Grew up with this movie, read the book when I was Kid, had the LP sound track. I still have them all its one of my all time favorite films! The visuals are magnificent and all the actors do great work, loved Julie Newmar's apache 'Hes-ke'.
I finally found my favorite western movie soundtrack (searching for years what western movie it came from), all along it was from the MacKenna's Gold movie, had no idea, I first heard it when I was young. And no wonder, it's from the genius of Quincy Jones. Thanks to the uploader.

I was a western-obsessed kid in the 90s who spent one morning off from school putting together my recent birthday present, the Chief's Teepee set and the Rapid River Village set by Lego in the living room in front of the TV as this played. The music still sticks with me.
I love this. I had a friend's vinyl copy of the whole thing in the 70's, and I played it over and over again. Unfortunately, she finally wanted it back. Wish I could replace it.
I enjoy the music of Quincy Jones he has such an amazing variety of music and it spans so many genres. This is a great western score. I was suprised to hear some of the themes reused for the Wiz.
LOVE THE OUT WEST SCENERY, THE ROPE BRIDGE, OMAR + GREGORY+ OLD TURKEY BUZZARD. THE ORIG OTB 45 RPM WAS ON A YELLOW RCA LABEL THAT I PLAYED WHEN I WORKED AT KYCN RADIO.

This is probably the most messed up movie you'll ever see, but it's a fantastic and highly entertaining action Western. Don't miss it.
