- The first new F1 video in years, and what a challenge. Kimi Räikkönen, a legend of Formula 1 and someone who was there purely for driving. When he was behind the wheel, he was the happiest. No media, no politics. Only racing. First, he went on a mission to McLaren, to replace Mika Häkkinen and bring championship glory to the team. But that never happened due to the reliability issues. So, he followed the footsteps of the legendary Michael Schumacher and moved to Ferrari. And that was it. He won the championship right away back in 2007. After a break, for his second half of his career, he joined Lotus, Ferrari again and Sauber (Alfa Romeo), and that is when we really got to know his funny side. As of now (2022), he is the last Ferrari champion. But he should have won many more titles. Just his pure speed, talent, and determination. He was just so fast.
I hope you enjoy this video. This really was the biggest challenge since Michael's tribute, and it's a bit different again. It's been my first tribute video in 6 years, so I hope you like it! Please share and comment, I'd love to hear your thoughts. And on a personal note, I must admit that I was never a huge fan of Kimi. I always liked his speed, but I couldn't find my way to him. However, after making this video, that has changed as I finally understood him. His pure passion for driving and racing. That is so admirable. Thank you, Kimi, for your wonderful career, the memories and all the good fun. Your legacy is unquestionable.

Formula 1 is a world of glamour, passion and excitement. With some incredible stories and tales, many of which have good endings but there are even some sad ones. Only the best of the best can drive those beasts around all the challenging tracks in the world - from Monaco to Suzuka. Legends like Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Lauda, Prost, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton... just hearing these names gives you "goosebumps"! And only true fans can understand why we sit in front of our TVs from March until November and watch the greatest drivers in the world chasing that championship trophy. It's a long journey, but only a few can achieve their dreams.
Formula 1 is also my big passion. I have followed this sport for more than 20 years. While we may never understand feelings of racing drivers, we, fans, have some special feelings too, when we see our favourites succeeding. And that is something hard to describe as well. Then comes "When Words Are Not Enough" as I try to share my passion and represent all the emotions to you, the fans. To never forget those special moments. Underrated. Understated. The guy minded his business, worked with what he got and people let him down more often than not. Stats dont show it, but he was one of the greatest ever. Beautiful tribute!

@@luisuco17 A lot of youngsters only caught him in his 2nd career. He was good, but especially after moving to Ferrari he didnt get the support from the team to achieve great things, and many only know him as a no.2, support driver.
Raikkonen 2003-2007 is one of the fastest drivers I have ever seen, surely top 10 of all time.
100%... He should have been 3 time world champion but the cars reliability failed him

The Lotus comeback was one of my favourite years of F1 racing! His return to Ferrari not so much.

My childhood hero. The man that inspired me to chase the F1 dream. On this day 3 years ago i received the new that i was gonna cover a Formula 1 race for the first time in my life. And i met Kimi there.

When he joined McLaren, I had a lot of hope. Unfortunately, the car was a disappointment
One WDC was enough for him... Just like James Hunt. He was one of the 3 fastest and most talented driver of 2000s. As a Raikkonen fan it is hard for me to say this but sadly, he did not care much after 2007. But even when he didn't care, he almost bankrupted Lotus. That's how Raikkonen was.

What i most see here is that how p2 and p3 support and hype up kimi when they win. It’s actually all smiles and hugs where’s as now i don’t see that heartfeltness much in a podium. Hugging each other with all that. F1 2000 to 2021 was the best cuz we’ve got great team mates and rivalries.
He will always be my favorite driver. Such a unique character.

I regret not getting into formula 1 earlier.
This man can do anything. Any sport I know of. So long it's something physical, he can do it. He can drive anything with an engine, too. He's The Athlete. He is underrated within the business side of F1 (because of how he's so focused on just the building and the racing), but I do believe he's one of the most loved driver in F1 2nd or 3rd to Michael and Senna. Everyone can't help but be a fan of this genuine athlete. And he's STILL within the top 10 of Drivers with Points.
I like to think he's not unlucky, or that fate intended for him to have the least luck because of how great he can be to keep some semblance of balance. The rest of the grid were the lucky ones, if he had the same luck as the others, he would've won every year.
And if we're not talking about luck, I like to think he's just TOO FAST as a driver that all the cars he's given just can't keep up with him. I can't help but have these what-ifs if he did have the car meant for him, or if he had been the first signed driver for Redbull.
He could've tone his driving down a bit, but it just wouldn't feel right for him. He wanted to race and race he did. He just let himself merely be and again the others were simply lucky that he did.
Lastly, those teams and higher-ups that fucked him over? They're certainly finding out until now :) He is still the last Ferrari champion that won them a constructor championship, too.
Simply simply lovely, this is why we follow you 10+ years, the expected amazing stuff and you still delivered just like years ago 👏

Then I find out that you have made another tribute video, this time for our beloved Raikkönen. Honestly. I have a feeling that maybe you didn't have much of freedom at background music choises, or maybe you had. I don't really know but all I can say is that you can do much much better than this.
I personally always liked Evenstar Saima's 2012-13 Raikkonen videos with more of, some sort of a dark and chilled background musics.
I've seen those great videos of yours first time in year 2015. Since then I always come back and watch it again in every 2-3 months I guess. Nice to see you making new videos anyways, a proof that you're alive and hopefully well :)
