I had a baby drowned spawn with a trident, I used blocks to block the tridents then after 5 minutes of placing blocks I contained the pint sized terror, then broke a block, struck with a sword, then placed it back, it didn't drop the trident but it dropped a ton of satisfaction. It was hard difficulty and I had no armor, only blocks and a stone sword.

It is possible for a drowned to intentionally attack another drowned, but only if the other drowned accidentally attacked that drowned while trying to hit the player.
Edit: In most cases, it’s with a trident.

@@aalluring On Bedrock edition, tridents have the same attack strength as diamond swords, but there's more to them. You can acquire them early in the game, and you can use them to attack at close range (like swords) and long range (like shooting arrows from a bow or crossbow). If you think about it, a tridents acts like a sword and bow simultaneuosly. Personally, I think they are pretty useful for early game players, especially those who haven't gotten their cubic hands on diamond swords yet.

The spawn rate for drowns seems to be out of whack bedrock-wide. It's to the point that it appears to affect the spawn rate for just about any other mob.

Really cool! Most of this stuff I knew but it was good to confirm a couple things and get some specific info. I didn't know the chance for one to hold a trident and the chance to drop it was that low. Definitely worth the prize though if they do!! It's also good to know that if they are holding a nautilus shell, it's guaranteed that they'll drop them! Definitely know to get them when I see them because I've done it so far! Also the info about them spawning a lot in rivers and going back to water when burning (except at night which is funny like you said) is good to know. Thx for the cool vid!
