Tran Lily Albany is the capital of new york state its not a village lol. Driving from Albany to new york city normally its 2 hr 45 mins Buffalo to long Island approximately 6 and half hours.
There's a bus that goes down to chinatown for $15 from Albany, look up Capital Tour Bus on google.
