this guy is a master. most of the other articulated flies u see are too bulky and would suck to throw. These are the perfect combo of fullness and sparseness. thoroughly impressed

I know this video has been up for a while but I didn't see anyone else commenting for it. I would love to win this fly because I am heading to Denmark at the end of the month and plan to do a bit of seatrout and hopefully pike fishing. I tie my own flies but I would love to use one of these not only to fish but to get dimensions, lengths, and just the overall look correct when I tie my own. Love the video. I've been tying for years ( Fisher-of-Men Fly Tying & Fly Fishing Instruction on Facebook ) & have never tied a Musky-Pike fly. Once in a while I like watching what others are tying & design a new fly for my arsenal. Absolutely a GREAT fly & I'd love to try one for some Michigan toothy fish.

I really want to win because me and my friend have just started to flyfish for pike (we have mostly fished grayling, trout and rainbow trout until this year).. It would be REALLY fun and a truly honour to try that fly in my favorite fishing waters! I will keep flyfishing for pike even if I don't win, it has taken my fishing to a whole new level! It's so intensive and it's so cool to see the pike catch the flies!

Brilliant video, brilliant fly. I've been fly fishing for trout since a young age. And pike fishing with jerk and crank baits for many years too. But for some reason never really put them together. This year I'm making the switch to fly fishing for pike. So would love to give this fly a swim. 😃

Although I don't fish for Muskie and pike I do fish for Zambezi tiger fish which are opportunistic fish and take any injured or small fish.And I think that your fly may catch my personal best.I'm nine but this is my moms iPad.

That's a nice pike fly you tied and thank you for the tying tricks. I'd love getting that fly from you because I love fishing for pike and I'd love to try some of those european patterns. I've been fly fishing since juily 2010 and I didn't catch many pikes. Hopefully I can change that with this fly.

Can you get the same action if you downsize this pattern for trophy trout. More likely in the 7-8" streamer size. Love the action on this for stillwater sections and can see this in rainbow colors with all that flash Fantastic tie👏
Haha I should win the fly because it took me 4 years to tie a copy and it turned out about half as nice as yours! Seriously though, really good toutorial. Genuinely just tied one alongside yourself. Doesn’t look quite as good as yours but I’m very confident it will catch me fish 😃
New to fly fishing on pike, and this looks amazing in the water. Would love too try it out in Dutch waters and see if the pike over here like Scandinavian food 😜

Riktigt snygg gäddfluga. Skulle vara perfekt att ha med sig på min gäddresa nu i maj. Skulle nog fånga många gäddor på 10+ :)

Köpte en av Andreas ledade flugor på fiskemässan i Jönköping, och tog med just den flugan min första gädda med flugspö: 7,5 kg och över 100cm! :) Flugorna ger bra med fisk och är ruskigt bra att kasta. Det hade varit en ära att vinna denna fluga och testa den i Hedemora i maj!

Very nice work. I appreciate your attention to detail. I want to win the fly to help me tie better pike flies so I can get more of my friends and family into fly fishing. Most people I know fish with typical spinning gear and I think catching fish on the fly rod is a totally different experience. Thank you for the great video.
