This channel is becoming my main source for improvement. Your mindset and game sense advice is incredibly valuable. I don’t have as much time to play nowadays, so finding concise and clear information is so nice. Great video!
So glad my content has been helpful thank you for reaching out and watching =)
+1 on this! ive been looking at the hooj vids and they are great imo
1 year ?
me: 3 years to reach asc 1
he played like 4000 hours haha, its a significant year
4000 hours in a year isnt possible bruh 😭
It took me 485 hrs to reach asc
@@AyukaAmameth when I was his age in the summer I played 1100 hrs on crossfire
@@w0rthytv yea but 11 hours a day for a whole year 😀 thats some damn consistency if true and some next level no touch grass fr😭😂
"When you build consistency, you are able to get consistent results." Beautiful way of putting that worthy. Seriously SO true.
Love the change of content from wooj
i'll be trickling it in with hooj content =) I have a lot of vods I review on stream just a matter of making the videos haha
Gonna watch it after work, it ll be interesting as usual
I'm a big fan of your content. Keep going
Thank you so much for the kind words =) any and all feedback is always welcomed
27:14 so true..I sometimes die from giving my enemy too much credit in thinking that they think like me
But I still think it is correct to believe your enemy is smart and will play correctly
4:51 its not only about consistent results, you also are way more accurate when it comes to troubleshooting errors since there are less random variables influencing the outcome. This obviously applies to lots of things.
I agree with the sens part but could you explain why Lev Aspas says to the sens thing is to have a range? He for example plays 0.4 800 most of the time but he said he often also switches to 0.25 800 dpi or in between 0.25-0.4.
Heres what i'll say.. Pros are looking to refine every small thing to find an edge, for us mere mortals consistency is so key, if you're constantly changing the parameters of how you play, you'll almost certainly never find comfort
Imagine for instance, driving your car, but every time you get into the car someone tells you, you need to have your seat at a different height, your mirrors moved in different lines of sight, your steering wheel never centered on a similar location.. Its gonna feel awkward as hell.
For someone in aspas or a high radiant, they have a high capacity for adaptability and can probably conform to the changes quicker.. But even for Aspas I would question why bother? Whats the goal for doing that?
@@w0rthytvthere was a video that I saw from vicose that talked about this exact phenomenon. I believe it had something to do with different senses being good to train for different aspects of aim? czcams.com/video/uPkYc84GrSc/video.htmlsi=zrOmODVwHMhsLPnz
@w0rthytv I agree, but if someone is trying to improve their general aim in all aspects, random sens isn't a bad thing. I'm not sure about the validity of in game sens changing, but training with multiple sensitivities will only benefit the player
I don't know if this is correct but it seems like this analysis shows just how much more a Radiant player can improve. Im guessing that the differernce between a low radiant and a high radiant player will be that they not only have that consistency, but they have already fixed those tiny details that you went over in this video.
Watching this analysis, also makes me wonder what the gap is between this guy, and my own gameplay. I'm only Ascendant, but this SEEMS totally attainable, if I were to put in another 2000 hours, maybe more.
bro woohoojin banana approved you on his discord server right now on stream !
haha im here =)
this thumbnail was solid
Thank you so much im workin on it!
great video. just one thing i want to point out, at 14:52 the screen is zoomed in on your webcam for too long imo, id like to actually see whats going on in the game 😅
You right!
As the person who Edited the video, I want to apologize. As it's a left over from something I edited out and just forgot to remove it 😢
@@Seid0I was wondering what happened there. Good editing tho bro
@@ElyWaves. Thank you!
that 1 way is so smart i have to start using that i thought i learned it all on jett but nope
as a aim trainer main aimlabs is still really important and warming up or aimtraining in game makes it to where you cant isolate specific weakness in aimtrainers you can evolve your aim ten fold so i dont rlly like your take but i understand it, aim training is still pretty new as a whole and most people who went pro in cs and val had to do it without aim trainers to help so thats why they reccomend not using it i will say you are right that aim training is really only needed in pro play for the edge and people sholuld be focused on in game mechs wayy more like movement ect. but aimtraing is still really valuable for alot of players but shouldnt be main focus
if you look at Ddk podcast you can look at VTmatty ow takes or dapr
8:20 "This is not your job" but what happens when both die and turn it into a 1v3? I feel like this happens really often
imo, and thats just my opinion, if your teammates lose a 1v2 in radiant, there are bigger issues than him not helping
Then you probably lose the round. Especially in radiant you have to trust your teammates to deal with problems that are their problems and if they don’t then oh well next round. They might even play it correctly but there are almost no unlosable fights in this game so sometimes shit happens. Anyway if vyn leaves his position to help that could throw the round even if his team gets the kill with or without his help
I just wanted to say that changing the sens is fine if you do stick to it for at least an hour and not mid game. Aiming is not a muscle memory like people in the val community say it is and actually there are benefits in some extent to switch your sens a couple of time a year maybe even month but yea changing your sens doesn't make you inconsistent
would love to piggy back off this changing sens is fine but you still should stick to a sens for a decent amount of time. w0rthy should def look into the more aim community stuff. Def should look into Daniel Kapadia (DDK) interviews with some of the best aimers in the world and even pro players with some of the best information Ive see on aim.
I agree, but I would not underestimate the importance of “muscle memory”. Your microadjustments are almost automatic and effortless when you practice the same sens, and it will take you weeks to get to the same level with a new one
@@Nharayana nah that’s the misconception there is only muscle memory to an extent. I do the same thing as you as to changing sens over a couple of weeks for consistency but if you do your research you could totally switch sens every day. I was one of those people who never changed their sens religiously but after doing a lot of research and learning that changing sens to work on different parts of your fingers hand arm and even your shoulder to work on different aspects of your muscles. I also instantly saw much better results because of it. Trust me most of all of the best Kovack/Aimlabs players have different sens for different scenarios. Trust me go listen to DDKs interviews
W0rthy even said it "pros are good at adapting" that's what aim is! It's mainly fine motor control. Muscle memory is/isn't a myth in terms of aim. Just doesn't work like people think it does.
@@x2Sav yes but it's nothing with pros everyone adapts to a new sens almost just as fast the only ones that do faster is the ones that change their sens a lot which a lot of pros don't do even tho they should because it has a lot of benefits
as a new player should I spend more time playing or consuming content? Sorry this is unrelated to the current video
do both, play a good amount start developing questions for things that happen.. then seek out those answers.. always be curious
@ 21mins into the video you mention writting down notes for future vod reviews, you start that part off by acknowledging him competing, does this only apply to those that compete or can this apply to those at lower levels of valorant around diamond? is it better to do this at that level than to reflect on what could have been done better, or again should this be saved for vod reviewing/higher level ranks? love you videos love your style of coaching it's very informative and is helping me improve in my own grind up the ladder.
You should always at all levels if your intention is to improve, first record the game, 2nd write down notes on rounds that you want to review for yourself to seek out answers for. It speeds up the review process and allows you to quickly apply correctives for future games.
The last thing you want to do, is lose a game queue up again and just keep banging your head against the wall hoping for a better result without acknowledging mistakes that can be fixed.
I hope that provides clarity =)
Thank you for your comment
@@w0rthytv it does thank you very much, another question I have though, If you can acknowledge the problems and keep yourself cool headed, queueing "all day" is fine right? (with breaks for food, bathroom, etc... in between) I know its quality over quantity for improvement but if a player has the time too queue more than 5 games if they aren't tilt queueing and avoiding auto pilot should they, or is it still advised to limit our play sessions to a set amount of games? thank you again for answering my previous question and appreciate the content!
@@ggNachoCheez If I could do it all over again, id play 5 games a day and use the rest of the time to get myself in a good mindset for tomorrows 5 games. Go to the gym, hang out with friends and family, vod review, aim train.. I'm not going to say no to you but id recommend doing everything I can to maintain consistency for tomorrow
I do the same thing with my sens at silver. I’ll switch between 1k dpi and 0.5, 0.36, and 0.28. I have kinda been sticking with 0.5 for the last while though. It’s weird bc if my aim is bad and I switch it, I randomly start hitting shots again.
The key word is random haha.. I'd recommend 1 sense and stick to it, I think I've changed my sense 5 times in 20 years of tac shooters to give you perspective
@@w0rthytv ye im sticking with 0.5 and its working pretty well for me. Its def on the high side for a game like val but it works pretty well. That way I can base my sens in other games off of my val sens and it feels good.
@@w0rthytvI do a similar thing but in my head I want to adapt raw aim before I get muscle memory to a sens
Didnt expect to see vyn on here
Is that yellow who is playing against Tenz
only 5 games a day is insanely low, if you look at anyone going pro they play way more then that when they are grinding, bare in mind when they are in a team and scrim its diffrent.
5 ranked matches, plus aim train, vod review, mechanics training etc is more than enough. Then you have scrims with your team, you're easily filling 8 hours with all of that
@@w0rthytvif you dont Work or go to school and your only putting in 8 hours you don’t want it enough imo, if your trying to go pro you are all ready behind people who are pro and they are putting in a minimum of 8 hours plus’s the have a whole coaching staff helping them.
The Among us sounds are 👨🍳👌
Don’t ever bring this dude back 😂😂😂😂
Isn't this guy known for being a streamsniper? Did he stop when you started coaching him?
He contacted me wanting help I didn't know his history, thanks for letting me know
Is this legit? This dude gives me the cringiest vibe. He actually seems like a weirdo. Like the clutch round alone that shit was so tongue in cheek when he said “what do i do here?” And then said “well let’s watch and see what happens”. Bro had no desire to actually be coached lol.
Your advices and your way to play this game, is just perfect. I’ve just gained 350 RR since I’ve found you. My game style changed a lot. Hit diamond from gold3 in probably 1 month. And I can clearly see what diamonds doing wrong and I’m sure I will hit asc not for long.
If I were a high elo player, who wants to be a pro or really care about e-sport options, I would definetely pour all my money and consume every inch of knowledge you have.
don't like the take on sensitivity, aiming is not muscle memory and one sense isn't as important as people say it is. In the beginning sticking to one sense can help you learn quicker, but once you reach a certain level (radiant in this example) you should be able to move between senses and have it not affect your aim in any significant way. Look up vtmatty (pro aimer) and see what he says about sensitivity. The way this guy changes his sense based on different roles makes a ton of sense.
certainly which video do you want me looking at where he talks specifically about valorant sensitives and how we need to have multiple
YEAH PRETTY MUCH BUT ITS NORMAL FOR HIM TO NOT KNOW THIS MANY PLAYERS WHO R NOT WELL VERSED IN AIM TRAINING THINK SO XD
@@w0rthytv I don't think matty talked about valorant specifiacally, but u can check viscose(also one of the best aimers) video take on this topic since she consideres valorant in that video. video name is "muscle memory is a myth(kinda)"
@teivel8060 is there anyone else who backs this claim of muscle memory is a myth? Because as a personal trainer who trains people on this principle I find this incredibly hard to believe, especially considering I competed in tactical shooters for nearly 2 decades with this the mindset behind muscle memory
@@w0rthytv . Well as viscose said changing sensitivity while training as good buh yet again keeping one sensitivity for matches is also good because there's more consistency rather than changing everytime u lose a round. Maybe those guys like tenz who got good mouse control can do it buh for us who don't play for money don't need to go to such extent for mechanics when u can climb on one or two sensitivities. Answ to ur qn wud be Minigod and Aleksandar(changes during training too buh not in ranked)
