The two mods everyone should have are the "Just ignore me passing" and "Don't block door" mod. They may not give you fancy technology but peace of mind.

I'd like to comment "Capture Them," as a mod recommendation. lets you pick select downed pawns to be imprisoned, pending open prison beds of course. comes with a tool in the Tool menu to drag and apply the selection to...or perhaps I already found it from you or maybe Noobert, not sure

I just put a stockpile zone for non smeltable tainteds in deep flowing water to rapidly rot, if my colonists really want something from there, like a hyperweave item, they can pick through it.

Grab Blood and Stains with Brighter Blood makes battles very very bloody
