what you're doing is way above my skill level to play as a beginning player, but as a longtime listener it really makes sense to me.
Damn. That was really helpful! Lots of people on YT talk about improvising but always seem to fail to discuss actually USING the materials they’re throwing at you. You nailed this, Anthony, and I appreciate that!
I’m glad it helped!
This is so fantastic. I think you'd really like a tune by Miles Okazaki called "Kudzu." The head is basically these interweaving enclosures that delays the resolution of the chord tones of a blues in a super futuristic sounding way. Same concept! Thank you for this video!!
Great musical and applicable content ! 👍. That's what Jaco called "The real deal"😉
Thank you very much!
Very Very Very Very Good!
Fantastic material for players looking for where to start on improvisation to begin with.
Absolutely incredible! Love your vids and playing
Thanks, Anthony! Nice pdf.
This is exactly what I need man, thank you so much
Awesome lesson. Thank you
Every video I see from you is a big lesson. Thank you for opening my mind.
Thanks for sharing all the helpful ideas and secrets to be good, thank you Anthony!
Great lesson on enclosures. Thank you
probably this lesson is changing the lives of many ha ha ! Thanks for everything
It just clicked! wow
Tnx Anthony!
Thanks Anthony, great lesson !
My pleasure!
woohoo malaysia rep! Loved the lesson, coming from an indie bassist trying as a beginner to add some bebop vocab to his repertoire..
Nice one mate 💪💪🙏🙏
Fascinating. I'd never heard of "enclosures".
What?
Love watching you play .. been with your channel for awhile and I still can’t play like you lol keep it real Anthony
Haha, keep at it no matter what! Thanks for the love 🙏
so...chromatic approach to the chord tones??Thank you so much for this videos really helpful ♥
ToneyM presenting the stuff that matters
Really appreciate the pdf - Good video!!!
You’re welcome!
@@AnthonyMuthurajah 👍😊
Thank u so much
NO OTHER TEACHER addresses this concept. Neither instructionally nor applicably. You're [seriously] a great bass instructor, let alone an incredible bassist. Thanks for the lesson!
There are so many on CZcams
@@jakemf1 If you're referencing all the people that read about this concept once, apply it once then, convince themselves they are experts to the point where they make a basic video then, yes, there are so many on CZcams.
@@thephunk1 Nope- Chad B a sax player has a lot and so many others. This topic has been covered many many times. Love Anthony
@@jakemf1 Cool, well thanks for educating me, great wise one. I hope you feel exponentially better about yourself now that you've proven me so wrong with your worldly knowledge of CZcams. Is it cool if I live my life now or did you need additional comments to disagree with to help boost your ego?
@@thephunk1 The facts are clear your emotional response to them is not. Love Anthony there are multiple lessons and PDF and books about this. Best off luck
Woohoo first comment. Your lessons have taught me so much. Cheers
GREAT stuff but how long did it take you to really get it in your fingers ?
Honestly, it took me an entire gig to get it down because I was taught this idea during soundcheck 😬 I kept hammering at it during all my solos, until it came together. Naturally, after that night, I went home and hit the shed
So what’s the lesson? Just that lick? Use enclosures? I don’t get it.
Subscribe you fools!
Mr T... is that you?
😂😂
LMAO
