gives me the option to reply to a message in the notification bar, but the text gets covered by other text in the notification bar. some features like scroll capture don't work for me. It doesn't work like it's supposed to. I dont like the stock messaging app because the group texts do not work like in other phones so I downloaded 3rd party messaging app. Because of the 3rd party app, the message sound tone doesn't ring when I receive a message, instead, the notification sound tone sounds.
Small hiccups but overall, I love the phone for 180 dollars. It's better than my laggy old Galaxy S7 edge

I just bought the Note 6 Pro ($194 on Amazon) and it's the best phone I've ever owned! The screen is large and super bright (500 nits) so I can actually see it outdoors in the sun unlike many other phones I've owned. It's super fast as I don't notice any lag and the camera takes fast sharp photos. I'm actually glad it uses the micro USB and not the newer USB type-c cause I have tons of micro USB chargers around so I don't need to spend money buying extra chargers.
still having this phone on 2022 it's lagging a lot but afterall its pretty good

I have yet to hear a rationale for USB-C being better than USB-B mini.
In fact, I disagree and think C wears out faster than B.
It is definitely more durable haha are you crazy, also it also can be plugged in either direction, huge bonus, and all of our devices are gaining usb C connectivity, soon we will be able to charge all our devices with 1 cable.
You'd be crazy not to see the benefit

Am I the only one who actually prefers the MIUI skin to stock android? MIUI packs way better background task management when it comes to > 4GB RAM devices. Personal opinion though.

I see a difference between the two picture with ai and ai off, its the brightness of each picture and a very very subtle difference of saturation.

I think this phone should be named redmi note 5X instead of this, but, wait... It does have AI even on the global version?! This is good, but I miss some things: Selfie LED, stereo sound while recording a video, Qualcomm QC 3.0, amazing PDAF and EIS, and metal on sides.

RN 6 Pro isn't a good choice (Just rehashed RN5 Pro with a notch). Kinda outdated now. Have a look at Honor 8X, Realme 2 etc. You can even opt for Nokia because of agressive pricing from Nokia of late...

realme 2/pro is not yet available here in the philippines for now so i can't
about the honor 8x it says that it's supported by EIS but the video is not that stabilized greatly and shows a lot of shakes compared to xiaomi devices so i think honor 8x is kinda no for me
about the RN 6 pro i don't want to based because of it's predecessor but what it gives as an individual device that's why i'm comparing it between mi a2 lite and this one
@@evannieva6161 MI A2 Lite is not good compared to RN5/6 Pro. If it comes with Android One that might be an advantage. But, as far as I know, it's Android One only in Europe. You can even consider regular MI A2. It's a gr8 phone, but it doesn't have SD card slot, headphone jack etc. Also, it's battery is kinda weak. It's strong points are gr8 camera, Android One, powerful processor etc...

In all the advertising and on GSM arena it says this phone has a real dual sim and an SD card slot. Yet in the reviews I've seen it shows that its a crappy hybrid sim/SD card system. Does the 4gb RAM version have a real dual sim + SD card tray ?
