I am using JAF since almost 6 months. One thing I noticed is that there is lots of buffering . while watching TV channels. I have never watched any TV program continuously for more then 10 mts. At times buffering continuous for as long as 5~10 mts. During evening hours only one or two particular ADs appear every 4~5 mts which is not cast if you watch on cable Connection. on complaining, I was given to understand that in the evening hours this problem is common as there are more users. Another problem is that there is no instruction booklet on how to use, which is must as we can't go every time to 'CZcams" videos. Local help is not available through Phone. It is available only on helpline which is too clumsy for many persons who are not used to it. For person like me (80+) once they allotted Engr. but he didn't turned up, instead instructed me on phone as to what to do. Probably they doesn't want to face problems.
What is the use of USB in behind Modem?
buffering is because of bad ping in Jio Airfiber. This will not happen in Jio Fiber, switch to that if possible.
Agree with you, I also have the same problem and the biggest problem is Jio Air Fiber customer support which is very bad for us, I have complained for this 4-5 times but they are not giving any response, it is my home but no engineer came.

I am using Jio Fiber Postpaid connection from last more than 2 year's and took a yearly plan ..... range is average in Jio router...and everyday using 25 GB to 30 GB with TV setup box

I have a query regarding the OTT subscriptions included with the annual JioFiber recharge:
1. Hotstar Subscription:
If I opt for an annual prepaid recharge for my JioFiber connection, will I receive an annual Hotstar subscription? Or will the Hotstar subscription renew every 30 days for 12 months?
2. SonyLIV and ZEE5:
Additionally, does the same apply to SonyLIV and ZEE5? Are these subscriptions also valid for the entire year with an annual recharge? Or will they renew every 30 days till the end of the plan?

@@vivu003 woh toh pata hai. Anyways I confirmed from Jio service rep. OTT sirf 30 days ke liye activate hota hai irrespective of term of the plan. If one has annual plan, OTT automatically renews every 30 days.

Jio Airfiber is worst, frequently disconnect issue.
Using Jio Fiber near Sub urb area Kolkata. Never faced any issues with wire. Never faced no Internet. Low speed never. Over 2 years experience. Only Internet no tv. 100mbps.
Check out after rain. Poor connection. Airtel is best

How did you get 926k subs? Do you know difference btw speed and ping? Simply put, latency refers to the speed of data packet transmission, whereas bandwidth refers to the amount of data sent. Ping is the actual speed!!!!
I have been using jio airfiber 100 mbps for last 8 months and ping is the worst 30-40ms, whereas wired will give ping < 10ms. Jio Airfiber is nowhere near Jio Fiber. Gamers and office workers always choose Jio Fiber.

Jio Air Fibre has the worst services in the market. I have purchased a Jio Air Fibre on January 24 and now regret my decision to go with Jio Air Fibre. I have purchased a 100 MBPS plan thinking that at least I will get 50 MBPS speed but it's not even touching 10 MBPS. And top of that facing frequent disconnection. Registered complaints more than 4 times but no resolution.

JioAirFiber is the worst
1. Interest disconnect frequently. Network is not stable. Slowness in internet
2. Digital TV setup has multiple issues. It is not fixed after multiple service requests are raised.
A. Digital tv for login frequently.
B. Automatically switches on by itself during night.
C. Setup doesn't connect to router when power goes and comes back.
D. Elders who doesn't have knowledge to use digital tv it is impossible for them to use.
3. When service request is raised to fix issue. Ticket is closed without even resolving issue. They are very careless to visit and fix the issue
4. Don't take annual subscription it's not refundable in case there is issue or relocation
5. Not possible to relocate in case you are moving to different city. No refund also incase there is annual subscription
It is very frustrating experience. Overall JIO sucks.

Important note :- Jio aor fiber is best if you have an big house or apartment and many people use internet and needed a broadband connection and if you have a hotel and you are the owner this is for you but while bad conditions and you leave far from tower then it might get disturb but jio fiber is best for small families 4-6 members and also much no drop if weather conditions are bad there is chances of breaking wire so it depends on you

Brother thanks for the information but Jio airfiber is not a good suggestion for us. I am telling from my personal experience that Jio airfiber has many problems like we can't get proper internet speed as per our plan, can't use it for some distance, never runs smoothly, too much buffering and even if we are watching videos in 480px quality then also buffering happens. I am getting better internet speed in my phone but I need more internet speed so I bought Jio airfiber but my money wasted in it. So I think Jio airfiber is not a good suggestion.
