he needs space in the paint to drive/pull up and demar just takes up so much space when he is on the floor. demar being gone is going to do a lot for the paw - hell be able to freely drive every game every quarter as opposed to a few touches here and there throughout the game.

If you guys notice he only uses 2-3 dribbles max almost anytime he scores a bucket. He doesn’t need the ball in his hands a lot just needs to get the touches he can either shoot the open shot, hit the open man or take a couple dribbles waste minimal movements for a bucket. He’s gonna make a lot more people familiar with his game this season I cannot wait 🙏🏼🔥 these are the things I see personally that will shine more now that DeRozan is gone he shows a lot of subtle yet exciting flashes of
If there is no Vooch, DeMar, or Zach then PWill will get so many more touches. PWill better be working out extra hard this summer to deserve those touches.

There’s so much more to the game than that. He’s not a starter on a championship caliber team. He’s averaged literally the EXACT same stats since he got into the league. Don’t be surprised if he’s doing the same thing a few years from now.
@@jeremyevans3555 alr my guy obviously you don’t like him as a player yet this 22 year old player younger than Ayo Dosunmu & Evan Mobley etc… still out here getting paid a 5 yr extension not his fault he’s gotten hurt & has a terrible team & coaching in billy donovan put him on a competent squad that knows how to use him and he’ll flourish he was averaging 21ppg on a 18 game stretch when demar & zach were out. yet you still watching his scoring highlights commenting on another persons about patrick williams lol

no more excuses for pat not being aggressive on offense now that demar is gone.
