Mostly because I’m shorter, and the desk sits higher it’s better Placement for specifically me as well as combined with sonar works I have a lot of those high end issues mitigated.
Also, my room is heavily treated because I have the treatment built into the walls. Thanks to Sam’s advice.

The mix sounds amazing! I can hear how it cuts out a lot of unwanted noise; but I am still lost on what a compressor does? Might have to break it down Barney style for me lol
compressor makes quiet things louder and louder things quieter making sound more even, makes things sound more consistent and eaiser to manage in a mix.
