TONKA is totally kicking major ass!! People like to compare him to Shenker but they’re two different players with different tone. Can Chapman play Shenker’s stuff? EASY! But it’s Shenkers tone that makes him who he is.
I Love Tonka Playing "The Plot" Song "Born Again" Just Goes To Show That Schenker Was Never Irreplaceable !!!! But Then Again, Paul Showed That At EVERY UFO Show That He Played !!

Tonka was great in this performance. He was always under a critical microscope when he was in UFO because he had some big German shoes to fill. Paul was a traditional rock guitar player, like Page, Bolton, Billy Gibbons, Steve Marriott, etc. He was no Schenker.
It’s great to see him being himself, later on, with Pete, playing like a monster.
Sad that these two great rockers, songwriters, and performers have left us. But that is rock'n'roll and life itself. A great musical legacy between them. And what's the first song? Kicks so much ass!

Loved seeing Pete and Mike open for RUSH back in the day. His bass was so loud 10' at the front of the stage. Miss that volume with all this bs technology.
