      @@Fleischgewordener_Sterbehelfer as much as i like tenz and watch his streams a lot i'd say his aim and the rest of his mechanics is pretty much what makes him good instead of his gameplay. Imo nAts and Cned is a better overall player.

    TenZ suffers from the NA mentality. For some reason in NA, the flashy players are apparently the best players, while the ones who actually perform really well but aren’t as flashy aren’t as good. I mean, just compare shroud to EliGe. EliGe is arguably the best NA CSGO player, yet many think shroud is the best because he hits some sick flicks.

  • @DeezyGG
    @DeezyGG Před 2 lety +91

    Was he good in cs? Mechanically yes but team play was poor and he was a shambles in C9 and really was not much better than s0m which says a lot.
    Valorant just has a cult following for him which I can’t understand but best luck in his valorant career.

      I think TenZ benefited a ton from being on sen in the online era, they really provided an environment that allowed him to thrive and get over his nerves issues. The guy has insane talent, and his talent is also specially suited to val not cs. He's like scream, extremely good headshot and flick based aim, but weak spray

    The issue in Valorant rn is that we have so many crazy fraggers, some of them never made it ti the big stage and were stuck in bad teams. We havn´t seen a player like NiKo or S1mple that carried shit teams close to trophys, the closest performance to that was probably cNed in first strike europe. (Imo the highest skill peak we have seen yet) But even then it was not like the team was totally disfunctional like the Nikosports lineup.

    • @beanburritocs
      @beanburritocs Před 2 lety +3

      @@peterenis3507 I don’t know a ton about VALORANT but here is one reason that classes don’t necessarily make it more or less likely to see a NiKo or s1mple type occurrence.
      At times during their hard carry days (generally earlier on), s1mple and NiKo had crazy stats. But not always. However, it was still clear to the viewer that their impact was crazy, even again good teams. In VALORANT if duelists tend to have good stats anyway, then that becomes the new norm for duelists. A VALORANT player would have to be having game winning impact, not just good stats.

    Tenz is definetly a highly mechanically skilled individual for both csgo and valorant. Even though aim was his main upside he was never really the best at any aspect of it and that came with the drawback that his gamesense/teamwork was very subpar. So it is really obvious why when he transitions from a game stacked with some of the top fps talent in the world whom he couldn't even dream to keep up, to a game full of fpl rejects that he would be hailed as a god. He hasn't really improved as a player other than aiming, so he is massively overrated because of his flashy style and unfortunately for him as soon as others started catching wind of the game he started falling behind-

    I'd even argue that nAts is actually the best in Valorant atm. He's reaching high numbers consistently in his matches playing agents like Viper & Cypher that aren't the traditional 'fragging' agents you'd expect from a star player. That being said, the 'best' in Valorant is extremely turbulent atm, it seems like that moniker changes heads every month.
