80% of the time was spent drilling holes and tapping. It can be faster and easier if you do everything with the help of electric welding.

This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I am tired of watching videos where everything is made by super-gluing MDF.

I have an arbor assembly that is very similar to the part you show pushing out the shaft. Do you think a bearing separator would work to do the same thing for pulling the gear off?

Brilliant video Mistry! But it feels it would be expensive to make in UK. I think one needs a pretty full on, metal workshop to make something this good.

Good job, but very heavy? I assume it was made from scrap metal or what you've had. Quick calculation for 50x50x6x400mm angle and 100x150x8mm plate shows you'll be around 400MPa when using 50kN force

Very nice video, well put together, well edited. On your link to the dimensions etc. you have left off vital information to be able to build this at home for your viewers. Eg. the thickness of the steel used, you don't mention what size and thickness flat-bar and plate you used where and how, how you managed to put together the cross bar with support brackets the bottle jack sits on, how you made those support sliding brackets etc. It will take a very long time for someone that wants to build this at home, to figure out ALL the materials needed to build this at home - is this not the idea in the first place?

Великолепно проделанная работа! Аккуратный, а главное компактный станок, то что нужно для небольшой домашней мастерской. Отлично! Лайк!

wow thats an awesome job, and without welding as well.. something i could make at home :) i would imagine this could be used as a 10 or 20 ton press as well.

You must be a drill bit sharpening monster. Great, elegant little design. Perfect for pressing bearings from electric motor shafts and machine arbors.
